Terms of Service

These rules and regulations were established to maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and maintenance, and with a “Good Neighbor Policy” in mind.

CHECK-IN LOCATION – For Campground Check-in, campers must go to the Office located at the Ditto Landing Fuel Dock. Directions to Office: When you pull into Ditto Landing's new entrance, head straight until you reach a STOP sign then turn RIGHT and follow the path until you reach a YIELD sign then veer to the left and the Office will be the Fuel Dock building floating on the water.

CAR PASS DISPLAY -- The Car Pass given to you when you registered must be prominently displayed on the windshield of registered vehicle or other location where it can be readily seen by Ditto Landing personnel. You will be required to show Car Pass to the guard to enter the campground after 8:00 p.m.

DEPOSIT -- A reservation deposit is required to make a reservation and may be done with a Visa, Discover, MasterCard or American Express. We do not accept personal checks. Reservations are accepted up to one year to the day in advance of arrival. Specific sites are reserved on a first-come, first reserved basis. We try to honor all requests for specific sites but do reserve the right to change site numbers. To avoid any misunderstandings, you will be charged for the number of nights of your reservation, so please check your dates carefully. All site damages or excessive cleaning will be charged to the credit card provided to us for the deposit by the lessee. Sites reserved 14 days or more in advance have a two-night minimum. Holidays are a three to four night minimum.

CANCELLATION POLICY -- If site is canceled 14 days prior to your arrival date the deposit will be refunded minus a $10.00 per site cancellation fee. If less than 14 days prior to your arrival the deposit is non-refundable. Early departures and no shows due to weather or any other reason will not receive a refund. If you do not show up for your reservation you will be charged the entire amount of the reservation. The individual whose name is on the reservation must confirm all reservation changes.

CHECK-IN -- is from 1:00 pm to Office Closing. Early arrival could result in unnecessary waiting. Late check-ins must call to make prior arrangements and pay the balance due in full with the office. Call for closing hours as these vary. There will be no check-ins after 9:00 pm. After that time, you must wait until the following day when the office opens. For your convenience, you may pay the balance owed for your site by cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express. Before entry to the park is permitted, the registered lessee must be present. The lessee must pay for all sites, including multi-site reservations, in full with one payment form at check-in.

CHECK-OUT -- is PRIOR to 11:00 am.

OCCUPANCY -- Sites hold a maximum of 4 adults and 4 children. Maximum occupancy noncompliance will result in eviction. There must be at least one person 18 and older staying on the site.

FULL HOOKUP SITES -- Sites 101-141 must have an RV on site, No stand-alone tents.

RV/TENT SITES -- There is a maximum of 2 tents, or one RV and one tent allowed on Sites 1-33. No tents between Nov 1st to March 1st. Tent Reservations have 5 day MAXIMUM booking.

QUIET TIME -- is from 10:00 pm to 7:00 am. There will be no check-ins during this time. Sounds carry farther at night. Please be considerate of others. Loud noise/music, etc. must be confined in your RV at all times. Loud or abusive language will not be tolerated. Eviction will result without any refunds. FIREWORKS ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED. NO VISITORS ALLOWED AFTER 10:00 PM.

LENGTH OF STAY – Sites can only be booked for a maximum of two weeks online.  Ditto Landing offers extended stay for RVs with completed application for a definitive departure date (subject to availability).  Please contact the office for an extended stay application.  Ditto Landing campgrounds are a recreational camping facility – all campers must provide a recognized PERMANENT home address upon booking their site (including extended stay).  Ditto Landing IS NOT A RESIDENTIAL FACILITY.  Ditto Landing does not offer a monthly rate for campers and all weekly and daily agreements are subject to cancellation if campers do not follow rules and instructions as addressed by Ditto Landing Management.

EMERGENCY AND SAFETY -- No illegal drugs. All weapons shall be kept in compliance with state/federal laws. No discharge or use of firearms in the park. No smoking in or around Ditto Landing buildings. Speed limit 10 mph. If you observe any activity you believe to be of concern, please contact the office (256) 882-1057 or after-hours security (256) 883-9420.

