Terms and Conditions

 

The Irricana and District Agricultural Society operates and maintains the Irricana Recreation Complex, the Irricana Campground and the Bev Macdonald Rodeo Grounds located in Founders Park.

Please read the terms and conditions thoroughly, it is each camper's responsibility to read and accept them.

 

CHECK-IN/OUT

Check-in: 2 pm

Check-out: 11 am

 

BOOKING & PAYMENT

Where possible, campers should reserve their site online prior to arriving.  All campers must be registered to stay overnight in the campground.

Camping Rates are based on a per unit basis: you may book one additional small tent (up to 6 person) per site at an additional cost of  $ 10.00/night. Maximum of one unit and one small tent per site or two tents per site.

Group sites are tents only, and a minimum of 3 tents per group site. Group site rates are based on 3 tents, additional tents will be charged per tent, per night at $ 10.00/night for a small tent (up to 6 person) or $ 25.00/night for a large tent (7 person and up).

SITE CHANGES

You have been assigned a specific site, if you wish to move, please check with the office. Due to reservations and maintenance, moving may not be possible. Please inquire before moving sites.

PARKING

Please do not park your vehicle, trailer in an adjacent site. Use of more than one site will result in additional charges.

AMENITIES

The Washroom/Shower Building have keypad locks to enter. The campground attendant will give you the code upon checking in. Please do your part to ensure they are kept respectable for the benefit of all our guests. 

Each campsite includes a fire pit as well as a picnic table and we have firewood available for sale from our camp attendants. 

CAMPGROUND ATTENDANTS – The campground attendants are located at the trailer on the West side of the washrooms. The attendants are available to respond to any questions or concerns you have, provide campsite directions, and will have firewood available for purchase. The office hours are 10:00am to 7:00pm and the phone number to reach them is 403-371-7376.

CAMPING UNITS – Self-contained units with toilet and running water are recommended. 

SINGLE TENT CAMPING: Is permitted. 

GROUP CAMPING - Group camping is permitted.

INTERNET/CELL SERVICE- There is no Wi-Fi available, but cell service is accessible in the campground.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellation notice received 1 week (7 days) or more prior to arrival date - a full refund will be issued less a $10 admin fee.

Cancellation notice received less than 1 week (7 days) but more than 3 days prior to arrival date will receive a 50% refund.

Cancellation notice received less than 3 days prior to arrival date, will not receive a refund.

Bookings rescheduled inside of 1 week and cancelled at a later date are not entitled to a refund.

All "no shows" without required notification will forfeit all camping fees.

LATE ARRIVALS/NO SHOWS

•Please notify the camp host at campground@irricanaagsociety.com or 403 371-7376 of a late arrival.

•A late arrival is a planned arrival after 12:00 p.m. of the day following your scheduled arrival date.

•If notice of a late arrival is not provided and the camper does not register by 12:00 p.m. of the day following the scheduled arrival date, the reservation is considered a "no-show and will be cancelled. The campsite will be released for booking.

•All camping fees will be forfeited for “no shows”.

DUMP STATION - There is a dump station located just east of the bathroom facility. There is no fee for registered trailers. The fee for non-campers is $ 5.00.

GUESTS – Day guests are always welcome. The departure time for guests is 11:00 pm.

PET POLICY – Pets are welcome at the Irricana campground. Owners take full responsibility and assume full legal and financial liability for any injuries and/or damages resulting from a bite or attack on another person or domestic animal by their dog while on Irricana Campground.

Pets must be kept on a leash and under control at all times throughout the property. This includes controlling barking, growling, whining, aggressive behaviour, etc. Pets should not be left unattended or outside at any time without an owner present. Campers are also responsible for cleaning up after their pets and disposing of waste in the garbage bins provided. 

CAMPFIRES  Campfires must be contained to the fire pit provided, supervised, properly extinguished at night and before departure.  Please DO NOT move the firepit from its spot on the campsite. Please ensure your campfire is completely extinguished at the end of your stay before leaving your campsite. Campfires are not permitted during Burning Bans in Rocky View County. Please ask Campground Hosts for details.

FIREWOOD – Firewood is available for sale from the campground attendants for $ 15.00/bag (including GST).

FIREARMS/FIREWORKS - Firearms and fireworks and their use is prohibited in the park.

BAGGED ICE - Bagged Ice is available on site for sale $5.00(including GST) please ask campground host for assistance.

NOISE – Quiet hours are 11:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.  At the campground attendant’s discretion, any excessive noise is cause for eviction. Please note that the Irricana Campground operates under the Town of Irricana Community Standards Bylaws. Please be respectful of other guests and our neighbouring properties.

 ALCOHOL – Alcohol is restricted to your campsite only.

 VEHICLES – Vehicles must be parked in the campsite areas only. No off-road vehicles permitted.

IN CASE OF EMERGENCY - Call 911 for Fire, EMS or Police.  Provide the location of the emergency or the 911 address for the Campground and give details of the emergency.  Our 911 address is 300 -1st Street, Irricana. The Camp Attendant must also be notified of all campground emergencies, they can be reached at 403-371-7376.

KEEP THE CAMPGROUND CLEAN – It is everyone’s responsibility to make sure we pick up after ourselves and to keep the campground looking good for all to enjoy.

•Campers are personally responsible for the cleanliness of their site.

•Campers and Visitors are responsible to dispose of trash in bins provided. Pick up after yourself and dispose of garbage properly. There is a garbage bin on site located east of the washrooms.

•Recycle your cans and bottles. The camp attendant has a designated spot for recycling cans and bottles.  Please check with the camp attendant for this location.

LOST AND FOUND - Please turn in any items found during your stay to our campground attendant. If you have lost any items during your stay, please do not hesitate to contact our campground attendant by phone at: 403-371-7376 to inquire if they have been found.
