RESORT POLICIES

 

Check-in is 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM.  All guests must check-in upon arrival.

Check-out is 11:00 AM for rentals and 12:00 PM for campsites.  Late checkout is available based on the availability and is subject to a $10.00 for 2 hours late checkout charge. Please inquire with the manager for details.

All resort property and buildings are monitored by video surveillance. Management reserves the right to evict anyone for not following resort rules and/or engaging in inappropriate behavior.

Quiet time is 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM and is strictly enforced. Outside speakers or music must be off at 11:00 PM

The speed limit throughout the resort is 7 MPH, which will be strictly enforced.  Please be on the lookout for children.

Alcoholic beverages are to be enjoyed at the campsites and not allowed in bathhouse or laundry area.

All vehicles must park in designated spaces only. Parking on grassy areas or in an unauthorized area is not permitted.

Two vehicles are allowed per site.  Trailers of any kind count as a vehicle. Extra vehicles subject to a $5 nightly fee.

All RV’s and camping units must be in good working condition.

Golf carts, scooters and bicycles are to be driven only on roadways. Please do not drive your golf cart or scooter after dark unless equipped with head and taillights. Operators of all motorized vehicles must be at least 16 years of age with a valid driver’s license.

Due to Michigan public act 188 of 2009, smoking is not permitted in any public area. This includes all buildings and activity areas.

Firearms are not allowed on the resort property. All violators will be evicted.

Fireworks are not allowed on the resort property, including legal fireworks. All violators will be evicted.

Fires are allowed in campsite fire rings only.  Campfires must be attended and under control at all times.  All fires are to be extinguished by 1:00 AM.  Firewood may not be brought into the resort because of the Emerald Ash Borer. Firewood can be purchased at the resort entrance. Please do not burn plastic or garbage.

Trees and logs are property of the resort. Cutting, injuring and driving nails into any tree is prohibited. We would appreciate it if you would notify us of any defacing of park property. Do not cross fence for wood.

We strive to maintain a family-friendly atmosphere. Offensive music, vulgar language, and disorderly behavior will not be tolerated.

Parents and caregivers are responsible for the appropriate behavior of their children. Please be aware of where your children are and what they are doing at all times. Children under 10 must be supervised in the bathhouse and laundry area. Parents or guardians will be held financially responsible for any damage caused by children.

Clotheslines are not allowed in the resort. Drying racks attached to RV’s are permitted on a temporary basis. Please take down all towels and swimsuits when dry. Laundry facilities are provided for your convenience.

All sewer hoses must have a watertight collar. Please ensure all of your hookups are in good working order. Watertight collars are available from the manager.

Phone messages will be brought to your site and taped to your camping unit if guest is unavailable.

Picnic tables may be moved for group dining with other campers. Please return all tables back to appropriate campsites before departing.

Children under 18 years of age must be back at a campsite by 10:00 PM or accompanied by an adult.

Please be courteous and do not walk through another campers campsite.

This is NOT a fish cleaning campground.  If you need to clean fish the cleaning station is at the Frankfort Boat Launch.  This is your only warning for this if we catch you cleaning fish or disposing of fish guts you will be evicted.  That isn't something that anyone wants to smell.

With regard to garbage, it MUST be in a proper garbage bag and tied off.  No dog poop bags, grocery store bags or other type of bags will be picked up.  The garbage must be put out in the morning by 10am or you are responsible for bringing it to the dumpster.  The dumpster is at the end of the back road by the fire exit.

PETS POLICIES

We do not allow Pitbulls, Rottweilers, Doberman, Chow or any mixes of these.  In addition, the presence of a vicious dog or dangerous animal. An animal that has had one or more incidents of physically attacking, biting, or causing personal injury shall be considered vicious or dangerous. Non-domesticated animals or exotic animal(s) kept on premises are also not acceptable.

Pets are not be left unattended anywhere in the resort.

Pets must be kept on a leash when outside of your RV unit.

Barking and/or aggressive behavior will not be tolerated. If the individual responsible for the pet does not properly address and/or cure the problem, he/she will be asked to leave the resort.

Pet waste must be immediately picked up and disposed of in a sealed plastic bag.

Please use designated pet walk.

Two (2) pets maximum are allowed per site, unless prior arrangements have been made with management.

There is storage available for $1/day, $30/month or $300/annually.

There is a fee for putting a tent or RV on your campsite.  $20 for tents and $40 for RV's.  Please verify with the office that it is OK to put up another structure.

The seasonal campers will be responsible for their electric bills with a $5 meter reading fee.

Move off’s and move on’s are also a charge.  If someone from the park is going to move your trailer to storage and then back onto a site there is a $50 charge for the time, gas and use of equipment to do that.  If you want it leveled and the jacks dropped it is another $25.

For seasonal campers, .there is a deposit due of $500 in the fall.  The remaining balance is due by May 1st of the following year.
