Terms & Conditions Agreement

  1. Guest(s) states that Guest’s stay is for vacation purposes only, that guest(s) has a principal residence other than at this park, and that guest’s stay shall not exceed 45 days.
  2. Guest(s) agrees to abide by all park rules and regulations set forth herein, as well as those posted and/or distributed, plus all of the terms of this agreement.
  3. Guest(s) shall be responsible for all damage caused by a guest or any of the guest’s pets, company or visitors. 
  4. Guest(s) acknowledges that the only people allowed to stay overnight in the RV are those identified in registration. The space is to be used only by Guest(s) for private recreational purposes. No business or commercial activity of any nature shall be conducted in this park.
  5. Guest(s) acknowledges that Guest(s) is(are) responsible for locking his/her RV in order to help prevent loss or damage. Guest(s) agrees to notify park management or the police in the event Guest(s) observes or leans of suspicious or illegal acts in the park and further acknowledges that park management is not responsible for acts of third parties or acts from natural occurrences (fire, hail, wind, earthquake, ice, rains, snow, etc.)
  6. Guest(s) agree that at the end of the term of this agreement, Guest(s) shall immediately move his/her RV out of the park.
  7. Guest(s) agrees the credit or debit card used at booking will be charged to pay for any unpaid dues or late fees.
  8. There shall be no automotive maintenance or RV maintenance allowed in the park: Changing of oil is NOT allowed, Dumping of waste materials is permitted only at dump stations. “Port-a-potty” dumping in the restroom is NOT allowed. Clothes lines and hanging of clothes is not permitted outside the RV.
  9. All pets must be disclosed at booking. No pet shall be allowed to run loose in the park and no pet shall be tied outside unattended by a Guest. Pet owners must ‘walk’ their pets in designated areas only and must clean up after their pets including pet excrement. Pets must be kept off of other people’s spaces. Noisy, messy, destructive or dangerous pets will be cause for immediate eviction. 
  10. TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE OF EACH AND EVERY PROVISION OF THIS AGREEMENT. In the event Guest(s) breaches this agreement, the park shall have available all remedies provided at law or in equity.
  11. If any action is required to enforce or interpret this agreement, the prevailing party shall be awarded reasonable costs and attorney fees from the losing party, including those incurred at arbitration, trial or on appeal. 

NOTICE: Oregon law (ORS 105.682, et seq.) provides the owner of land is not liable in contract or tort for injury death or property damage that arises out of use of the land for recreational purposes (known as “recreational use immunity”). That immunity from liability does not apply if the owner makes a charge for permission to use the land. Fees charged for a particular use in this park, such as camping, do not apply to other uses of the park, or to your ability to enter other areas of the park. Therefore, the City of Elgin is not liable for injuries, death or property damage arising out of any use of this park for recreational purposes when no specific charge has been made for that use or for the right to enter that part of the property

VIOLATION OF ANY TERM OF THIS AGREEMENT OR ANY POSTED PARK RULE OR REGULATION SHALL BE CAUSE FOR IMMEDIATE EVICTION.

 

General Park Rules

  • Check-in is at 2pm. 

  • Check out is at 12pm

  • Set up and park ONLY in your assigned space. DO NOT park in empty sites. 

  • One passenger/tow vehicle and one RV are allowed in each site. Extra vehicles must be parked in overflow parking areas. Only licensed and registered vehicles are allowed.

  • The Speed limit is 5MPH, no exceptions.

  • Pets must be leashed and supervised in the park at all times & pet waste must be picked up immediately.

  • Quiet time is from 9pm-8am. Be respectful of other guests at all times.

  • Children must be supervised at all times.

  • Be respectful and sanitary in shared spaces (shower/laundry facilities) and do not leave personal items behind or they will be disposed of. Do not use dye in park facilities.

  • Do not erect screen rooms, canopies, pet fences, kennels, or any other similar structure.

  • NO parking, pools, mats/carpets, etc. on the grass.

  • Sewer connections must be airtight. No faulty or leaking lines are permitted. 

  • No business activities of any kind are permitted in the park.

