Beaver Creek Village at Big Bear Lake Camplands
Policies, Rules, and Terms of Service.
NO visitors permitted. All guest are to be accounted for on your reservation at time of booking. Please notify our staff if additional car passes are needed.
NO electric scooter, e-bikes and (or) all other throttled battery powered devices permitted.
Pre-season and post-season. Due to cooler temperatures, the water to your site may be turned of to prevent freezing of the pipes. There will be water in the Comfort Station.
*NO DIY campers / Must be a RVIA approved RV.
If you have booked your reservation after business hours (4:00 pm) EST, the same day as your arrival. Please bring a copy of your reservation with you to check in.
If booking through Campspot Marketplace there is a 10% additional surcharge.
You May go directly to our website to avoid this, there will be no other discounts used if booked through marketplace including camping specials.
***If you purchased the "weather guarantee", this is a third party offering the coverage and is in no way affiliated with Beaver Creek at Big Bear Lake Camplands, any issues/refunds etc... must be done through them.**
Please ensure that any and all guests entering the park are registered and paid for at time of booking. If you choose not to register your guests, you will be asked to leave the park without refund.
I agree, and shall cause my children, invitees and guests, to abide by the park rules, including those rules and policies, posted on our map, posted at the Premises or otherwise communicated in any manner by Big Bear Lake Camplands management.
I further understand and agree that Big Bear Lake Camplands does not give credit or refunds due to the discomforts that nature may cause, early departures, illness, work schedule changes, water park closure or ejections. Big Bear Lake Camplands refund policy varies, depending on the timing of the cancellation notice in advance of the reservation date.
Fees
There is a $7 administrative fee added to all reservation when booking. *Note: the campsite reservation/admin fee is non-refundable.
6% sales tax added to all reservations when booking.
This only applies to reservations made after May 2, 2023.
* On-site water hookups during pre-season and post season.
During pre-season and post-season onsite water hookups may not be available when the temperatures are forecasted to be 32 degrees and below. Subject to be disconnected/turn off at any time.
However, water will be available at the comfort station for you to fill up your on board fresh water tank.
Check In-3:00PM and Check-out 1:00PM.
Rates: RV sites are based upon one family, one camping unit and one vehicle. A family is 2 adults and their dependent children (17 and under) or 4 adults. Additional guest is $10.00 per guest daily.
Primitive tent site rates are a daily rate, per guest. (Regardless of age).
Full payment is due at time of booking.
We accept reservations for specific sites, but reserve the right to make substitutions and changes if needed unless you pay the lock in fee.
Deluxe & Standard sites: Site numbers are located on the electric box and are visible from the road. Please only camp on the site you have been assigned. If you chose another site, you may be asked to move.
Primitive tent sites: Primitive tent sites are #27 through #37, please only camp at the site number you were assigned. Primitive tent camping is not permitted in any other areas.
If the site that is assigned to you is occupied, please contact the main gate at 304-379-8641 or return to the gate.
Golf Cart General Rules and Regulations:
All golf carts must be registered and owners must sign a hold harmless statement that also includes the rules and regulations governing the use of those vehicles within Big Bear Lake Camplands.
Golf carts must be insured for liability and damage.
Owners must make sure that their coverage will cover the cart while being operated on the roads within the camplands.
*Safety First! ANYONE caught driving in an unsafe manner including speeding will lose his or her golf cart driving privilege in the campground.
* Any person operating a Golf Cart must possess a valid motor vehicle operator’s license that is issued by a proper state authority.
* ALL riders MUST be seated, no more passengers than seating safely allows, no sitting in other people’s laps (other than infant children).
* ABSOLUTELY NO STANDING ON GOLF CARTS!
* Golf carts are required to follow all posted speed limits and drivers are expected to drive in a responsible way.
* Golf Carts are required to drive on the roads only. DO NOT cut across campsites or grass areas.
* Pedestrians always have the right of way.
* Golf Carts must have mounted lights to operate after dark. Flash lights are NOT permitted.
The Big Bear Lake Board of Directors shall be permitted to adjust the aforesaid fees by motion or resolution from time to time as it deems necessary.
1st offense – $50 fine
2nd offense – $100 fine
3rd offense – removal of unregistered vehicle from Camplands.
All fines to be charged to credit/debit card on file.
Holidays require a 2-night minimum stay, Memorial Day, Fourth of July and Labor Day.
No-Show Policy: All guaranteed reservations will be held until 9:00am on the morning following your scheduled arrival. After 9:00am, your reservation will no longer be guaranteed and your site/rental unit will be cancelled, no refunds will be given.
As a participant in a recreation activity, I am responsible for acting within the limits of my ability and heeding all warnings regarding participation in the activity. I will maintain control of myself and any equipment while participating in the activity and will refrain from acting in any manner that may cause or contribute to injury to myself or to others.
I HEREBY RELEASE, WAIVE, DISCHARGE AND COVENANT NOT TO SUE Big Bear Lake Camplands, its owners and agents (collectively, Big Bear Lake Camplands), from any and all liability to me, my children, my invitees/guests, personal representatives, and heirs for any loss or damage on account of injury to person (including death) or loss or damage to property relating to, or arising out of, use and occupancy of the Big Bear Lake Camplands property, facilities, amenities, water park, participating in activities, and (collectively, the Premises).
I have had sufficient time to read this entire document and, should I choose to do so, consult with legal counsel prior to signing. Also, I understand that this activity might not be made available to me or that the cost to engage in this activity would be significantly greater if I were to choose not to sign this release, and agree that the opportunity to participate at the stated cost in return for the execution of this release is a reasonable bargain. I have read and understood this document and I agree to be bound by its terms.
