Halfway to Halloween Weekend

April 28 - April 30

The theme weekend doesn’t lie—we are halfway until Halloween is here! Join us for a fun weekend filled with Halloween fun including trick-or-treating, costume contests, and other Halloween crafts and activities! We encourage you to bring your favorite Halloween decorations so you can participate in our site decorating contest!

Less Chores, More S'mores Weekend

May 5 - May 7

Drop the chores and let’s make some S’mores! We are officially kicking our very first S’more Contest, where YOU have the chance at being the 2023 S’more Champion of Jellystone Park in Grayling, MI! We will have fun enjoying games and craft that include our favorite S’more ingredients and enjoy a glow-stick ‘Hey!Ride’ with one of your favorite Jellystone Friends!

Candyland Bearadise & Mother's Day Weekend

May 12 - May 14

It’s time to get creative…with CANDY! This weekend is all about candy (and Mom)! We have games like candy bar bingo, candy bar horse races, candy trivia games, candy art, and SO much more! Of course, we will make time to make Mom a beary special candy treat for Mother’s Day.

Superhero & Sidekick Weekend

May 19 - May 21

Bring your cape, or favorite superhero costume and get ready for SUPER FUN this weekend! You can create your own mask, test your luck at the cookie smash, and join in on the best superhero costume contest! We want to honor our heroes (Veterans, Military, Fire, EMS, Police, Healthcare Workers, Teachers) for all that they do and would like to provide them with a discount to join us this weekend (Call the office, specialty ID must be present at check in).

Anything Goes Weekend

May 26 - May 29

This weekend…. Anything Goes! We might kick off with weekend with ice cream for breakfast, some edible dirt for lunch and candy necklaces for dinner! We will also include some wacky races, tie dye fun, other messy yard games! This weekend is all fun and games…literally!

Gameshow Mania Weekend

June 2 - June 4

Are you ready to make a deal? Can you stay focused when it’s your moment to own it? Are you smarter than Yogi Bear™? This weekend we are going to be bringing out all sorts of fun games, so feel free to allow your competitive side to come out. Yogi Bear just might have a very special grand prize for his favorite game! Game On!

I Scream, You Scream, We all Scream for....ICE CREAM Weekend

June 9 - June 11

Ice Cream is the focus this weekend! Join in for an Ice Cream social with one of your favorite bears, see if you can survive the brain freeze challenge, and one special camper will be chosen to be made into a GIANT Human Sundae!

Wacky Races Weekend

June 16 - June 18

Water Relay races, chugging contest, food eating contests, scavenger hunt races and SO much more! Get ready to compete against your fellow campers as we race into a wacky weekend of fun! We encourage you to bring your BEST wacky and wild outfit so you can join in on the “2023 Wild & Wacky Outfit” contest! We will also make some time to create something especially wacky for Dad since it’s also Father’s Day Weekend.

Tropical Bearadise Weekend

June 23 - June 25

Get out your grass skirt and Hawaiian lei’s because this weekend it’s every camper’s bearadise! We will have a pineapple eating contest, play some musical islands, and other tropical themed crafts and activities. Bring your Hawaiian outfit for the evening Luau (Dance party).

Red, White, and Boo Boo™ Weekend

June 30 - July 6

Join in on celebrating Independence Day with us! Get ready to decorate your bikes for a fun parade, and compete in the patriotic site decorating contest-bring your decorations! We will also have patriotic tie dye fun, a watermelon social and a seed spitting contest!

Beary Christmas in July

July 7 - July 10

It’s a wonderful time of the year….because we are celebrating Christmas in July! Yogi Bear™, Cindy Bear™, and Boo Boo™ are hibernating all winter long, so now it’s their turn to join in on the Christmas fun! Join in on the Christmas caroling SL-Hey! Ride, decorate your own Christmas cookie, pass the present game, snowball fights, and so much more! A special guest will be handing out Christmas gifts (Parents, bring a wrapped gift with your child’s first and last name on it for our special guest to hand out).

Frosty Fest Weekend

July 14 - July 17

Yogi Bear™, Cindy Bear™, and Boo Boo™ are too busy hibernating during Christmas, so we always make sure to celebrate Christmas with them in July! Yogi Bear will be the judge for the best Ugly Christmas Sweater Contest and the site decorating contest (bring those Christmas decorations)! We will make our own ornaments, enjoy a brain freeze contest, and have a snowman building contest (with a twist, of course). A beary special guest will be handing out Christmas gifts to all the good boys and girls! (Parents, bring a wrapped gift with your child’s first and last name on it for our special guest to hand out).