  • No smoking within 10ft of park buildings. No alcohol in park buildings.

  • Washing, repairs or servicing of RVs or vehicles is not permitted within the park.

  • Keep your site clean, tidy and free of clutter. 

  • Tents on the grass must move every three days.

Hu-Na-Ha RV Park Policies 

Check-in & Check-out

Check-in time is at 2pm & check-out time is at 12pm (noon). Early check-in  or late check-out is not available. Guests are required to read and sign park registration forms before checking in. Please set-up and park in your assigned site only. Guests must promptly move their property out of the site at or before check-out time. Renter agrees they are renting their space for vacation purposes only, not as a principal residence.

 

Reservations & Cancellations

A credit or debit card, a $2 non-refundable booking fee, full payment of space fees for nightly & weekly reservations or a one month's deposit for monthly reservations and a valid email address are required to book a reservation. 

 

For daily and weekly reservations:

Cancellations made 0-6 days prior to arrival date will receive a full refund minus a fee equal to one night's stay.

Cancellations made 7 days or more prior to arrival date will receive a full refund minus a $7.00 fee. 

 

For monthly reservations:

Cancellations made 0-13 days prior to arrival date will receive a full refund minus a $100.00 fee.

Cancellations made 14 days or more prior to arrival date will receive a full refund minus a $50.00 fee.

 

Rates

Space fees for each site include 2 adults and 2 children under 14 years of age. Extra people must be registered at booking. Up to 8 people can be accommodated per site with an additional fee of $3.00 per person each night. Oregon state and county lodging tax is required to be paid for stays lasting less than 30 days. A 4.5% (1.5% State + 3.0% County) lodging tax fee will be applied to your reservation total. Discounted rates are available for nightly and weekly rentals to GoodSam members (10% discount) and members of the military, active or retired (20% discount).

Only the individuals listed on your registration agreement are permitted to stay in the park, no overnight visitors are allowed. Registered guests are responsible for ensuring their visitors follow park policies. Guest’s visitors must be out of the park by 9pm. Rates may be subject to change at any time.

 

Site Guarantee

Advanced booking grants you a site with your chosen site type and amenities, however, you are not guaranteed a specific site number. If you wish to reserve a specific site that cannot be changed an additional site-lock fee of $25.00 may be paid in order to guarantee your chosen site. Not all sites will have the site-lock option available. Unforeseen incidents, though not common, may cause your site to be changed, in this event you will be refunded the site lock-fee.

 

Payment

Payment of park space fees is due upon or before arrival. Full payment is required to guarantee a reservation for nightly and weekly rentals. Monthly reservations require a full deposit of one month's space fees. A $25.00 late fee will be applied on the 5th day after payment is due and $10.00 each day after until space fees are paid in full. Failure to pay space fees on time is cause for immediate eviction. Payments may be submitted online or at the check-in booth near the park’s entrance. Payment must be submitted with a signed guest registration and policy agreement. Accepted payment methods include cash, check, money order and credit or debit cards.

 

Refunds

If you have prepaid for your site and canceled within the allotted cancellation period you will be refunded within 5-10 business days. Refunds may only be processed with the credit or debit card used for the initial purchase. If you are due a refund, you will be refunded within 5-10 business days. Refunds will not be given for bad weather, not entering promo codes, failing to show or neglecting to read park policies prior to booking. There is no refund for early departure.

 

Monthly Reservations

Long-term stays in the park are to be for vacation purposes only, not as a principal residence. A background check and references may be required. RVs are not permitted to be dropped off by a third party and a tow vehicle must be present. RVs must be immediately movable if necessary. Mail delivery is not accepted at the park; if you wish to receive mail while staying at the park, PO Boxes are available at the post office. Every month a new registration agreement must be signed and turned in with your monthly payment. Long-term stays are not guaranteed and may be terminated at any time.

 

RV Sites

RV sites include access to limited wifi, bathrooms/showers, laundry facilities and electrical, water, and sewer hook-ups. Site amenities may not be available in the event of necessary repairs or environmental factors.  Sites vary in size and electrical hook-up type. Be sure to check site descriptions before booking to ensure your RV will be compatible with your chosen site. One passenger/tow vehicle and one RV is allowed per site. Truck bed campers must remain attached to the vehicle.