The Premises are privately owned and THE BIG BEAR LAKE CAMPLANDS MANAGEMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE to anyone for any reason except for those prohibited by law. Big Bear Lake Camplands Management reserves the right to ask any person or party it deems necessary, to leave the campground based on violations of Park Rules or behavior management deems inappropriate or disturbing to others. I have read this notice and agree to it as well as all Big Bear Lake Camplands Rules and regulations. In addition, I understand that I am responsible for the actions of all persons registered in my party, including any children, and any guests that visit during my stay. On behalf of each person in my party, I grant Big Bear Lake Camplands and its affiliated entities and promotional partners the right to include any photographic, video and other visual portrayals of each person in my party in any medium and for any purpose.
Bike, water park, and lakes Waiver
I, the parent/legal guardian (court appointed) or custodian of the participant(s), agree that the participant(s) and/or I shall read and comply with the terms, rules and conditions for participation on Big Bear Lake Camplands water park and lakes. We will not hold Big Bear Lake Camplands liable for any claims, injuries, or damages arising out of or related to participation in any and all activities. The activities available are dangerous and I assume all risks whether known or unknown, of injury, including death, illness or damage to property. Big Bear Lake Camplands is not responsible for whom participants will be sharing equipment with. Big Bear Lake Camplands requires all persons to wear a helmet when riding a bike. I understand that it is my responsibility to supply myself and guest a helmet.
Water Park Rules are as follows:
1st Warning- Is when you read the rules; please read them to your children.
2nd Warning- Verbally warned.
3rd Warning- Out of pool.
Children in diapers must be wearing swimming diapers (please check every 20 minutes).
ONLY plastic bottles allowed at the pool side.
NO glass bottles or cups inside pool area.
Adults are responsible for the children they have brought with them and must be INSIDE FENCED AREA. Adults/parents are responsible for their children’s behavior.
No alcohol or drugs permitted. No smoking on patio or pool area.
No pets in pool area.
Anyone with cuts, sores, colds, or communicable diseases are strictly prohibited from entering the pool.
Do not swim if you have or had diarrhea in the past two weeks.
Owners and management are not responsible for accidents, injuries, or lost articles.
Cigarettes: Please do not dispose of your cigarettes on the ground, use a can, or ash tray, do not throw in fire ring without a fire.
I AM FULLY AWARE OF THE CONTENTS OF THIS AGREEMENT AND RELEASE, AND HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND ALL OF THE TERMS. THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT BINF ME, MY FAMILY (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, SPOUSES AND DOMESTIC PARTNERS), HEIRS, EXECUTORS, ADMINISTRATORS, DEPENDENTS, BENFICIARIES, SUCCESSORS, FRIENDS, VISITORS AND ASSIGNS.
In consideration of this agreement, Big Bear Lake Camplands will permit User to participate in Resort activities, subject to User's compliance with all Resort Rules, Regulations and Safety Policy, Resort retains the right to deny entrance to its facilities or participations in its activities, to anyone in its sole discretion. User understands and agrees Resort has the right to ask and/or make user leave at any time for any reason with no refund,
PET RULES:
No flexi leads and must be kept on a leash at all times.
Must Pick up after pet.
Pets cannot be left outside or unattended alone, nor tied or chained to a picnic table.
No aggressive dogs.
FIRE RINGS:
Do not move fire rings. If a fire ring is moved there is a $25.00 fee for damage.
Please be sure fires are low or out prior to going in for the night. Don't leave trash in your ring. No one wants to pull into a site with someone else's trash in the fire ring!
Please remove all trash from your campsite and place it in the trash trailer provided near the comfort station.
A service fee of $150.00 will be charged to all guest that leave trash behind.
All fines/service fees will be charged to the credit/debit card on file.
ALCOHOL OR DISTURBANCES:
Those 21+ years of age may have alcohol on their campsite. Use a can/bottle koozie off site. We are a family campground and public drunkenness is not desired. Please keep music at a comfortable level for everyone including your fellow campers. We have the right to ask you to leave Big Bear Lake Camplands with no refunds due to public drunkenness, rude behavior or actions.
QUIET HOURS:
12:00AM (midnight)-7:00AM ...please be courteous and abide by our quiet hours. Disturbances after 12:00PM can result in asking you to vacate the campground
Quite hours $150.00 fine. All fines to be charged to the credit/debit card on file.
SITE LOCKING FEE:
While site type is guaranteed, site location is not unless you have paid the site locking fee of $10.00. Please call if you have any questions regarding the site locking fee.
REFUNDS/ CANCELLATION
Note, we do not give refunds, transfers or credit due to the discomforts of nature, personal or medical reasons. The fun continues rain or shine. For more information on our park amenities and calendar of events, please visit www.Bigbearwv.com or our Facebook page.
By entering your credit card information, you agree it may be used to pay balances due for your current invoice and future invoices including but not limited to, payment for canceling any or all of reservation past our cancel period, no show, and or adding additional days on reservations.
Electronic Signatures: You agree that your electronic signature, whether digital or encrypted, is intended to authenticate the Terms and Conditions contained herein and to have the same force and effect as manual signatures. Delivery of a copy of this Agreement or any other document contemplated herby bearing and original or electronic signature by email transmission in “portable document format” (.pdf”) form, or by and other electronic means intended to preserve the original graphic and pictorial appearance of a document, will have the same effect as physical delivery of the paper document bearing an original or electronic signature.
