Terms of Service

ALL GUESTS  must check in online upon arrival.

SPEED LIMIT: 10 K.P.H. throughout the park.

*All sewer caps and water caps must be secure to prevent leakage!

PARKING: Up to 2 vehicles per site. Vehicles must be parked on assigned site and may not block any other sites.  Limited overflow parking areas available.

VERY IMPORTANT: Fire bans may be in effect and will be posted clearly by the office. Violating a fire ban is grounds for eviction!

FIRES: Fire rings may not be moved! Maintain fires at a safe level and do not leave fire unattended. Please make sure fires are fully extinguished upon check-out. All fires must be out by 12:00 AM midnight.

FIREWOOD:  DO NOT bring firewood from over a 50 km radius to prevent the spread of insect infestations. Buy it where you burn it!

NO CUTTING OR DISFIGURING OF TREES! We want our trees healthy and growing for everyone to enjoy!

PROHIBITED! Use of drones, firearms, weapons and fireworks are prohibited on the property! 

TRASH & RECYCLING:  Please take your garbage with you!  Please leave site as clean as you found it.  Firepits are not trash cans – only paper/cardboard may be burned.

CHILDREN: Parents are responsible for the conduct of their children at all times. Direct adult supervision of all children under 14 is required after dark and under 10 at all times around the campground. Persons under 18 years old are not allowed to camp or stay on property without adult supervision.

PLEASE BE CONSIDERATE OF YOUR NEIGHBORS! Do not walk through other campsites and keep noise/music to a respectful volume. Quiet hour is midnight – 8am. Generators cannot be started before 8am and must be off by midnight.

PETS: Must be leashed and properly restrained at all times. Please pick up after your pet! Pets should not be left unattended outside or in vehicles.

SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK. No lifeguards provided. No swimming in posted area. The river is unsupervised by the park staff and is to be used at your own risk. Children must be supervised by a caretaker at all times of being in or near the river.

NO GLASS BOTTLES IN PARK. The environment is too precious. One broken bottle in the river or in our sites makes them unsafe for wildlife, our campers and our staff. This includes glass bottles being near and in the river. They are strictly prohibited.

Liability Waiver.

All guests are required to agree to Church Point Campground's current liability waiver in order to vacation with us.

This Liability Waiver states that You (also referred to as the “Camper” and/or “Party”) release and waive Church Point Campground (also referred to as the “Staff”, “Owners”, “Us” and/or “We”) from all liability associated with camper or camping damage, loss or injury. You are choosing to agree to these terms by completing your booking with us at our Church Point Campground, located at 164 Bonnenfant Road, Church Point, Nova Scotia, Canada, through this CampoSpot Reservation Platform or otherwise. 

By completing your booking with us, online or otherwise, you are agreeing to the statement that all members of the party residing at Church Point Campground under your reservation do not have any physical limitations, medical ailments, physical or mental disabilities that would limit or prevent them from safely residing on our grounds for the duration of your designated stay, pertaining to but is not limited to rough terrains, forested terrain, slippery and/or uneven pathways, bodies of water, open fires, varied wildlife, biting insects and other guests. By completing your booking, you are agreeing to hold harmless Church Point Campground, its staff and/or owners, for any and all injuries that occur to any persons while on the park property. The Camper also acknowledges and agrees to waive all liability of losses and/or damages pertaining to their property during their stay on Church Point Campground grounds.
