CAMPGROUND POLICIES

We’ve established the following general campground policies to help ensure your safety and your enjoyment. Those who choose not to observe these guidelines can be asked to leave our park without any form of refund.

CHECK-IN 2 p.m. -- CHECK-OUT 12 p.m.

SPEED LIMIT: 5 mph

Please observe our speed limit to ensure the safety of all our guests. Speed limit will be enforced by Federal Law Enforcement. Violations will result in dismissal without refund.

QUIET TIME: 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Please be respectful of other campers. Many of your neighbors will be getting up early for fishing.

SITE OCCUPANCY:

Only one (1) RV is allowed per campsite. Extra vehicles and visitor vehicles must be checked in at office and parked in designated overflow parking area.

CHILDREN:

Guests are responsible for all behavior of children. All children under the age of 14 years must be accompanied by an adult 18 years or older.

CAMPFIRES:

Campfires in designated areas ONLY and are NOT permitted in campsites. Propane fire rings and barbeques will be allowed. All Guests are required to keep a Class A, B, C fire extinguisher for emergency.

PORTABLE GRILLS:

Only gas grills are allowed in the park. Wood or charcoal grills or smokers are NOT allowed.

FIREWORKS AND FIREARMS:

Use of firearms and fireworks prohibited on park property including BB, Airsoft, paint-ball and pellet guns.

PETS

Keep pets on leashes (six-foot maximum length) or inside and do not leave unattended. No excessive barking allowed. Pets must be walked by a responsible person to pick up after them immediately. Maximum of 2 Pets. Pets 40lbs or less ONLY allowed inside cabins.

WILDLIFE

Wildlife such as deer, antelope, otters, rabbits, osprey, etc. can be an enjoyable part of your stay. There are also less desirable or dangerous wildlife in the area such as skunks, coyotes, snakes, spiders, scorpions, etc. Since wild animals can be unpredictable, do not feed or approach wildlife and maintain a safe distance of 25’ when wildlife is present. Do not handle any wildlife and contact BMF management immediately if dangerous or possibly dangerous animals are spotted. See photos of common venomous / non-venomous snakes.

VISITORS

Your visitors are always welcome at Buckboard, provided they register at our main office. Registered guests and their visitors are expected to read and adhere to all campground rules presented at time of check-In. All your visitors must leave campground by 10 p.m.

RECREATIONAL VEHICLES

Motorized vehicles, ATVs, UTVs, scooters or golf carts are allowed in campground only for transportation from campsite to: Docks if Guest is renting a boat slip, store or outside of BMF facility only. Speed limits must be observed at all times. No riding during quiet time, between 10pm and 6am.

TRASH:

Please place all garbage in designated dumpsters located around the park. Break down any boxes before placing in dumpster. Do not leave garbage outside in campsite unless stored in a hard-sided trash container.

SEWER

Ground disposal of any drain water (gray or black) is prohibited by State Law. Wastewater from RVs (including sink water) must be disposed of into sewer drains. Do not put grease down the sewer.

Sewer connections are required by state law and must have a tight seal by a sewer donut (or sewer ring) or a screw-type connector.

Grounds for eviction from the park without refund

FORMS OF PAYMENT

We accept all major credit cards, cash or money orders. Checks will be accepted for monthly or longer stays.

CANCELLATIONS/REFUNDS

CAMP CREDIT:  Charges/deposits paid for cancelled reservations will automatically transfer to camp credit for future stays.

We will credit your deposit in full for a future stay if you cancel EIGHT (8) or more days prior to your arrival date. If you cancel less than SEVEN (7) days of your arrival date 90% of your deposit will be credited.

REFUND:

We will return your deposit minus a 10% service charge if you cancel EIGHT (8) or more days prior to your arrival date. If you cancel less than SEVEN (7) days of your arrival date your full deposit is forfeited.  

Guests failing to contact us to cancel their reservation within the required time, listed above will be considered a no show and subject to the same cancellation policies.

DEPOSITS

One night’s rate taken when reservation is made 30 days or more in advance for stays less that 1 week.  Weekly and longer stays can be booked with a 50% deposit.

CLEANING / DAMAGE DEPOSIT

Campsites, Cabins, Boat Slips, Storage Sites will be clean and in working order upon your arrival. Please inform BMF management immediately if it is not. Please use risers if levelling is needed. Do not dig holes anywhere in gravel or grass areas. Clean up trash and remove all hoses, stairs, and any structures upon departure. BMF reserves the right to charge a fee for cleaning and/or repairing damage to camp site.

MANAGEMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE, LIMIT THE LENGTH OF STAY AND THE NUMBER OF PERSONS OR VEHICLES PER SITE AND/OR EVICT ANY PERSON OR PARTY WITHOUT REFUND.

CAMPING IS AN OUTDOOR EXPERIENCE, THEREFORE WE DO NOT GIVE REFUNDS DUE TO WHIMS OF MOTHER NATURE!

RULES: I agree to read and comply with all rules in this agreement and the following two documents available in the resort office. It is my responsibility to secure a listing of all Rules and Regulations. BMF may change rules from time to time as needed.

