Terms and Conditions

 

Park Policies

Check In / Check Out

Check in is at 1 PM local time and entitles you to your site until 12 PM the day of check out. Early check in and late check out is only permitted upon availability, for an additional fee. Please check with the office for availability. Sites not vacated by 12 PM on their check out day may be subject to a hourly late stay fee, that will be automatically added to the bill plus any processing fees.

Late check-ins are allowed at any time. Early check-outs are non-refundable.

Site Changes

You have been assigned a specific site, if you wish to move, please check with the office. Due to reservations or maintenance, moving may not be possible. Please get approval from the office before moving sites.

Open Fires

Open fires are not allowed in our park. Fires must be in fire pits or designated fire rings and must not be left unattended.

Due to state mandates, no outside firewood is permitted in the park. Firewood is available for purchase at the front office.

Storage

Storage is not allowed under or around your RV or picnic table.

Site and Park Navigation

Please be respectful of your neighbor and do not walk between sites when navigating the park. Please use main roads, sidewalks, and designated public paths to walk around the campground. The open grass areas, not part of RV lots, are free to walk through. Just remember to not let your pets leave lawn bombs.

Washing

Washing RVs or vehicles is only permitted with a bucket of water and a sponge. Hose washing is not permitted, as it can result in a mess and disturb your neighbors.

Rugs

Rugs are not allowed on the grass and we want your site to look good for both you and the next guest, but if you want to carpet the gravel you have our blessing!

Pet Policies

Breed Types

No aggressive dog breeds of any kind, or any mixed aggressive breeds. Bringing ANY aggressive breed or mixed aggressive dog, by any registered guest or visitor of a guest will result in immediate removal from the park with no refund.

Leash

We require that you keep your pets on a leash at all times. Unless in the pet park. This helps you, your pet, and other guests and other guests’ pets. Bear in mind the lighthouses are not fire hydrants.

Buildings

Pets are not allowed in the buildings. County code laws do not allow pets in our building.

Cleaning Up After Your Pet

Be a good neighbor and please use the dog walk area and clean up after your pet always. Do not let your pet deposit waste on your site or any of our other guests’ sites please. Failure to clean up after your pet will result in a 50.00 fine per occurance. After 3 warnings with fines  you being asked to leave without a refund. Please no outside litter boxes.

Leaving Pets Unattended

Pets may not be left unattended in our park. Please do not tie your pet to a tree and leave. Leaving your pets unattended is dangerous for your pet as many factors including weather, power outages, etc. can affect your pet’s well-being while you are away. Animal control may be called if no owner can be identified or contacted in a timely manner. 

Barking

Excessive barking is not tolerated and disturbs your neighbors. Please note that excessive barking may result in you being asked to leave without refund.

Vehicle Policies

Speed Limit

The park speed limit is 5 mph. This policy is to keep you, your children, and your pets safe. Exceeding this speed limit will result in a warning. Multiple warnings will require us to ask you to leave without refund. Safety is our number one priority for our guests.

Parking

Please do not park your vehicle, trailer, or boat in an adjacent site. Use of more than one site will result in additional charges. 

Each paid guest registration covers 1 RV or tent per site and 1 vehicle per site. Trailers, Boats, and additional vehicles will cost additional fees. A nightly registration covers 1 RV or tent and 1 vehicle only. Extra vehicles will need to be parked in additional parking spots around the pavilion. Please do not park on our grass. Ruts caused in your site or around the park will result in damage charges.

No parking in common areas. Do not park in the middle of the road. Do not park in sites that you did not register for and do not block our garages or our bathroom and laundry room doors. Parking on the grass is not permitted at RV Sites or in tent areas.

ATV’s. Dirt Bikes, Motorcycles, and Golf Carts

OHV’s are welcome onsite but may not be used within the park.  ONLY to get to and from your site. Loud vehicles are not permitted.

General Park Policies

Visitors

Only registered guests are permitted to enter the park. All visitors must stop in the office to register. Visitors staying past 10pm must pay a fee and receive a parking pass when they arrive. Visitors may not bring pets. Kamper Kompanion RV Park reserves the right to limit the number of people visiting a site. Please check with the office before inviting any visitors. Registered guests are responsible for ensuring their visitors are properly registered and that all campground rules are followed. Any damages caused by visitors will be charged to the registered guest they are visiting.

All guests visiting someone in the park must register and pick up a pass at the office and park in the designated area. Vehicle Pass must be visible at all times please.

Electrical Use

You are responsible for understanding how many amps you are using in our RV. Amp usage over the 50 AMPs provided can trip your breaker. Please be mindful of your amp usage, so that you don’t trip your breaker during your stay.

