Park Policies

Check In / Check Out

Check in is at 2 PM MST. Early check in is not permitted. Check out time is 12 PM. Late check out may be charged a fee.

Late check-ins are allowed, please contact the park for instructions if arriving after 9 PM.

Site Changes

You have been assigned a specific site, if you wish to move please check with the office. Due to reservations and maintenance, moving may not be possible. Please inquire before moving sites.

Open Fires

Fires must be in designated fire rings. Alberta fire bans and restrictions will be adhered to, daily changes and updates will be provided by the camp host and posted to the reservation portal. 

Quiet Time Policies

Quiet time is 11 PM to 7 AM.

Safety and Emergencies

If you observe any activity you believe to be of concern, call 780-619-0606 24 hours a day. (No soliciting is allowed.)

If you need to call 911 for any reason, please inform the office so staff can be prepared to escort the emergency personnel to your site.

Visitors

Visitors are welcome.  Registered guests are responsible for ensuring their visitors are properly informed and that all campground rules are followed. Visitors may not bring pets. The camp host reserves the right to limit the number of people visiting a site. Day visitors must depart by 10:00 pm MST. No overnight visitors allowed.  All overnight guests are to be registered inclusive of your site registration.

Visitor vehicles needing a parking space can be arranged with the camp host in overflow parking.

Bathrooms/Shower house

For the comfort of all our guests, bathrooms are open 24/7 with exception of a temporary closing for cleaning. We ask for your help in keeping the bathrooms clean. Guests under the age of 16 need adult supervision in the bathrooms and shower house. This is for their safety and the safety of other guests. There is no food allowed in the bathrooms.  Please do not use the bathroom/shower house as an area to sleep, visit, eat or drink.

Children

Children under 12 must be always supervised by an adult. Riding bicycles on our main entrance road is prohibited for the safety of your children and our incoming RV guests. Children under the age of 16 may not use the restrooms without being accompanied by a parent or guardian.  This is for their safety and the safety of other guests.

Playground

Playground opens at 8 am after quiet time and closes at 11 for quiet time. Anyone under the age of 12 must be supervised by an adult. Please do not let your children climb our trees, as there is risk of falling, and injury to the children on and under the trees. Limbs can break and serious injury is a risk, keep your children safe for their safety and others.

Dinosaur Statues

Climbing or hanging on the statues is strictly prohibited, as they are not structurally built for this and will break.  Pictures and videos are welcome, please be mindful to respect the statues.

Trash Disposal and Recycling

Trash cans are located throughout the park. Please tie trash bags completely closed and put your trash completely in the trash container. Please do not place your trash on the ground.

A large dumpster is available should you need, please see the camp host for access. Please do not dispose of any motor oil, cooking oil, wires, furniture, mattresses, or any toxic or hazardous waste items.

Laundry
The laundry room is open 7 AM to 9 PM. Change and Vending is available with the camp host, please reach out per the office instructions posted. Please do not leave your laundry unattended. We are not responsible for accidents or theft.

Washing
Washing RVs or vehicles is NOT permitted. 

Washing of dishes is permitted at the outside wash station near the shower house.  Please keep the area clean and tidy when you are finished.  No washing is permitted in the bathrooms/shower house.

Laundry facilities are available at the end room of the shower house, do not wash dishes or other items in the laundry sink.

Drones

Drones are not permitted in our park. Please do not fly drones over the campground, people or RVs/Trailers/Tents.

Fireworks and Firearms

Fireworks and firearms are strictly prohibited in our park. The prohibiting of fireworks includes, smoke bombs, aerials, and firecrackers. The prohibiting of firearms includes all guns including air soft, BB, and pellet guns.

Vehicle Policies

Speed Limit

The park speed limit is 10 kmph. This policy is to keep you, your children, and your pets safe.

Parking

Each paid guest registration covers 1 RV and 1 vehicle per site unless additionally noted. Please see your camp host if you need to arrange for overflow parking. Overflow parking for Trailers or Boats, falls under storage and fees may apply.

No parking in common areas, playground, on the road, or sites that you did not register for.

ATV’s. Dirt Bikes, Motorcycles, and Golf Carts

No off highway vehicles are permitted.  All registered highway vehicles including motorcycles, must follow the park speed limit, and are only permissible on the gravel road, no pathways or walking areas.

Electrical Use

You are responsible for understanding how many amps you are using for your RV. Amp usage over the 20 or 30 AMPs provided, can trip your breaker. Please be mindful of your amp usage, so that you don’t trip your breaker during your stay.

Please notify the office so that we can notify maintenance if you have any electrical issues during your stay. Guests are not permitted to diagnose our electrical pedestals per insurance and safety requirements. Maintenance is happy to help. Even if you are an electrician, laws prohibit you from working on our pedestals unless hired to do so.

Pet Policies

Leash
All pets must be on a leash at all times. This helps you, your pet, and other guests and other guests’ pets stay safe.

Shower house/Bathrooms, Cabins

Pets are not allowed in the buildings. Please do not tie your pet to our trees, doors, or posts. Pets with owners at the playground, must be leashed and leash held by owner at all times.  No pets are to be loose to roam, even with a leash or lanyard that extends.

Cleaning Up After Your Pet

Be a good neighbor and please clean up after your pet always.  Do not let your pet deposit waste on any of our other guests’ sites. Ruffage areas where clean up may be more difficult should be checked and cleaned up with best efforts.

Leaving Pets Unattended
Pets may not be left unattended in our park. Please do not tie your pet to a tree and leave. Leaving your pets unattended is dangerous for your pet as many factors including weather, power outages, etc. can affect your pets well-being while you are away.

Barking
Excessive barking is not tolerated and disturbs your neighbors. Please note that excessive barking may result in you being asked to leave without refund.