Campers must be able to move ALL OF THEIR PROPERTY with minimal advance notice in case of emergency.

VEHICLES AND SITE OCCUPANCY -- One RV per site. One passenger vehicle per site (Sites 1-33). Two passenger vehicles per site (Sites 101-141).  Boats and jet skis on trailers are included in the passenger vehicle count.  Utility/Car trailers must be parked in overflow parking spaces with car passes displayed. Do not park on road. No parking on grass, or adjacent/vacant sites. All vehicles must have a Car Pass to remain on Ditto Landing property overnight.

RV MAINTENANCE -- All RVs must be well maintained and in good condition. No vehicle repairs or maintenance may be done in the park unless approved by management. Roof tarps on RVs are prohibited. RVs are not to be skirted and usage of blocks to balance rig is prohibited. In case of an unexpected emergency, Campers must be able to move ALL OF THEIR PROPERTY with minimal advance notice. 

GROUND FIRES -- Ground fires are allowed in the provided fire rings only. All fires must be attended to at all times and be out by 12:30 am. Please make sure that your fire is fully put out before leaving it unattended.

CHILDREN -- are the responsibility of the parents and must be supervised at all times. You will be held responsible for your child's safety and actions. Children under 20 must be at their site under parental supervision from dark to 7am the next day.

GUESTS -- Campers are responsible for the action and safety of their children, guests, and for any damage caused by any and all members of their party.

SITE ACCOMODATIONS -- all RV and RV/tent sites include a fire ring, and some have picnic tables. RV sites 101-141 are also equipped with electricity (30/50 amp), water, and sewer. Tent/RV sites (1-33) are equipped with electric, water, access to the bathhouse, and access to a centrally located dump station.  Sites 1-10 and 17-26 have 30 amp electric service and sites 11-16, 27, 28, and 33 are equipped with 50 amp electric service.  Please request specific accommodations during reservation.

BATHHOUSE ACCOMMODATIONS & RULES -- Restroom keycards are for the exclusive use of registered campers and their personal guests. Sharing or Lending of restroom keycards is prohibited.

SMOKING -- is prohibited inside any buildings of Ditto Landing.

VEHICLES -- the maximum number of vehicles per site varies according to site size and size of camping unit. Sites 101-141 hold a maximum of 2 vehicles; Sites 1-33 hold a maximum of 1 vehicle. There is overflow parking available. All vehicles must be registered, and parking permits displayed.  Operators of motor vehicles must be of age and licensed as required by the laws of the State of Alabama.  Speed Limit in the campground areas is 5 mph – WATCH FOR CHILDREN.

ATVs and GOLF CARTS -- ATVs and golf carts are prohibited unless specifically permitted by management.

CLEANING -- each site must be kept free of loose materials that could cause litter. No trash should be left in the fire rings.  Burning of trash in fire rings is PROHIBITED.  Daily trash may be placed in dumpsters or left in tied garbage bags near the road by 9am each day and before checkout at 11am.

SUBLETTING/RENTING -- Subletting or renting of an RV is prohibited.

CLEANLINESS -- Cleanliness of the park is important to everyone. All trash should be bagged and taken to the dumpster or left along the road before 9am. Outdoor items should be neat and orderly. No outdoor appliances (i.e., freezer, refrigerators) of any kind. No storage of tires on site. Hazardous materials shall be discarded properly. Please leave park facilities as you would like to find them. If they need attention, notify the office.

RV SEWAGE -- Do not place feminine products, grease/fats, diapers, cat litter, paper towels, wet wipes, hazardous substances, syringes, or plastics down the drain/sewer. Use RV toilet paper. Holding tanks or sewer connections are mandatory for all sewage. Dumping of gray water & black water is strictly prohibited except in authorized locations (such as campground pump out or sewer hookup).

GRILLS/FIRES -- Gas/charcoal grills are allowed. Wood fires are allowed in fire rings only.  Fires and grill use may be restricted if mandated by Local or State authorities. Small fires are allowed in fire ring only. Please do not leave fires unattended and extenguish them properly after use. Do not put or burn your trash and/or cigarette butts in the fire ring.

