Birch Haven Rules & Regulations

  • We consider Birch Haven to be a close community of friends.  Many of you come camping to relax and enjoy the Lake. Please respect each other and each other’s Birch Haven experience.  As managers of Birch Haven it is our job to ensure you all have a relaxing and wonderful time at the lake.
  • Restrooms, showers and laundry facility are open 24/7, unless posted for cleaning.
  • Check-in time is 1:00 pm. Check-out time is 12:00 pm
  • For cancellations, please notify us at least 48 hours before your scheduled arrival to receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance are nonrefundable. 
  • No breaking, cutting, or debarking of trees.
  • No lifeguard on duty, please take precautions.
  • No washing of any vehicles or RVs
  • No outside refrigerators of any size.
  • Please drive slowly and carefully in campground. Please observe the 5 MPH speed limit.
  • No motorbikes, mini-bikes, golf carts, and ATV on the lake side of the campground.
  • No pedal bike riding after 8:00 p.m.  For your child’s safety, please no riding of bikes in the big hill.
  • All dogs must be leashed and in the owners control at all times unless the animal is enclosed (fence, shock collar boundary area, pen) in an area on your lot. Please clean up after them!  Our field is for use of the children to play on.  Barking or nuisance dogs will not be tolerated.  Please respect your fellow campers.  Management reserves the right to have you remove nuisance animals from the campground.
  • Under no circumstance will visitors be allowed to bring their pets
  • No loud music at any time. No music is to be played after 10:00 pm on weekends and 9:00 pm weekdays unless preapproved.
  • ALL WATERHEATERS MUST BE ON GAS AT ALL TIMES.        
  • NO ELECTRIC HEATERS.
  • Close party lights before retiring.
  • Please report all plumbing and electrical difficulties at office. These problems would be considered an emergency.
  • All boats and trailers will be stored across the street in the new parking lot and appropriate fees paid. For the safety of our children no boats or trailers will be allowed to be stored on campsites.
  • All visitors must get a pass at the office if staying overnight and pay an overnight fee of $10.00 per person.
  • You are responsible for your guest’s safety and actions at all times.
  • All guests staying past 8:00 pm must park in the parking lots at the bathroom facility or by the garage.  You are limited to one guest vehicle on your lot at a time, your other guests must park in the parking lots. This will limit after dark vehicle traffic in the campground.
  • Make sure your guests leave at checkout time.
  • Quiet hours are:
    • WEEKDAYS - 10:00 pm
    • WEEKENDS - 11:00 pm
  • Please help us keep the grounds clean.
  • If you are unable to comply with these rules and regulations or you are being a nuisance to our community of campers, we reserve the right to have you evicted without notice, warning or refund. 
  • Any suggestions, complaints or issues should be brought to our attention immediately.
  • Only trash, which fits in Birch Haven trash cans, will be picked up. Bicycles, construction products, metals, old grills etc. will not be picked up.  Please bring these products with you. 
  • There will be no setting off fireworks within the campground. The safety of all our campers is paramount.  Sparklers are the only exception.
  • Renting your camper is not allowed.
  • Most importantly please enjoy your stay!!

Management reserves the right to have you evicted without notice and without refund if you do not abide by these rules and regulations or if you are considered a nuisance to other campers.
