Terms of Service

Campground & Park Policies:

  •  NO SUB-LEASING OF CAMPSITE IS ALLOWED.​
  • WIFI Password and Bathroom codes will be given to campers upon arrival.
  • Park Manager phone is 231-655-1581 and is available 9 am – 5 pm. Park email is blhopkinspark@gmail.com
  • Quiet hours are from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
  • Dump station is in front of the bath house.
  • Coin operated showers: dime for 2½ minutes, quarter for 7½ minutes.
  • Camper trash will be picked up daily.         
  • Please set bagged trash by site post prior to 11  a.m.  daily pickup.
  • Maximum of 6 people per site. Park Manager reserves the right to charge additional $5/night for extra tent(s).
  • Two vehicles per site. Center grass area is for boat & trailer parking only. Fishing-boating area at East end of campground is not for camper parking. Visitors please park on the Village streets and walk down to park.
  •  All RVs must be backed in to respect the privacy of the site next door.
  • Campers are allowed to attach hoses to campground water faucet to fill RV holding tank only. Hoses may not be attached for continual intake.
  • Please keep campsite within white posts on back sites. Areas outside posts are private property.
  • Pets are welcome in Hopkins Park as long as their people clean up after them! Please keep pets on a leash and under control at all times. Pets are NOT welcome in the swim area, playground or bath house. Leashes may be tied to RVs or a stake, not to trees.
  • Please keep fires within the fire rings. Do not leave fires unattended or move fire rings. Fire areas are meant for fires only. No cans, bottles, trash or dishwater within fire rings, please.
  • Campers may not trim trees. See Park Host or Park Manger if there’s a problem.
  • No riding of ATVs or ORVs is allowed in the campground.
  • Suggestion/complaint forms are available from Park Host and can be returned there also.
  •  The Village of Bear Lake will not be responsible for lost or stolen articles, damage to personal property, or personal injury. Management reserves the right to have anyone removed from Hopkins Park. Any person asked to leave based on the use of profanity or rule violation will not be entitled to a refund.
