Campground Policies Terms and Conditions

Please review prior to your stay
 

Check in/Check out:

  • All vehicles must check in at the camp office upon arrival, unless you are doing a "Virtual Check-In" after 9pm Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.  Guests checking in Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesdays may be required to do a virtual Check-In if an attendant is not avaialable. (instructions to do so will be emailed to you).

  •  There will be no parking assistance available after 9pm on Fridays, Saturday, or Sunday.  There may be no parking assistance on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday during the season. Valid Driver’s License and Proof of Insurance required. One vehicle per site, additional vehicles must be parked in designated areas. No parking in sites that “appear” to be vacant., no parking in grass areas next to your site during the months of April and May, anyone doing this and creating ruts on the property will be charged $50 for the violation. 

  • No overnight guests unless they are listed on the reservation.

  • Check In: 3:00-9:00 at the office Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Anytime after 9:00pm, or on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday with virtual check-in.

  • Check Out:12:00pm.

  • No more than 2 tents, or 1 tent and 1 RV per site. Pricing includes 6 people per site. Additional people are $10.00 each per night.

Refund Policy:

  • Full refunds are available as long as you cancel 2 weeks, or more, prior to your reservation. 

  •  A processing fee of $8.00 will be charged for the cancelation.  

  • Any cancellation within the 2 week window, but at least 72 hours before reservation, will receive campground credit for the full amount of the stay. 

  •  This credit can be used within 12 months of original stay. After 12 months the credit will be removed from the guests account. 

  • A processing fee of $8.00 will be charged to accommodate the reservation change.

  • Any cancellation made inside of 72 hours of scheduled stay will not receive a refund. 

  • This is due to the heavy volume of requests for stays, and the inability of the campground to potentially book another stay in such a short time frame.  

  • Any deposits collected will be credited toward your stay once you check in.  

  • Deposits are non-refundable even if you cancel within 2 weeks of your stay.  We will honor your deposit toward another stay as long as the next stay is within 12 months of the date of your first stay.

Driving In Campground:

  • Speed limit is 5 mph

  • Bicycles must be ridden on roads only, not in grass or pool area. 

  • Bicycles are not permitted on roads after dark. 

  • Big Sycamore Family Campground or Everstar Outdoor, LLC is not responsible for injuries resulting from riding Bicycles on the property, during daylight or night time hours. 

Quiet Time:

  • Quiet time is from 11:00 pm – 8:00 am.

  • Anyone violating quiet time hours can be asked to leave the property with no refund.

Alcohol/Drugs:

  • Alcoholic Beverages must be kept at your site only. NO GLASS.

  • Public Intoxication will not be tolerated. 

  • Violators of this rule will be escorted off of property by the Hocking County Sheriff Department, with no refund for the stay. 

  • No Illicit drugs, firearms (except during Hunting Seasons), or fireworks are permitted. 

  • Any Firearms brought onto the property during Hunting Seasons must remain in vehicle or camper, and secured in a lockbox, gun safe, or some other secured method. 

  • Anyone violating this policy WILL be immediately removed from the property.  Violation will result in no refund given. 

  • Fighting will not be tolerated. If a fight occurs, ALL parties will be escorted off of the property.

 

Playground:

  • All minors must be supervised by their parent, legal guardian, or a designated adult while playing on the playground.   

  • Big Sycamore Family Campground, or Everstar Outdoor, LLC is not responsible for or liable for any injuries sustained by any persons while playing on or around the playground. 

Pets:

  • Pets are welcome, but must be kept on a leash no longer than 6 feet at all times. 

  • Pets must never be left unattended. 

  • You MUST clean up after your pet. 

  • No pets in Shower House or Pool Area. 

  • Any excessive barking or howling could result in you being asked to remove your pet from the campground.

 

Pool:

  • The pool is available to guests from Memorial day through Labor day. 

  • Access to the pool area is not authorized from October through April.  

  • Anyone trying to access the pool from October through April will be asked to leave the park with no refund. 

  • All children under 14 MUST be accompanied by an adult in the pool area.

  • There can be no diving, running, or horseplay in the pool area. 

  • There can be no food, smoking, or glass bottles of any kind in the pool area.

  • There is no lifeguard on duty, please swim at your own risk.  

  • Big Sycamore Family Campground, or Everstar Outdoor is not responsible for any injuries or death sustained while using the pool.  

Fires:

  • Fires are to be kept in fire rings. 

  • Moving fire rings is not allowed. Wood will be available at Camp Office. 

  • DO NOT burn trash or throw cans or glass into fire rings.

  • Fires are not authorized any time there is a "Posted" Fire ban in place at the campground.

Miscellaneous: 

  • No cutting of trees or shrubs. No chainsaws or power tools. 

  • No alterations of permanent structures are to be made.

  • Please keep your site clean! A $25.00 fee will be charged to your card if there is excessive trash or pet waste left on your site.

  • All buildings on property are non-smoking.

  • This includes the shower house and office.

 

REMEMBER: This campground is family friendly! PLEASE be respectful of your neighbors and the land. We want you to have a positive experience, and continue to visit Big Sycamore!

The property is privately owned.  We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone and will not be responsible for accidents or injury to our guests or for loss of money or valuables of any kind. 

Violation of any of these rules will result in removal from the campground, and/or legal action where applicable.
