Terms of Service
Your site number is subject to change prior to arrival without notice, only the site type is guaranteed unless a lock site fee is paid.
Payment: Full payment will be processed at time of booking.
Minimum Check In Age: The minimum age for a guest to check-in is 18.
Check-in: On the day of your arrival, check-in starts at 1pm for RV sites and 3pm for Cabins.
Check-out: On the last day of your stay, check-out is 11AM for RV sites and 10am for Cabins. If you wish to stay additional nights, please check with the office by 10am to inquire about extending your stay.
Cancellations: Permitted up to 30 days before your arrival. For cancellations made more than 30 days prior to your arrival, your payment, minus a $25 cancellation fee, will be returned to your credit card. No refunds will be issued for cancellations less than 30 days before check in.
USE AT OWN RISK; INDEMNIFICATION: By making your booking, guests hereby waive, release, indemnify, hold harmless and forever discharge Summerhill Resorts Ltd. and any of its affiliates, contractors, present/former and future supervisors, staff, officers, employees, representatives, agents for any and all liability, claims, lawsuits, actions, suits or demands, whether known or unknown, in law or equity, by an individual of any age, or any corporation or other entity, for any and all loss, personal injury, accidents, real or personal property damage, theft, expenses (including legal fees, costs and other expenses for investigation and defense in connection with, among other proceedings, alternative dispute resolution, trial and appellate proceedings) or any other claim arising out of or in connection with the guests’ use of the rental property or any harm of any kind or nature arising out of, or in connection with, the participation in the use of any on site amenities or activities (meaning use of the amenities or engagement in any contest, game, function, exercise, competition, sport, events or other activity operated, organized, arranged or sponsored by Summerhill Resorts Ltd., its contractors or third parties authorized by Summerhill), by said patron, guest or other person, and any of his or her guests and any members of his or her family.
Damage Deposit: Those booking a Cabin will have a damage deposit of $250 pre-authorized to a credit card at check-in. The pre-authorization hold will be released at check-out, however, please be advised that it can take up to 10 business days for the funds to be cleared by the credit card financial institution. In the unlikely event that guests willfully or negligently damage the property, the deposit will be withheld in full and applied to all repair and replacements costs. Should the costs exceed the deposit, the full cost will be applied to the pre-authorized credit card.
Pet rules: We are a pet-friendly resort, but pets must be walked on a leash, cleaned up after and may not disturb other guests. Pets are the responsibility of the owner. Management reserves the right to restrict disruptive or aggressive breeds. Upon check-in, please notify the office of your pets as you may be required to sign a Pet Agreement. No pets permitted in the Cabins.
Respect your Neighbor: We encourage a safe and respectful environment for your enjoyment and those around you. Abusive or aggressive behaviour will not be tolerated and can result in guests being asked to leave without refund.
Quiet hours: 10pm-8am. Quiet conversation around the campfire is welcome as long as you are not disturbing other guests. Loud music, noise and parties will not be tolerated at any time. Guests must leave the park by 10pm
Vehicles: Please obey posted speed limits and be aware of children in the park. Vehicles must be properly parked at all campsites. Only one recreational unit is allowed to be parked at your campsite. DO NOT PARK ON GRASS.
Water Usage: In order to conserve our natural resources, water sprinklers, sprayers and the washing of RVs and trailers are not permitted at any time. The use of pressure washers or the continuous use of a hose are also not permitted.
Firewood: Please note that no outside firewood is permitted at the resort. Firewood is available for purchase at the store.
Campfires: Small campfires must be contained within the fire pit. Fires must be attended at all times and extinguished when leaving at the end of the night. Do not move fire pits or picnic tables from your site. Propane fire pits and BBQ’s can be used in other areas. Firewood is available at the store. Cutting or removal of trees is not permitted
Pool Rules: Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Use of pool is at your own risk and there is no lifeguard on duty. Children in diapers must wear health department swim diapers (available at the resort store).
Bikes/Rollerblades/Scooters: To be used at a safe speed, be in control at all times and be careful of pedestrians. Not allowed in any building, on sidewalks, or parked on the sidewalk in front of the store. Use bike racks where available. Please note, all children and adults who will be bringing a bicycle must wear a CSA approved helmet while riding within the park.