AUTHORIZED VEHICLES & OCCUPANTS: The only RV, vehicles, and occupants allowed to stay at my site are those listed in this agreement. Any changes must be authorized by BMF.

INSURANCE: GUEST agrees to carry my own liability and comprehensive insurance and vehicle registration during the term of this Agreement. I will furnish proof of insurance to BMF. Buckboard Marina at Flaming Gorge LLC shall be listed as an additional insured.

VISITORS: GUEST may host up to two (2) free visitors per day. Each visitor must register and display a pass; must park their vehicle as determined by BMF in GUEST’s site or Guest Parking; and must be in my company. Each additional visitor beyond two (2) will be charged the standard Extra Person fee unless approved in advance by BMF. A visitor is not allowed to stay overnight unless authorized by BMF
and BMF reserves the right to charge a fee for an overnight visitor.

EXTRA VEHICLES: Any boat, trailer, ATV or any other vehicle beyond two per site are subject to  storage fee and can only be stored with a signed Storage Agreement. BMF reserves the right to allow an extra vehicle and determine where that vehicle is parked, either on GUEST site or in areas designated for extra vehicles. All vehicles require proof of insurance and valid registration and must be in name of site occupant.

UTILITIES:

SEWER: Sewer hook-up is available in all GUEST sites. No chemicals will be used in my tank. GUEST will use ONLY RV toilet paper in my RV and will maintain the proper amount of chemicals in my black tank. I understand that should my RV cause the sewer pumping machinery to fail that I will be held responsible for ALL labor, parts, and repair costs.

WATER: Water hookup is available at the site during spring/summer season only.

ELECTRICAL: An electrical receptacle is available at the site. Electricity is included in the monthly camping fee.

APPEARANCE: To help maintain an aesthetically pleasing environment
a. BMF limits vehicle age for extended stay (longer than 2 weeks). Without prior approval, an RV more than 10 years old is not permitted for extended stay.
b. RV must be in good condition, washed on a regular basis, and well maintained.
c. Please use risers if levelling is needed. Do not dig holes anywhere in gravel or grass areas. Wheel chocks required for securing all trailers, do not use rocks.
d. GUEST’s campsite shall remain neat and orderly at all times.
e. Storage of material of any type under a vehicle is strictly prohibited. Site must remain free from trash and unused items other than a patio table, chairs, BBQ grill, umbrella and/or awning.
f. No structure shall be erected in campsite unless approved by BMF. GUEST agrees to remove or disassemble anything built or erected on site if requested by BMF.

RECOVERY OF UNPAID BILLS: GUEST acknowledges that BMF is hereby given a lien upon RV and vehicles listed in this agreement to secure all site rental fees, repairs, hardware, materials, labor or services rendered to or supplied to GUEST during the terms of this Agreement. Any item left on BMF’s property 15 days beyond the expiration of this Agreement will be offered for public sale to cover site rental charges.

DAMAGE/CLEANING FEE: GUEST authorizes BMF charge a Damage/Cleaning fee to my credit card on file to repair damage caused by me or to clean my site.

PERSONAL PROPERTY: I agree to release all interests and claims to ownership and possession to all personal property remaining on the site, or on BMF’s grounds, at 12:00 PM (noon) the day following termination of this Agreement. I agree that said left personal property shall become the property of BMF immediately and, as such, BMF, at its discretion, shall have the right to dispose of said personal property within twenty-four (24) hours.

LIABILITY: The use of BMF’s facilities is at the user’s own risk. BMF’s guests are responsible for their visitors. BMF assumes no responsibility or liability for the safety and security of RV tenants/campers/visitors. BMF is not responsible for loss or damage to RV tenants’ or camping guests’ property due to theft, vandalism, fire, any casualty, or act of God. Registered guests and all other users of this property expressly assume all risk of such loss or damage and must carry their own insurance.

DISCLAIMER: BMF provides its services, including but not limited to its sites, utilities, and amenities on an “as is” basis and makes no representations or warranties of any kind, either express or implied. By staying at or using BMF’s facilities, you agree to these terms and that under no circumstances will BMF be liable for direct, indirect, incidental or any other type of damages resulting from your use of any part of the campground or marina. This includes, but is no way limited to, loss or injury caused in whole or in part by negligence or things beyond our control.

INDEMNIFICATION: RV tenant and/or camping guest shall indemnify and hold harmless BMF, its officers, and employees as well as Ashley National Forest/US Forest Service from all claims, liability, and expenses, including but not limited to attorney and other professional fees, for injury to persons, loss of life, or damage to property arising out of the tenant’s exercise of his rights hereunder.

RESERVATION OF RIGHTS: Buckboard Marina at Flaming Gorge is private property. BMF reserves the right to amend these rules without prior notice to residents or guests. BMF, at its discretion, reserves the right to refuse entry on the resort to any person and to evict current guests without a refund. BMF also reserves the right to refuse to accommodate current and returning guests that have violated our rules and regulations and /or have vacated the resort without paying all fees.
