RV Policies

Check In / Check Out

Check in is at 2 PM CT and entitles you to your site until 11 AM the day of your departure. Check in and out times are important to our campground to be able to maintain the property. Early check in is permitted with host's permission, but please do not expect it. Plan appropriately and try to arrive at 2p or later. 

Late check-ins are allowed at any time, as they can be done/submitted online

Site Changes

You have been assigned a specific site, if you wish to move please check with the office. Due to reservations and maintenance, moving may not be possible. Please inquire before moving sites.

 

Open Fires

Open fires are not allowed in our park. Fires must be in firepits or designated fire rings. We have portable fire pits available for guests to rent for the night. Firepit rental is $2 each per night and bundles of wood are $8/bundle. We follow our county fire marshall's advice on firebans. If you are concerned if we are in a fire ban, please look up https://bentoncountyar.gov/fire-marshal/burn-ban-status/ for most current status.

 

Parking

Sites are strictly either one vehivle or one vehicle with a recreational vehicle. If you need more parking, please reach out to your host. Additional parking may be possible for your site for a small fee. Please do not park your vehicle, trailer, or boat in an adjacent site. Use of more than one site will result in additional charges.

 

Storage

Storage is not allowed under or around your RV or picnic table.

 

Site and Park Navigation

Please be respectful of your neighbor and do not walk between sites when navigating the park. 

 

Washing
Washing RVs or vehicles is only permitted with 1 bucket of water and a sponge. Hose washing is not permitted, as it can result in a mess and disturb your neighbors.

 

Rugs

Rugs bigger than 3’ x 2’ are not allowed as it kills the grass and we want your site to look good for both you and the next guest.

 

Pet Policies

Leash
We are a very dog friendly campground. If you do not like dogs or have a fear of them, this may not be the place. Dogs are permitted to be off-leash should they not be aggressive and have excellent recall. Aggressive dogs are not permitted on the property without host consent. We have pets on the property that are very much part of this family. If you are unsure of your dogs' recall skills, we ask that you keep your pets on a leash at all times. This helps you, your pet, and other guests and other guests’ pets stay safe. 

Cleaning Up After Your Pet

Be a good neighbor and please clean up after your pet always. Do not let your pet deposit waste on your site or any of our other guests’ sites please. Failure to clean up after your pet will result in you being asked to leave without a refund.

Leaving Pets Unattended
Pets may not be left unattended in our park. Please do not tie your pet to a tree and leave. Leaving your pets unattended is dangerous for your pet as many factors including weather, power outages, etc. can affect your pets well-being while you are away.

Pet Vaccinations
Due to Insurance Requirements, all pets must be vaccinated in our park. Please make sure your pet’s shots are up-to-date.

Barking
Excessive barking is not tolerated and disturbs your neighbors. Please note that excessive barking may result in you being asked to leave without refund.

 

Vehicle Policies

Speed Limit

The park speed limit is 5 mph. This policy is to keep you, your children, and your pets safe. Exceeding this speed limit will result in a warning. Multiple warnings will require us to ask you to leave. Safety is our number one priority for our guests. The gravel road coming into the campground requires a speed limit of 15mph. Please be respectful.

 

Parking

Each paid guest registration covers 1 RV per site and 1 vehicle per site unless noted. Extra vehicles will need to be parked in additional parking that has been approved by the host.

Trailers, Boats, and additional vehicles will cost additional fees for camping. A nightly registration covers 1 RV and 1 vehicle only.

No parking in common areas. Do not park in the middle of the road. Do not park in sites that you did not register for and do not block our garages or our bathroom and dump station.

 

ATV’s. Dirt Bikes, Motorcycles, and Golf Carts

OHV’s are welcome onsite but may not be used within the park.  

 

General Park Policies

 

Severe Weather

In case of severe weather, seek shelter in the tornado shelter or barn. Our dispersed camping area includes a portion that runs along the creek. Whether or not the creek is dry or flowing, keep in mind with a significant amount of rain (flash flooding), the area could flood. Always be aware of where you choose to set up camp and keep an eye on local weather. The hosts have zero responibility to inform you of oncoming severe weather. 

