Reservations

  • Reservations are made online ONLY at https://www.campspot.com/book/anteroreservoir.
  • Reservations are $25/night and will include a $4 per transaction processing fee.
  • Campsite reservations can be made 90 days in advance, and up to day-of (check campspot.com for availability).
  • Campsites may not be exchanged upon arrival, a new open site must be reserved.

Campground Occupancy Policies

  • Check-in 2:00 p.m. Check-out 12:00 p.m.
  • Limit of 6 occupants per campsite
  • Limit of 2 vehicles per campsite
  • Limit of 1 RV or trailered camper per site
  • Limit of 2 tents per site

Denver Water Camping Regulations

  • Camping is only permitted in designated campsites.
  • Leaving a camper, trailer, pitched tent, motor vehicle or trailer unattended for more than 24 hours is prohibited.
  • All types of camping are restricted to a total period of no more than 14 days. Following the 14-day period, person(s) may not relocate within the campground area for a period of seven days.
  • Quiet hours are between 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.
  • All campfires of any nature on any lands, including all shoreline areas of the reservoir, are prohibited except where fireplace grills and fire rings have been provided.
  • Boats being stored inside a campsite must fit inside the designated site (not on native grass). Boats that cannot fit entirely inside the campsite must be stored in the parking lot next to the boat ramp.

Denver Water reserves the right to remove any visitor from the Reservoir in the interests of safety and security as determined by Denver Water personnel. Visitors removed from Denver Water property for these reasons forfeit their right to a campground reservation refund or any other compensation.

 

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations can be made online at any time. Once a cancellation is made the process cannot be reversed and the reserved site will become available for online reservation. See refund policy for details on refund structure. 

Refund Policy

Reservations cancelled more than 7 days in advance of arrival will incur a 1 night reservation and processing fee.

Reservations cancelled within 7 days before arrival will forfeit a refund of any kind.

No exceptions to the refund policy will be given for weather (including heat/cold/snow/rain), camping equipment issues.

Exceptions to the refund policy will be made for mandatory property closures. Examples include State, County, or Denver Water evacuation orders, restrictions on water access, or other severe environmental hazards. These exceptions will be made at Denver Water’s sole discretion.
