Terms of Service

For the safety of everyone, please obey the park speed limit of 5 mph.

Maximum of 6 people per site unless authorized by management.

Only one RV and max of 2 cars per site. One additional tent is allowed for a maximum of 4 units per site. Additional parking available upon request. Tents must be removed when not in use to keep grass alive. No large canopy tents without permission from management. 

RV's should be in good condition and not older than ten years. Any RV over 10 years must submit a picture and be approved by management.

Your RV and campsite must be kept clean and neat in apperance with no unsightly iems. If not done within 7 days of notice, then managment reserves the right to have the work done at the owners expense. No permanent cloths lines are allowed.

Any add on structure to seasonal sites must be pre-approved by the Department of Health, management, and meet town zoning laws. No bulding of decks, patios, or any other structures prior to all approvals. 

Boats and trailers must be parked in designated area. No boats and trailers on sites unless per-appoved by management.

For monthly and seasonal stays, electric meters will be read and billed at the rate of .30 per KWH on the 15th of the month and due on the 1st of the following month. Late charges apply. Bills will be emailed unless otherise requested.

Check in time is 1:00pm

RV Checkout time is 12:00pm.

Cabin checkout time is 11am.

Quiet hours are 10 pm to 8 am.

Seasonal camper is responsible to inform and enforce campgound policies with any visitor and is responsible for their behavior at all times. Seasonal campers must be present when visitors are on site.

Restrooms and showers must be left clean after use. Do not wash dishes, clothes, pets, etc. in restrooms/bath houses. Do not smoke in restrooms. Report any issues with faclities to managment immediately.

Children must be supervised and with an adult at all times, including the playground and bathhouse. You are responsible for the behavior and actions of the children with you. Children are not permitted to play on the docks. Any person under 18 is not allowed to stay in the campground or campsite without a parent, legal guardian, or responsible adult.

No more than 3 pets per site. Pets must be on leash at all time and under control by an adult. Pets can not be unattended or tied outside alone. You must clean up after your pet. You must have proper licenses and rabies vaccinations. Pets may not interfere with the peace of the other guests. If your pet is disturbing others, you will be asked to control your pet. If you do not comply and the disturbance continues, you will be asked to leave without a refund. We do not allow aggressive behavior. If your pet becomes aggressive towards guests, or other pets, you will be asked to leave. 

Please place garbage in dumpster located by the office. No appliances, TV's, furniture, mattresses, etc in dumpster. Cardboard boxes must be broken down.

No firearms, BB or pellet guns, fireworks, or explosives of any kind allowed on park property.  No political signs or flags, underage drinking, loud parties, reckless behavior, disorderly conduct, alcohol off campsite, mopeds, 3 or 4 wheelers, or mini bikes. If police are called by management or another camper due to disruptive behavior, the camper or campers will be asked to leave immediately. No refunds in these circumstances.

Golf carts must follow speed limit. Operator must be an adult and cart must be driven on road or approve path only.

Docks: Swimming is Not allowed. Fishing is allowed at your own risk, please be courtious of the boats parked on the docks. Adult must accompany children 12 and under. 

Campfires must be in rings/pits, never leave unattended, adult must be present at all fires. Extinguish fires before turning in for the night or leaving campgound. Firewood is available for sale at the office. Per NYS law, firewood from outside the park is required to come from within 50 miles. Never cut trees or branches from trees within the park.

Chaumont River RV Park & Campground reserved the right to move sites when nessesary. 

Cancellations made 14 or more days prior to arrival date are charged a $25 cancellation fee and refunded the difference.

Cancellations made less than 14 days prior to arrival date are not refunded.

No refund for early departures or inclement weather.

All guests must supply the park with a credit card to be put on file. In the event that a guest leaves and has a balance due on their account the credit card on file will be charged with the balance.

Removal of RV's or other seasonal campers personal property due to non payment or failure to abide by these policies and rules, will be done at the campers expense. Additional fees will be charged for transporting, cleaning of site, removal of debris and garbage, disposal of property, use of tractor/trucks, and labor for all work done. CRRVP and Chaumont River Holding LLC reserve the right to hold or have a storage facility hold RV/campers until the owed amount is paid and storage will be an additional incurred expense.

Report any maintenance problem to the management immediately. For emergencies please call 315-420-3960 (or 911 when approprate).

We are not responsible in the case of theft of RV or contents thereof, or for any damages caused by natural causes (ie: tree fallin), nor for any damages caused by any other reason. All activities at the campground are done at individuals free will and Chaumont River RV Park and Campground, and Chaumont River Holding LLC will not be responsible for injuries to campers or guests nor for loss of money/valuables of any kind.

The licensee accepts camping privileges with the understanding that he/she does hereby release, indemnify, and hold harmless, the Chaumont River RV Park and Campground, Chaumont River Holding LLC, its officers, and their family members, fellow campers and employees of all liability for loss or damaged to property, and injury whatsoever, freeze up within camping unit, and injury to his/her person arising out of his/her use of camping facilities and agrees to indemnify the campground, the company its officers, family members, fellow campers and employees, against claims resulting from loss of damage to property or injury to the person or any member of the family, guest of the lessee arising out of the use of the camping facilities. All campers are advised that failure to comply with CRRVP agreement and polices and rules will result in termination of the camper's contract and discontinuation of camping privileges without refund. All rules and policies are subject to changes without notice. 

I agree to pay for any damages to campground property, sites, buildings, facilities, equipment which may occur by the actions of myself or my party. Signed contract/agreement acknowledges that the camper has read and understood the above policies, rules and regulations and agrees to adhere to them.
