Guidelines for a perfect stay at CAMP KOOTENAY RIVER, BC
- Check- in is between the hours of 2 p.m.-8 p.m. Check-out time is 12:00 p.m.
Please notify our office staff prior to 10 a.m if you plan to stay longer than initially planned. - Only one vehicle per site, parked in front of the unit on the gravel – extra vehicles or visitors to be parked in the overflow parking beside the office/mercantile.
- Speed limit within the campground is 10 km/h.
- Please DO NOT move the fire pits ($100 fee will be charged if it is moved), and never leave your fire unattended while burning.
- Both grey and black water tanks must be full before dumping to prevent blocking our lines.
- We charge per sleeping unit. No more than 2 tents per site. No tents on the grass.
- Quiet hours are from 10 p.m – 7 a.m. No unreasonable noise is permitted at anytime.
- The laundry room is open 24/7. Please do not hang clothes on lines or trees at the campsite.
- No liquor is allowed in public areas, other than your own site.
- The smoking of any substance is prohibited in public areas, we reserve the right to request that you smoke off the property if it is interfering with the enjoyment of other guests.
- Please keep your campsite free of clutter for the enjoyment of all our guests.
- Please separate refundable bottles from garbage and place in proper receptacles.
- Offenders of vandalism, including abuse of vegetation life and/or theft will be evicted and prosecuted.
- The Operation of ATV’s within the Campground is limited to; your site to the nearest exit and the entrence directly to your site.
- Visitors must park in designated parking areas and walk in, we ask all visitors to leave by 9:30 p.m.
- Pets are welcome (All pets must be registered with the Campground Office).
We do insist that they are kept quiet and on a leash while here.
Please always clean up after your pet and stay away from the playgrounds. - We reserve the right to absolve responsibility from natural or unnatural events or acts of nature.
- Any activity close/near or into the river is at your own risk.
- The flying of drones is strictly prohited on grounds.
- Please notify the management with any concerns or idea’s.
Cancelling your reservation on the day of or 7 days prior to arrival will result in no refund. Cancelling your reservation 8 to 14 days prior to arrival, you will be refunded half of your total stay. Cancellations 15 or more days will receive a full refund minus a $15 processing fee.
There will be no refunds after you have checked in, for inclement weather, failure to follow the Rules & Regulations, or disorderly conduct. Manager/Owner reserves the right to have discretion on all refunds.
Covid-19 Policy: Please follow all federal, province, and local health guidelines.
Management shall not be held liable or responsible for non-utilization of package components or loss of recreational opportunities due to weather or any other circumstances beyond our control.
Camp Kootenay River or its management bears no responsibility for any loss or damage to any person or property, or thing howsoever caused.
The management reserves the right to evict any day user, guest, camper or group of campers for any cause.