 

Visitors

Only registered guests are permitted to enter the park. All other visitors must be approved by the host prior. Visitors may not bring pets. Bentonville Bike Camp reserves the right to limit the number of people visiting a site. Day visitors must depart by 10:00 pm CST. Registered guests are responsible for ensuring their visitors are properly approved and that all campground rules are followed.

 

Electrical Use

You are responsible for understanding how many amps you are using in our RV. Amp usage over the 30/20 AMPs provided can trip your breaker. Please be mindful of your amp usage, so that you don’t trip your breaker during your stay.

Please notify the office so that we can notify maintenance if you have any electrical issues during your stay. Guests are not permitted to diagnose our electrical pedestals per insurance and safety requirements. Maintenance is happy to help. Even if you are an electrician, laws prohibit you from working on our pedestals unless hired to do so.

Restrooms

For the comfort of all our guests, restrooms are open 24/7 with exception of a temporary closing for cleaning once per day. We ask for your help in keeping the restrooms clean, please. Guest under the age of 10 need adult supervision in the bathrooms and showers.

 

Treefort & Mini Ziplines & Swings

The treefort is open to explore. Children under the age of 5 will need adult supervision and help up the stairs. All children under the age of 18 need adult permission to climb up the treefort and Bentonville Bike Camp is not responsible for any injuries that may be caused from the structure. There are several swings and mini zipline on the property that we love havving others enjoy. Please be respectful when using and use at your own risk.

 

Quiet Time Policies

Quiet time is 10 PM to 7 AM. Anyone playing loud music will be warned only once and then asked to leave without a refund.

 

Trash Disposal and Recycling

Trash cans are located by the black shed. Please keep in mind we are a small family campground - no large trash please. Please try to tie up all bags. Recycling is not offered at this time. Trash pick up is typically Fridays, at times Saturdays.

 

Children

Children under 18 must be supervised by an adult at all times. Riding bicycles without a parent and on our main entrance road is prohibited for the safety of your children and our incoming RV guests. The swings, ziplines, and treefort close at dark. Anyone under the age of 18 must be back at their site by dusk. Children may not use the restrooms without being accompanied by a parent or guardian.

 

Drones

Please ask your host for permission.

Clotheslines

Clotheslines are not permitted in our park.

Fireworks and Firearms

Fireworks and firearms are strictly prohibited in our park. The prohibiting of fireworks includes sparklers, smoke bombs, aerials, and firecrackers. The prohibiting of firearms includes all guns including air soft, BB, and pellet guns. If these items are seen outside of your RV, you will be asked to leave immediately without a refund.

 

Repairs

Repairs to RVs and vehicles are not permitted in our park. We are happy to recommend a local Mobile RV Repair service that comes out to your site to assist you with any repairs.

 

Safety and Emergencies

If you observe any activity you believe to be of concern, call (661) 345-6754  24 hours a day. (No soliciting is allowed.)

If you need to call 911 for any reason, and time allows, please call the office so the maintenance staff can be prepared to escort the emergency personnel to your site.

 

By accepting this reservation, Guest hereby waives, releases and discharges and covenants not to sue Bentonville Bike Camp for all claims and liability for personal injury, accidents, property damage, any other claim arising out of or in connection with Guests’ use of the Rental/Property. Further, Guest agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Bentonville Bike Camp from all losses, claims, expenses and demands, including attorneys’ fees, that Bentonville Bike Camp may incur arising out of or in connection with Guests’ use of the Rental/Property. Guest further agrees to be responsible and liable for the actions and safety of every person in their group.  Bentonville Bike Camp reserves the right to remove any renter, occupant or guest who is subject to a lifetime registration requirement under a State sexual offender registration program.

Pet Policy: We are a pet-friendly resort, but pets must be cleaned up after and may not disturb other guests. Pets are the responsibility of the owner. Management reserves the right to restrict disruptive or aggressive breeds. 

Management shall not be held liable or responsible for non-utilization of package components or loss of recreational opportunities due to weather or any other circumstances beyond our control.

Bentonville Bike Camp or its management bears no responsibility for any loss or damage to any person or property, or thing howsoever caused.

The management reserves the right to evict any day user, guest, camper or group of campers for any cause.