OUTDOOR RESTRICTIONS -- No sheds, porches, decks, tarps, or utility buildings allowed. No tethering, spiking, or wrapping supports to the trees for tents, hammocks, etc. Equipment must be self-standing. 

LAUNDRY -- No clotheslines or hanging laundry outdoors. There are no laundry facilities at Ditto Landing – the closest laundromat is 24 Hour Laundromat, 11823 Suite D Memorial Pkwy SW, Huntsville, Alabama (256) 203-3896

PET RULES -- Up to two pets per site allowed. We reserve the right to refuse or require removal of any animal at any time. Cats are allowed but may not roam freely in the park. Dogs must be on a leash (6 feet or shorter) and under control of an adult at all times. Excessive barking is not allowed. Pet owners must immediately pick up after their pet and deposit waste in a bag and into the designated receptacles. A $25 fine will be assessed to the pet owner for each occurrence of improper disposal or cleanup. Aggressive animals will not be allowed in the park. You will be asked to leave with no refund if your pet shows any aggressive tendencies or complaints are verified. Pet fences are not allowed. Pets are not allowed in the bathhouse.  Pets may not be left outdoors unsupervised. Do not feed wild or stray animals.

SOLICITATION/PEDDLING/BUSINESS ENTERPRISE -- No peddling, soliciting or business enterprise is allowed in the park. Signs for the sale of products or services are not allowed.

DAMAGES AND PERSONAL LIABILITY -- Any guest or visitor that willfully or negligently damages or destroys park property, landscaping or equipment will be held liable for the value to repair or replace the damaged items property. The responsible party(s) may be evicted for willful damage.   

GUEST PROPERTY -- Guests use the Ditto Landing facilities at their own risk. Secure your valuables. Management assumes no liability for loss or damage to guest property and/or injury to person, pet, or party arising due to use of resort facilities or caused by others on the premises.  Ditto Landing is not responsible for loss or damage due to fire, accident, theft, weather, or catastrophic events.

LOST AND FOUND -- Any lost articles found in the campground or bathhouse should be turned into the Office located at the Ditto Landing Fuel Dock.

COMMON COURTESY -- Common courtesy shall prevail between all persons in the park. Respect the privacy of guests. Disorderly conduct, use of profane, abusive, harassing, or threatening language or actions directed at park personnel or other guests is unacceptable. Intoxication will not be tolerated and are grounds for dismissal from campground. And person(s) causing a nuisance will be asked to vacate the park.  

CRITTERS and HAZARDS – Ditto Landing is an outdoor recreation facility located near the Tennessee River, and insects are a part of the natural surroundings. We try to control this natural occurrence by regularly spraying for insects. The most common pests are flies, mosquitoes, and wasps. Please let the office know if a site has a problem with wasps' nests. We do not give refunds due to any pest discomfort issue. There are also trees, water, poisonous plants, and everything in-between in our beautiful area. Remember that wildlife such as geese, ducks, raccoons, squirrels, etc are not pets, please do not feed them or disturb them as they go about their lives at Ditto Landing.  Camping is an outdoor experience, and we are not responsible for accidents, injury, or loss of property of any kind. *ALL RATES AND POLICIES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE. *

SWIMMING AND NON-MOTORIZED WATER CRAFTS -- For your safety, swimming and non-motorized watercrafts are prohibited in the harbor.

FISHING RULES -- Fishing at Ditto Landing with a current Fishing License is allowed at designated fishing areas at Ditto Landing, for specifications of designated areas, information can be found inside the Office located inside the Fuel Dock. Tackles and bait are sold in the Fuel Dock Store, but the store does not provide or sell fishing rods. All campers or guests over the age of 15 must have a current fishing license on their person at all times when fishing.

RIGHT TO REFUSE/EVICT/DENY ACCESS -- Management reserves the right to refuse services, evict or deny access to anyone, under any circumstances it deems necessary, in accordance with applicable local, state, and federal laws. There will be no refunds.  

POLICY CHANGES -- Since every contingency cannot be covered in a set of rules, from time to time, modification may be necessary. Management reserves the right to make changes deemed necessary to these rules and regulations at any time, without prior notice.