 

Tent Sites

Tent sites include access to limited wifi, bathrooms/showers and laundry facilities. Electricity & water can be accessed at the restrooms building in the tent camping area. Tent sites are not numbered and you are free to choose your space anywhere in the grass fields west of the river access.

 

Speed Limit

The speed limit in the park is 5MPH for all vehicles. No exceptions.

 

Pets

All pets must be disclosed and listed on registration at booking. The maximum number of pets allowed per site is 3. All pets staying in the park must have proof of current vaccinations. Pets must be on a leash, no longer than 8ft, at all times in the park. Pets are not permitted to be tied outside unattended. Pet owners must immediately pick up pet waste, several dog waste stations can be found in the park. Pets are not allowed in park buildings and facilities. Pet bedding/clothing is not permitted to be washed in the park’s laundry facilities. No pet fences, kennels, tie-outs, etc., are allowed to be erected in the park. Pets cannot be unruly, noisy or cause disturbances. Do not allow your pet to chase wildlife in the park. Owners that cannot control their pets or do not follow pet policies will be asked to leave the park. 

 

Children

Children must be closely supervised by a responsible adult at all times. Children may not enter park facilities without adult supervision.

 

Parking & Vehicles/Boats/Cargo Trailers/Etc.

Only one RV and one passenger/tow vehicle is permitted per site. Passenger vehicles are not permitted to be parked perpendicular to your RV; your vehicle must completely fit in your space and be in-line with your RV, if not, then it must be parked in overflow parking. Extra vehicles must register at booking and park in overflow parking areas. All vehicles and RVs must have current registration and may only be operated by a licensed driver within the park. Extra vehicles for monthly rentals can be accommodated for $20.00 per vehicle each month. Extra vehicles must be stored in overflow parking areas.

 

Electricity

All RV sites include an electrical hookup. All sites have 20amp outlets available. Sites in Rows A-D include 30/50amp outlets and sites in Row E have 30amp outlets. Be sure to check site descriptions before booking to ensure your RV will be compatible with your chosen site. Guest(s) are responsible for understanding their electrical usage. Usage over the 20, 30 or 50 amps provided may cause the breaker to trip. Be cognizant of electrical usage to avoid tripping the breaker during your stay. 

 

Sewer

Sewer dump for registered park guests is free. Sewer connections are to be air tight. Elevated hose and connection adapters are required. No faulty, leaky or malfunctioning lines are permitted. Sewer dump for non-park guests may be accommodated, if an empty space is available, for a fee of $15.00. 

 

Water 

Water pressure in the park is 125psi. Water pressure regulators are highly recommended. The park is not responsible for damages for failure to use proper equipment. Filling stock tanks or any similar item with water from the park is not permitted. 

 

Shower/Bathroom/Laundry Facilities

Free showers are included for registered park guests. Registered park guests have access to bathrooms and laundry facilities 24/7, unless closed temporarily for repair or cleaning. The park’s facilities are shared spaces; please do not leave personal belongings (soaps, clothes, razors, etc.) behind in these areas or they will be disposed of. Please promptly pick up laundry and clean the dryer vent after each use. Do not move another guest's laundry. Do not use dye of any kind in park facilities. Please be sanitary and respectful in shared spaces.

 

Garbage

Only household garbage, generated on-site, is permitted to be disposed of in park dumpsters. Waste must be secured in tied bags and placed in the dumpsters. Large items, appliances, hazardous wastes, etc., are not permitted to be disposed of in park dumpsters. Please break-down cardboard before putting it in the dumpster. Disposal of waste generated off-site is not permitted. 

 

Fires & BBQs

Use of fire pits is only allowed when the threat of wildfire is not present. The state fire marshall and Forest service determine when open fires are allowed. Portable propane grills are permitted in the park as long as they are used in compliance with manufacturer’s guidelines and never left unattended. Use of the park’s charcoal BBQs is permitted when a burn ban is not in place. 

