Liability Waiver and Hold Harmless Agreement

Guests and visitors recognize that there are inherent risks in camping and outdoor activities and will use Doe River Landing property and facilities at their own risk.

Guests and visitors agree to indemnify and hold Doe River Landing harmless from any liability, loss, or damage incurred on campground property.

 

General

  • All guests and visitors should exercise common sense and courtesy, respect other guests, and campground property.
  • Guests and visitors are responsible for any damage or injury caused by themselves, their children, and/or pets.
  • We reserve the right to refuse service or eject any person or party who do not comply with the rules and policies. No refund will be given to any ejected person or party.
  • All guests and visitors must register with the campground upon arrival.
  • Maximum of 8 (eight) over-night guests per site.
  • Maximum stay is 14 days.
  • Visitors are welcome at guest sites between 8 AM and 10 PM and must first register with the campground.
  • All trash must be placed in enclosed trash receptacles located throughout the campground. Do not leave trash out overnight.

 

Check-in and Check-Out

Check-In

  • Check-in time is 3 PM.
  • Guests are encouraged to use express check-in via Campspot. If you prefer to check-in in person, please stop at the Check-in Kiosk located in front of the office.
  • All RVs must be parked at their site before dark. If you are going to arrive after dark, you must call ahead so that we can assist you with parking without disturbing other guests.

Check-Out

  • Check out time is 10 AM.
  • Please plan to depart prior to check-out time to allow us to prepare the site for the next guest.

Early Check-In / Late Check-out:

  • Check in and check out times are strictly enforced unless arrangements are made in advance.

 

At your campsite

  • All sites are to be kept neat and clean during your stay.
  • Only 1 RV and 2 vehicles are allowed per site. Additional vehicles are $5/per day and may require parking in overflow parking area. All vehicles must be completely parked in the campsite and must not obstruct roadway. Guests are responsible for parking their RVs in a manner that allows them to open slides and canopies without hitting trees, rocks, pedestals, or water hydrants.
  • Our pedestals are designed to provide maximum 50 AMP service for a single RV. No electric vehicle charging or connecting other appliances to the pedestal.
  • Generators are not allowed except in case of a power outage.
  • Campfires are allowed only in designated fire rings and must not be left unattended. You are welcome to collect any dead wood that is already on the ground, purchase bundled firewood from the campground, or purchase commercially processed, heat-treated firewood. Burning trash, cigarette butts, or materials other than firewood is prohibited.
  • Prohibited items and activities: hot tubs, kiddie pools, inflatable pools, inflatable slides, clotheslines, tents, vehicle washing, oil changing, attaching items to trees.

Vehicles:

  • All vehicles must be in good working condition and appearance.
  • All recreational vehicles must be RVIA certified and self-contained.
  • All vehicles, including motorcycles, must be operated quietly, without revving motors or playing loud music.
  • ATVs, side-by-sides, and off-road vehicles are not allowed to be operated in the campground at any time.
  • We reserve the right to refuse access to any guests whose vehicle is deemed to be unacceptable.
  • Charging of Electric Vehicles is NOT allowed.

Safety and Security

  • Speed limit is 5 MPH. Only persons with a valid driver’s license may operate a motor vehicle (including golf carts) in the campground.
  • Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
  • Profanity or violence towards other guests or staff will not be tolerated and will result in immediate ejection.
  • Use of fireworks, firearms, archery, paintball, slingshots, or air guns is prohibited.
  • Please be responsible when consuming alcohol. Drunkenness or obnoxious behavior is prohibited.
  • Doe River is a natural, unregulated stream that can change rapidly and produce strong currents. Use common sense and pay attention to the river conditions. Enter water at your own risk.
  • Vandalism of any kind by anyone (regardless of age) is a reason for ejection.
  • Doe River Landing is in a natural wildlife habitat area. Be aware of your surroundings, do not feed wildlife, do not leave food and trash outside.

 

Quiet Hours

  • Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 8 AM.
  • Loud music and noise affecting other guests are prohibited.
  • No outdoor lights during quiet hours.

 

Pet Policy

  • Well behaved cats and dogs are welcome, a maximum of 2 pets per site is allowed.
  • Pets may not be left unattended.
  • All pets must be kept on leash while outside of the camper.
  • The area inside the loop is a common use area for all guest activities and not to be used for pets to relieve themselves. Please use the designated pet area for this purpose, especially, before walking your pets on the wooded trails. Please take bags from the pet clean up station with you before heading out on the trails.
  • Guests must clean up after their pets and dispose of waste in designated receptacles.
  • Guests are responsible for any injury or damage caused by their pet(s) to other guests, their pets, their property, or campground staff or property.
  • Doe River Landing assumes no liability for any injury or damage caused by guests’ pet(s).

 

Payments and Refunds

  • All reservations require payment in full at time of booking.
  • Reservations cancelled more than 14 days in advance will incur 10% cancellation fee.
  • Reservations cancelled 3-14 days in advance will incur 50% cancellation fee.
  • Reservations cancelled 0-2 days in advance and no shows will incur 100% cancellation fee.
  • Reservation changes made more than 14 days in advance will be made at no charge if a site is available. Standard cancellation fees apply to changes 14 or fewer days in advance.
  • No refunds due to inclement weather.
  • No refunds due to Wi-Fi issues.
  • No refunds due to early departures or late arrivals.
  • All refunds will be made using the same payment method as the original payment.
