COVID-19 Policy

  • Given the current situation, and guidance from the CDC, we have outlined the best practices for virus prevention. Our guests and staff will remain our top priority. We will be monitoring the situation daily and will communicate any major changes to our policy. We appreciate your efforts in helping to keep you and our team healthy during these unprecedented times. Thank you for choosing Island Oaks RV Resort as your vacation destination. 

    Health and Safety Protocols: 

    • You are the primary person responsible for you and your family’s health in this time of COVID-19. We cannot guarantee anyone’s safety from any virus during your stay at Island Oaks RV Resort. 

    • Please adhere to all state and local mandates during your stay. 

    • For the safety of our guests and team members, if you are feeling ill or have an elevated temperature please stay home. 

    • Minimize risk to others: Individuals should only go out if they feel healthy and have not been exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19. 

    • Enhanced cleaning and sanitization protocols have been established with defined cycles and procedures for common areas and high-touch surfaces. 

    • Sanitation Stations are provided in high traffic areas. 

    • Additional cleaning supplies are provided in our Fitness Center. Please remember to thoroughly clean equipment after each use. 

    • Our Team will continue to wear masks at the resort out of an abundance of caution when social distancing is not possible and while in contact with our Guests and other Team Members. 

    • Individuals who are not fully vaccinated, CDC suggests wearing face coverings inside facilities. Local mask mandates will be followed, when applicable. 

    • Information regarding recommended hand washing procedures is posted in restrooms, breakrooms, offices, and common areas to increase awareness of simple prevention methods. 

    • Contact us directly regarding specific facilities, amenities, and restrictions as they are changing often. 

    • Facilities are being used with the risk that the user may contract COVID-19, and Island Oaks RV Resort assumes no liability if the user contracts COVID-19 because of the use of said facilities.
