FARQUAR METSA PARK RULES FOR 2023

 

Please read over these rules and check that you agree to the terms and conditions. Be sure to read carefully as there have been changes and updates. Refusal to follow these rules will result in dismissal from the park with no refund.

 

Check in time is 3:00. NO EARLY ARRIVALS. The office is not staffed before that time. Check out time is 1:00.

You must check into the office upon arrival BEFORE setup. 

 

****Full payment is due at time of arrival if you have not already paid in full online. When making reservations online, terms and conditions must be accepted before reservation is made.

 

For every reservation, there is a $7.00 non refundable booking fee.

 

There is a $30.00 cancellation fee for full hook up sites. This will go toward the cost of your stay. If you need to cancel, your cancellation must be made within 7 days or more of your arrival date. If it is less than 7 days of your arrival date, you will lose your $30.00 cancellation fee. 

 

If extending your stay, payment will be charged to your existing reservation.  No cash or checks accepted.

 

No refunds for early departures. No exceptions.

 

We do not accept UPS, Fed Ex, US Mail or deliveries of any sort. If you are staying long term and need delivery, make arrangements with the Gwinn Post Office to rent a box or at the UPS store in Marquette.

 

No smoking of any kind in the bathroom. If you are caught, you will be given a warning. If you are caught again, you will be asked to leave without a refund. 


 

Showers and bathrooms are for in and out use. Please do not sit on benches on your phone for extended periods of time. There will be a charging station installed behind the building for camper usage.

 

Dishwashing is prohibited in bathrooms.

 

Do not remove picnic tables from the campsite.

 

All RV sites are back in only.  The back wheels of your RV should not extend over the pad and you must be completely on your own site.

 

For safety reasons, vehicles, Orvs, ATV, boats etc need to be parked across the road from your site. They should not be parked in front or on the side of your RV.

 

Do not park your vehicle in an empty RV site. Even if the site is empty, this is not a parking spot.

 

Campfires in fire rings only. Fires must be extinguished if left unattended. All garbage must be bagged and placed in garbage cans. Campsites must be kept free of litter.

 

Firewood - Absolutely no firewood brought in. Firewood is for sale on site. 

 

Hammocking on trees is permitted on your own site. No nails or screws.

 

Do not leave firewood behind on your site when you leave. Your site should be clean and clear just like you found it when you arrived. 

 

Tents on RV sites must be approved by the campground host before they are put on the reserved site.Tents must not encroach on neighboring sites. Any tents that are not approved beforehand, will be removed. 

 

It is your responsibility to accurately report how many people are staying on your site when making your reservation. If you have a change in that number, it is your responsibility to report the change before your arrival.  If you have any questions, please call the Camp Host.

 

Visitors:

 

Guests must leave the campground by 10:00 p.m. Quiet time is from 10:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. Quiet hours means to turn the music off or down low and keep conversation at a reasonable level. It does not mean lights out. Please be respectful of other guests.

 

For safety reasons, please make sure your children are supervised at all times. It is the campers responsibility to make sure these rules are followed by their visitors bringing children as well.











 

Pets

 

We welcome pets, however, your pet is also a guest at our park and as a pet owner it is your responsibility to make sure these rules are followed.

 

No pets are to be brought in by visitors.

 

Pets must be leased at all times. If they are not leashed, you will receive one warning and then will be asked to leave. 

 

2 pets per site. No exceptions. 

 

You must clean up after your pet. Place droppings in a plastic bag and place in a garbage can. Do not put dropping bags in fire rings.

 

Do not allow your pet to go to the bathroom on another site.

 

Pets are not allowed in the restroom or showers. There is a leash pole located outside of the restrooms. If you are caught with your pet in the restroom, you will be given one warning. The next time, you will be asked to leave.

 

Do not leave pets unattended for long periods of time.

 

Excessive barking and signs of aggression are not tolerated. 

 

Refusal to follow these rules will result in dismissal from the park with no refund.
