Bonnyville RV Park

Our Camping Rules and Policies

Welcome to Bonnyville RV Park!  We work hard to ensure that all our guests feel welcome, safe, and have an enjoyable stay.  Please read the following information, which outlines the rules and conditions which, you as our guest, are agreeing to:

  • Quiet Time: 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM, please be considerate of your fellow campers. No loud music, fireworks, yelling, foul language or nude dancing is permitted. Keep it family friendly!

  • Visitors: A limited number of visitors (3) to your campsite are welcome until 11.00 pm.  You are responsible for their actions and behavior. Please advise them of this! Visitor vehicles may not be parked in vacant sites.

  • Alcohol and Cannabis Consumption: The responsible consumption of alcohol and cannabis is permitted on your site only.

  • Cigar and Cigarette Smoking: A special note to smokers. Please confine smoking to your site and dispose of smoking materials in a proper fire proof container. It is essential that no butts are discarded in the park as they are highly toxic to bird wildlife and create unsightly litter.

  • Pets: Maximum two pets.  All pets must be kept on a leash or in a pen at all times, except for the fenced dog park area. Excessive barking will not be tolerated. Owners are required to clean up after their pet immediately, anywhere on the property. Please carry a disposal bag when walking your pet. Pets are not allowed to interfere with other people’s enjoyment of the campground; vicious dogs of any size will not be allowed to stay. Dogs taller than 20” in height, need approval of the management prior to your arrival.

  • Pet Etiquette:  Keep your dogs on a leash and off other occupied rental sites. Ensure your dog is friendly and properly socialized before using the dog park area. Avoid people who only like cats.

  • Security: If problems occur on or around your campsite that are making your stay unpleasant, or if camping rules are being broken, please contact the manager.  Criminal activity should be reported to the proper authorities or by dialing 911.

  • Check-In & Check-Out: RV check-in is 1:00 PM, check-out at 11:00 AM.  Extensions of up to 2 hours may be granted at the discretion of management.

  • Occupancy: Only 1 RV unit per site. A children’s tent (16 years or under) may be set up if authorized by management. The RV must be parked with the boundaries of the site and the tow vehicle must be parked within the confines of the site as well. Sites must be kept orderly and tidy. Tarps are discouraged. Generators are not permitted unless there is a general power failure.

  • Garbage: Please dispose of your normal household garbage (no appliances, propane tanks, etc.) in the dumpsters located in the RV park. Do not leave garbage bags outside your unit as it will attract local wildlife potentially creating a safety risk for or guests and the animals. Burning garbage in fire pits is strictly prohibited. Recycling bins for bottles, cans and cardboard are located near the laundry facilities.

  • Speed Limit: 20 km/h maximum, slower in areas where there are children or seniors present. Remember children may not be paying attention to vehicles and seniors may not hear or see you. Roads are shared.

  • Grounds and Greenery: Please refrain from placing anything on or near trees, grass or flowers that may damage the beauty and appeal of the park.

  • Repairs: No repairs that involve oils, grease, coolant or any hazardous products are permitted anywhere on the property.  Emergency RV repairs necessary to move the unit (stuck slide or failed landing gear for example) should be completed by a reputable mobile RV repair service. (see the office for advice or assistance).

  • Sewer Hook-Up: RV must use a 90-degree elbow to prevent odors. All grey and black water must be discharged in the septic system. Campers must address leaks and/or spillage immediately.

  • Campfires: Please ensure your campfire is under control at all times and never left unattended. Campfires may be enjoyed until midnight and then be fully extinguished. Occupants are to abide by any fire bans that are in effect. Propane fire pits are considered to be in the same category as gas BBQ’s and may continue to be used responsibly until quiet time.

  • Wildlife: Bonnyville and the Lakeland area is noted for its incredible abundance of birds and four-legged wildlife. Keep all food, garbage and shiny items you would not want to lose out of sight and smell.
