Birchview Farm Campground

Birchview Farm Campground is a family oriented facility and the following rules and regulations have been established so everyone may enjoy their visit with us: Please be sure anyone registered to your site whether adult or child knows and understands what is allowed. Anyone failing to abide by the following may be restricted to their campsite, asked to leave or if necessary removed by local authorities. Parents are responsible for their children’s behavior, safety and whereabouts at all times while within the campground.

  • Check-in will be remote- there is a bulletin board on the front of the office building.  Please take the map with your name/site info and proceed to your site

 

 

1. Speed Limit is 5.0 mph and applies to all permitted vehicles – please drive cautiously and always watch for children. Only one vehicle is permitted per campsite unless arrangements are made with management. All vehicles must have current registrations and inspections. Only licensed drivers may operate vehicles including golf carts. Mini-bikes, ATVs, dirt bikes and other off road vehicles (except registered golf carts) are not permitted in campground. Battery operated scooters and riding toys are permitted.

2. QUIET TIME is from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. Televisions, radios, etc should only be heard at the site you are occupying. Loud and boisterous gatherings will not be permitted. Violators of quiet time may be asked to leave without a refund.

3. Children under the age of 18 years are not to be left alone in the campground. Children under 14 are not permitted at the pool or the pond without an adult. There is not a lifeguard at either the pool or pond. Children under 18 must be at campsite by 10:00 p.m. and must be supervised at all times.

4. Pets are the sole responsibility of the pet owner. Only 2 dogs are permitted per site without prior approval. Pets must be leashed at all times and may not be left unattended at your site, in your RV or vehicle. Please leave barkers at home. Your pets must have a current rabies vaccination and a current certificate may be requested. Please use non-campsite areas to walk your pet. It is your responsibility to pick up after them. Owners who have pets displaying any form of aggressive behavior will be asked to remove the pet from the campground. Pets are not allowed in the pool area, playgrounds or any buildings. Do not tie pets to picnic tables, trees or shrubs.

5. Campers and campsites must be kept in clean and neat condition. All items must be stored inside camper or deck box. Campers who have utility trailers, boats and extra vehicles may be asked to park them in the storage area, storage fees may apply.

6. Grey water and sewage must not be dumped onto the ground. Hoses and sewer pipes may not be buried. Please be considerate of your water usage. All hoses should be drip free. All RV and vehicle washing is strictly prohibited unless prior permission is granted by management. Kiddie pools are prohibited.

7. Air conditioning, electric heat, clothes washers and dryers may only be used where there is sufficient power and capacity. If you have any questions please ask management. If you overload our electric circuits or damage equipment we reserve the right to charge you for additional electric usage and repairs.

8. Trash must be bagged and placed into the dumpsters. The dumpsters are only for campground generated trash, no trash from home or work is permitted. No tires or batteries may be left on the premises or placed in dumpsters. The Campground reserves the right to charge extra for large, heavy or bulky items.

9. Visitors: Day and overnight visitors must register and pay the visitor fee. It is your responsibility to see this occurs. Registered Camper must be on the premises while Visitors are present unless prior permission is granted by management.

10. The maximum number of people registered to a campsite for overnight is a total of 8 with no more than 4 being over the age of 18. Only one camping unit is permitted per campsite, a tent may be placed on an RV site for an additional charge.

11. Pennsylvania’s drinking age is 21. Underage drinking, use of drugs or excessive use of alcoholic beverages will result in a call to the Police. Open displays of drunk and obnoxious behavior are not permitted. We do not permit kegs in the campground.

12. Fires are permitted in fire rings, please do not move fire rings. Fires must not be left unattended and should be kept small and extinguished when you retire for the night. Do not place trash, bottles, plastic, cans, treated or painted wood in fire.

13. Picnic tables may not be permanently covered, carved, or stapled. Cutting of trees or shrubs is prohibited. Do not drive nails or anything else into trees. Chainsaws are not permitted on the property without permission.

14. Please do not flush anything down the toilet or introduce any substance into the sewer that may cause a clog. This includes feminine hygiene products, paper towels, disposable wipes etc. Do not dispose of cooking oil, paint, fuels or any other substance in the sewer system or on the grounds. If there is a clog in your sewer line due to prohibited items being flushed, the minimum charge for cleanout is $50, further charges may be assessed in accordance.

15. Pool rules and hours are posted by pool gate. No one may swim alone. Children must be accompanied by an adult. NO LIFEGUARD IS ON DUTY.

16. The discharge of firearms, air guns, BB Guns, sling shots, paintball guns, bow and arrows and fireworks are prohibited in the campground unless prior permission is granted by management.

17. Propane tanks greater than 100# are not permitted in the campground, unless prior permission is granted by management. No more than 2 tanks per site. Woodstoves and indoor fireplaces are not permitted.

18. The Pond is for Catch and Release Fishing Only. PA Fishing license is required. No swimming in the pond. Do not throw anything in the pond except a fishing line.

19. Birchview Farm Family Campground assumes no responsibility for the health or safety of Campers, their family, or their guests. All activities within the campground shall be deemed at one’s own risk. These activities shall include, but are not limited to swimming, fishing, hiking, using playground equipment, and/or participating in any other campground activity.

20. Please be considerate of other campers. The use of profanity will not be tolerated; repeat offenders may be asked to leave. Do not cut through others campsites whether on foot, bike of golf cart.

21. The Operator and Owner of this facility are not responsible for any interruption of service due to malfunction or breakdown of the infrastructure. During the off season the campground or parts thereof may be closed and Camper may be prohibited entry.

22. If the Police are called due to the behavior of a camper, Birchview Farm Family Campground has the authority to require those campers to leave the campground immediately.

23. All buildings are smoke free.

24. Violators of the rules and regulations can be requested to leave without any refund.

25. If you decide to leave early for any reason campsite fees are not refundable.

26. It is the campers responsibility to provide adequate venting and escape of carbon monoxide.

27. Irreconcilable Difference with Management: Use of campgrounds and campsite is at the sole discretion of Birchview Farm Campground Owners and Staff. Staff may determine, for any reason in its sole discretion, that it is necessary for the Camper to leave the premises of the Campground prior to the scheduled end of the period/term. The camper will be given one (1) day to cease to occupy the campsite and remove the camper from the Campground. In the cases of Monthly and Seasonal campers the camper will be given five (5) days to remove the camper from the Campground. In the event of a disturbance of the peace or criminal activity, the campground reserve the right to require the camper to leave immediately.

28. Management may change or amend these rules. Notice of changes will be posted at the campground office.