 

Cleanliness 

Spaces must be kept clean, tidy and free of clutter and debris. Personal belongings must be stored neatly and off the grass. Only outdoor/camping furniture is permitted and must be stored properly when not in use. Pet waste must be picked up immediately. No clotheslines, canopies, screen rooms, air mattresses or any other similar structures are to be erected outside of your RV. No mats, carpets, pools, satellite dishes, etc. on the grass. A $100.00 cleaning fee will be charged for sites that are left a mess and guests will not be welcomed back.

 

Quiet Time & Conduct

Quiet hours are from 9pm-8am. No parties or disturbances are permitted. Running a generator is not permitted at any time. Group gatherings shall be kept to a minimum so other guests are not disturbed. Firearms, fireworks, weapons, etc., are not permitted to be discharged or brandished in the park at any time. Disruption of the peace will not be tolerated; violators will be asked to leave.

 

Alcohol, Tobacco, Etc.

There is no consumption of alcohol inside of park facilities, this includes bathrooms. All state and federal laws must be followed regarding alcohol and tobacco. There is no smoking, vaping or chewing permitted within 10 feet of park facilities. Do not litter tobacco products. Illicit drug possession/use or visible impairment in the park will not be tolerated & violators will be vacated immediately. 

 

Business Activities

No business or commercial activities of any nature are permitted to take place on park property at any time.

 

Repairs & Servicing

Washing or repairs of vehicles, RVs, equipment, etc., is not allowed in the park. All vehicles and RVs brought into the park must be in good working order. 

 

Older RVs

All RVs staying in the park must be well kept and fully functional. Guests wishing to stay 30 days or longer must have an RV less than 20 years old for the duration of their stay.

 

Winter Camping

This region experiences heavy snowfall during the winter and roads are not guaranteed to be plowed. Guests staying during the winter months are advised to prepare their RV with the proper skirting and heated water hose. It is recommended to keep grey water lines open, and run water the size of a number 2 pencil lead to prevent your pipes from freezing. Guests are responsible for ensuring their RV is ready for winter. During very cold weather or winter storms, the park’s water supply may freeze or the power may go out; it is advised to keep emergency supplies on-hand in your RV to be prepared for this event. 

 

Propane

20 gallon propane spares or exchanges are available to purchase in the park. Large, stationary propane tanks may be permitted with prior approval for placement from management.

 

Bicycles

Riding bikes in the park is allowed. Bikes must stay on the roads and ride with the flow of traffic. Bikes may not be ridden on sidewalks of park buildings and facilities.

 

Local Wildlife

The park is located in a rural area and you may encounter wildlife (deer, turkey, etc.) or livestock in the park. Please refrain from approaching these animals and do not allow your pets to chase or disturb them. Do not feed wildlife in the park. Please notify park management if you observe livestock or loose domestic animals in the park.

 

Management

Management reserves the right to refuse service at any time. Management will not be held liable for accidents, theft or injury to guests or their property. Management reserves the right to amend, revise or alter park policies at any time. Management reserves the right to close any site for maintenance at any time. Management shall have authority to vacate any person or property from the RV Park area at any time.

 

Liability

Hu-Na-Ha RV Park is not responsible for damages or personal injury, theft or loss of property. RV Park guests are responsible for any injury or damages caused by themselves, their children, their guests or their pets or property. Park owners or management are not responsible for acts of a third party or acts from natural occurrences such as fire, wind, hail, etc. Guests are responsible for locking and securing their RV and vehicles to help prevent loss or damage. 

 

Illegal/Suspicious Activities

Guests must notify law enforcement and park management in the event of observing illegal or suspicious activity within the park.

 

Damage

Guests will be held liable and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law for any damage to park property or employees. Guests will be required to pay for damages they or their guests cause to park property or employees. Guests are not permitted to diagnose or repair park property.

 

Privacy

The information we collect about you is only used to communicate with you, process payments and complete your booking. We do not sell, rent or share your personal information with any third party not associated with daily operations.

 

Violations 

Violation of any park rules, policies or terms may result in termination of guest’s stay at any time. If your stay is terminated you must vacate the park immediately.
