Birch Lake Campground & Recreation Park, Innisfree, Alberta.
🕑 Check-In: 2:00 PM  🕛 Check-Out: 12:00 PM
Late checkouts without prior arrangements will be charged for an additional night. If you have not arrived by noon the day after your scheduled arrival and have not made arrangements, your campsite may be re-booked.
Vehicles & Parking

Only one motor vehicle and one camping unit (e.g., RV, trailer, or tent) are allowed per campsite.

No visitor parking is allowed within the camping area or at campsites.

Visitors must use designated parking lots only — parking on roadways or empty sites is not permitted.

Vehicles may not impede traffic or block access.
Enforcement
Rules are enforced by campground management, RCMP, and bylaw officers.
Non-compliance will result in eviction without refund and cancellation of camping permits.
Liability
The owners and operators of Innisfree Birch Lake Campground & Recreation Park are not responsible for loss, damage, or injury occurring on the premises.
Day Use Area
Picnics are allowed in designated day-use areas only. Camping in day-use areas will incur standard camping fees.
Vehicles must park in designated areas only.
OHVs are not allowed.
Behavior & Safety
Foul language, threats, or aggressive behavior toward staff will result in immediate expulsion without refund.
No person shall interfere with another’s peaceful enjoyment of the park.
Fireworks are prohibited.
Children under 18 may not camp alone or rent a campsite. Parental supervision is required. Parents are responsible for any damages caused by their children.
Pets
Pets are welcome but must be leashed and under control at all times, including at campsites.
Owners must clean up after their pets.
Limit: 2 pets per campsite. Extra pets are $5.00 per night and must be disclosed at the time of booking.
Limit of 2 cats per site, including extras.
Off-Highway Vehicles
The use of off-highway motor vehicles (OHVs) is strictly prohibited in the campground, on ball diamonds, trails, lakefront, and lagoon areas.
Alcohol, Smoking, & Drugs
Alcohol is only permitted at your registered campsite.
Alcohol consumption in roads, washrooms, day-use areas, trails, and other public areas is strictly prohibited.
Public intoxication or rowdy behavior will result in eviction with no refund.
Smoking, vaping, e-cigarettes, and marijuana are prohibited in public areas.
Cleanliness & Conduct
Keep campsites clean and free of garbage.
A bear-proof garbage bin is located in the main parking area. Do not litter.
Unsightly campsites will not be tolerated.
Fires & Firewood
Fires are allowed only in designated fire pits.
Do not leave fires unattended. All fires, coals, and smoldering materials must be fully extinguished when leaving your site.
Fire bans may apply. Check albertafirebans.ca for updates.
Firewood is available at the office for $12 per bundle until 8:00 PM.
Guests & Visitors
Quiet hours: 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Park gates are closed from 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
All visitors must leave by 11:00 PM
Overnight stays are for registered guests only.
