We will use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request, e.g. to reserve a site.

Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via email in the future to tell you about specials, new products or services, or changes to this privacy policy.

Orders:

We request information from you on our order form. To make a purchase or reserve a campsite, you must provide contact information (like name and shipping address) and financial information (like credit card number, expiration date). This information is used for billing purposes and to fill your orders. If we have trouble processing an order, we'll use this information to contact you.

Cookies:

We use "cookies" on this site. A cookie is a piece of data stored on a site visitor's hard drive to help us improve your access to our site and identify repeat visitors to our site. For instance, when we use a cookie to identify you, you would not have to log in a password more than once, thereby saving time while on our site. Cookies can also enable us to track and target the interests of our users to enhance the experience on our site. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information on our site.

Surveys:

From time-to-time our site requests information via surveys. Participation in these surveys is completely voluntary and you may choose whether or not to participate and therefore disclose this information. Information requested may include contact information (such as name and shipping address), and demographic information (such as zip code, age level). Survey information will be used for purposes of monitoring or improving the use and satisfaction of this site.

Making Reservations

Reservation Deposits: We charge a one-night deposit fee for all advance reservations.

People per Campsite: One reservation per family per campsite. A family includes parents and their dependent children. For adults camping without children, up to 4 adults are allowed per campsite. NOTE: Your registration includes your camping unit and 1 vehicle.

Cancellation: To cancel a reservation and receive a refund of your deposit fee (less $10 for processing), notice must be received according to the following schedule:        

- Campsites-7 days before scheduled arrival (by 1pm)

- Holiday Weekends for all sites -2 weeks before scheduled arrival

No deposit refunds are given after these deadlines, or after arrival and/or registration.

Site Preferences: We will note your site preference but WILL NOT guarantee specific sites without a Premium Reservation.                                                   

Policies

Check-in time: Campsites check-in at 1:00pm, Early Check-in subject to availability.

Check-out time: Check-out is by 12:00pm. Late check-out for campsites must be pre-approved.

Quiet Hours: 11pm-8am  

Driving in the Park: Driving in the park has the same rules as driving on public roads, including speeding (posted 5 mph), reckless driving, and driving under the influence. Violations may result in eviction.

Children: A campsite must be occupied by at least one responsible adult when children are present. All children must return to their campsite by 11pm.

Pets: Pets must be declared at registration, proof of shots are required. Aggressive dogs will be evicted. Pets must be kept on a leash and not left unattended. Please keep pets quiet. Clean up after your pets. If you leave your site, take your pets with you or keep them in your RV.

Visitors: All visitors must register at the office upon arrival. Visitor’s fee is $5 per person. All visitors must leave by 9pm.

Trash and recyclables must be deposited in provided containers above site #20.

Campfires: Build campfires in provided fire rings only. DO NOT MOVE OR MODIFY FIRE RINGS. Only NY DEC-approved firewood may be brought into the park. Campfires must be extinguished by midnight.

Bicycles: No Bike riding after dusk. Bicycles are not permitted on sidewalks, decks, or inside buildings. All State laws apply.

Golf Carts & other Motorized Vehicles: Guest-owned golf carts must be approved by management, ATV's, and other unlicensed vehicles ARE NOT ALLOWED.

Alcohol: Please do not drive with open containers. Intoxication may result in eviction without refund.

Conduct: Please respect the rights of other guests who desire a quiet restful stay. Disorderly conduct, drunkenness, obscene language, or loud music (anytime) will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to evict without refund. 

Back-Achers Campsites Inc. Waiver of Liability The undersigned hereby waive, release and forever discharge Back-Achers Campsites Inc., its affiliates, managers, members, agents, attorneys, employees, staff, volunteers, heirs, executors, administrators, representatives, predecessors, successors and assigns from any claims resulting from physical or personal injury, pain, suffering, illness, disfigurement, temporary or permanent disability, loss or death, and any property damage that may occur caused by fire, theft, vandalism, water or land-related accidents, natural events or any other occurrences or mishaps. We are here of our free will, and entirely at our own risk. We understand that these injuries or outcomes may arise by our own or others’ negligence or conditions on the premises or the conditions or our use of amenities offered at the premises or related to travel to and from the premises. Nonetheless, we assume all related risks, both known and unknown. Back-Achers Campsites Inc. is not responsible for errors, omissions, acts or failures to act of any party or entity conducting a specific event or activity. I fully understand that this is a release of liability and I agree to voluntarily give up or waive any right that I otherwise have to bring legal action against Back-Achers Campsites Inc., for any personal injury or property damage whatsoever for negligence on the part of Back-Achers Campsites Inc. its agents and employees. This waiver and release of liability shall remain in effect for the duration of my presence at the premises. We further agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Back-Achers Campsites Inc., against any and all claims, suits or actions of any kind whatsoever for liability, damages, compensation or otherwise brought by me or anyone on my behalf, including attorney’s fees and any related costs.

 

THE SWIMMING FACILITIES AT Back-Achers Campsites are not supervised by a lifeguard or other responsible person. In place of on-site supervision, this facility has established a series of safeguards to be followed by all guests. We are required to notify you of these rules, to ensure that water rescue equipment is at the pool or beachside and that the swimming area is maintained in a sanitary manner. In the interest of your safety and that of your guests, we require you to follow these rules. Please read the safety rules located at the entrance and outlined in this brochure. If you have any questions, we will be happy to discuss them with you. NEVER SWIM ALONE. A minimum of two adults 18 years of age or older, must be present whenever this swimming facility is in use, with at least one adult on the pool deck or beachfront. THERE IS NO SUBSTITUTE FOR ADEQUATE SUPERVISION. Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied to the bathing facility by a parent or guardian, or similar adult responsible for their safety and behavior. IN AN EMERGENCY, NOTIFY THE FACILITY OPERATOR AND CONTACT HELP IMMEDIATELY. A free telephone is provided at this facility. Telephone numbers for the nearest emergency medical service are posted. Only use this facility during posted hours of operation and swim only in the designated bathing area. Don’t drink alcohol and swim. Injuries can be prevented and safety is everyone’s responsibility. If you notice any problems with the water quality or the absence of safety equipment, please notify the office staff. By agreeing to these terms you aware of these rules.