Chocolate Lover's Weekend

July 21 - July 24

If you LOVE chocolate, this is the weekend for YOU! This weekend we will be having a chocolate milk chugging contest, chocolate candy carving contests, chocolate pudding art, chocolate trivia, chocolate pudding eating contest, AND CHOCOLATE PUDDING WRESTLING! You will not want to miss the weekend filled with all things CHOCOLATE!

Pirates & Princess Weekend

July 28 - July 31

A’hoy Maties! Join in on a scavenger hunt for the missing treasure chest—Yogi Bear™ can’t seem to remember where he left it. Can you help him find it? Our pirates and princesses will have a chance to walk-the-plank, make their own sword or necklace, play a fun game of capture the flag, and even have a cannon ball contest! We will also take a deep-sea dive in the pool to look for some of our missing coins!

Carnival Fun for Yogi Bear's™ Birthday Weekend

August 4 - August 7

No time for clowing-around this weekend! Cotton Candy art, glitter tattoos, and face paint games are on the to-do list for this weekend! We will also play some fun hula hoop games along with some other fun carnival games you will be sure to love! Along with all of that fun, it happens to be Yogi Bear’s™ birthday, so of course we will throw him a SURPRISE birthday party (yes, with cake and ice cream, too)!

Wet N' Wild Weekend

August 11 - August 14

Make sure to bring those bathing suits because this weekend we will be getting WET! We will have slip and slide kickball, water relay races, a water balloon war, and even a water gun fight (bring your own)! Get ready to get wet and wild!

Mystery Detective Weekend

August 18 - August 21

Can you help find the missing pic-a-nic basket? This weekend will be focused on helping Yogi Bear™ find his misplaced picnic basket and the lucky winner will win a free night stay and some other goodies! Boo Boo™ also created a digital scavenger hunt that he is looking forward to participating in with everyone. Get those detective skills ready for a weekend filled with twist, turns, puzzles, and clues!

All Things Messy Weekend

August 25 - August 28

Who loves to get messy?! This weekend we are going to have fun getting a little bit dirty! We will kick off the weekend making slime, playing whip cream wiffle ball, and pie in the face trivia! The kiddos will also be able to have a chance to paint with pudding, enjoy an applesauce eating contest (with a twist), and we will end the weekend with an epic food fight!

Anything Goes Weekend #2

September 1 - September 5

Bushel of Fun with All Things Apples Weekend

September 8 - September 11

An apple a day, keeps Yogi Bear™ away! Just kidding-Yogi Bear LOVES apples! In fact, Yogi Bear is excited to judge the applesauce eating contest. We will also play apple smear, create some apple artwork, and even have some Apple Trivia! Oh, and of course we will have to have caramel apples!

Creepin' It Real

September 15 - September 17

Get ready to kick off the start of our Halloween Weekends! Bring your costumes to compete in our costume contest—this weekend’s costume contest will be for THE BEST GROUP COSTUME (3 or more people)! We will enjoy fun Halloween themed crafts and activities, walk thru the Trail of Terror, Halloween scavenger hunt, and of course trick-or-treating! Come and creep it real with us this weekend!

Monster Mash

September 22 - September 25

Enjoy a fun-filled Halloween weekend. Enjoy a trip to the Magic Pumpkin Patch, show off your costumes at our costume contest, enjoy trick-or-treating & pumpkin games. Make sure to bring your Halloween decorations to compete in our site decorating contest! Don’t forget to bring your glowsticks for our Monster Mash Dance Party!

Witch Way to the Candy: Witches & Wizards Weekend

September 29 - October 2

Witches, Wizards, & Candy…Oh My! Our crafts and activities will have all sorts of sugar, spice, and everything….nice? We will have pumpkin decorating, Halloween crafts, scarecrow decorating contests, trick-or-treating, and so much more! Bring those Halloween decorations to participate in our Site decorating contest AND make sure to bring your Halloween costumes! This weekend’s costume contest will be for the best DUO Costume (2 people).

The Nightmare Before Closing Weekend

October 6 - October 10

It’s our last weekend of the 2023 camping season, so let’s do it right! We will enjoy one last hoorah of trick-or-treating, pumpkin patch fun, Halloween activities, and of course a walk through the Trail of Terror! Join us for a late-night spooky movie, too! Don’t forget to bring those Halloween decorations to participate in our site decorating contest. You think your pumpkin carving skills are good? Take your shot at being named this season’s Pumpkin Carving Champion!