Please notify the office so that we can notify maintenance if you have any electrical issues during your stay. Guests are not permitted to diagnose our electrical pedestals per insurance and safety requirements. Maintenance is happy to help. Even if you are an electrician, laws prohibit you from working on our pedestals unless hired to do so.

Kamper Kompanion and any of its subsidiaries, are not responsible for damage to guests' vehicles/RV from Utility connections.

Laundry

The laundry room is open 24/7. Change available during office hours. Please do not leave your laundry unattended. We are not responsible for accidents or theft.

Restrooms

For the comfort of all our guests, restrooms are open 24/7 with exception of a temporary closing for cleaning once per day. We ask for your help in keeping the restrooms clean, please. Guests under the age of 18 need adult supervision in the bathrooms and showers.

Playground

Playground opens at 8 am after quiet time and closes at dusk. Anyone under 18 must be supervised in these areas and all areas of the campground at all times. Loud music, glass, and rough play are not permitted at the playground. Failure to follow these rules result in you being asked to leave without refund. Please do not let your children climb our trees, as it damages them. The park does not supervise playground use, use at your own risk.

Quiet Time Policies

Quiet time is 10 PM to 8 AM. Anyone playing loud music will be warned only once and then asked to leave without a refund.

Trash Disposal

Trash dumpster is located in the front of the park. Please tie trash bags completely closed and put your trash completely in the trash container. Please do not place your trash on the ground. Woodland creatures like possums and racoons are attracted to left out or disposed of food and while we think they are cute and wonderful animals; we don’t want you to find a surprise night visiting raccoon because of incorrectly disposed of trash! Do not dispose of wires, oil, furniture, mattresses, or any toxic waste or chemicals in our trash cans. Please break down all boxes. Trash is emptied twice per week. Failure to adhere to this rule may result in charges for disposal fees and imposed fines.

Littering

Please don’t litter, including food scraps. Guests littering may be asked to leave the park or may be subject to ground cleaning fee if trash or droppings are left on their site after check out.

Septic

RV Approved toilet paper only. No wipes whatsoever, including hand wipes, baby wipes, even wipes labeled flushable. Also, no rubber products or gloves of any type. No grease or oils. All these can cause extensive damage to our septic system which you may be liable for.

Children

Children under 18 must be supervised by an adult at all times. Riding bicycles without a parent and on our main entrance road is prohibited for the safety of your children and our incoming RV guests. The playground closes at dusk. Anyone under the age of 18 must be back at their site by dusk. Children may not use the restrooms without being accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Drones

Drones are not permitted in our park. Please do not fly drones over people or RVs. There are several local area parks where drones are permitted for your enjoyment.

Site Appearance

Clotheslines, portable hot tubs, and baby pools are not permitted in our park. Please keep your site tidy at all times.

Fireworks and Firearms

Fireworks and firearms are strictly prohibited in our park. The prohibiting of fireworks includes sparklers, smoke bombs, aerials, and firecrackers. The prohibition of firearms includes all guns including air soft, BB, and pellet guns. If these items are seen outside of your RV, you will be asked to leave immediately without a refund.

Smoking

Smoking is prohibited in all buildings including shower and restroom facilities. Please don’t litter, dispose of your butts in the receptacles found around the park. 

Drug use

Illegal drugs or drug use is not allowed on the property , any registered guest, or visitor of guest possessing illegal drugs will be immediately be evicted from the park with no refund. The authorities will be contacted.

Repairs

Repairs to RVs and vehicles are not permitted in our park. Please contact the office if you have extenuating circumstances.

Respect

The use of profanity or inappropriate conduct towards any member of the staff or other campers will not be tolerated and could lead to being asked to leave the park with no refund.

Rescheduling, Cancellations, and Refunds

Please be aware, all payments are due in full at time reservations are made.

First rescheduling is free. If a second rescheduling is needed OR if rescheduling 4 days or less prior to arrival, a $15.00 fee may be assessed. Date changes are subject to availability.

If canceling a daily reservation 48 hours or more prior to arrival, a 30% fee, capped at $50 max, will be charged.

If canceling a daily reservation 48 hours or less prior to arrival, a 50% fee will be charged. 

Single day reservations are non-refundable with less than 48 hours notice.

If canceling a weekly reservation 48 hours or more prior to arrival, a 12% fee will be charged.

If canceling a weekly reservation 48 hours or less prior to arrival, a 25% fee will be charged.

No Call / No shows forfeit any refund. No refunds after after check-in.

Monthly reservations are subject to different cancellation policies.

All payments by check require a copy of the guest/check writers drivers license. Return Checks will be charged a $45.00 fee

 

Cold Weather

Our staff will make sure that your water hydrant is properly protected from freezing. 

However, the water and sewer hoses going to and from RV are the guest’s responsibility to be protected from freezing temperatures. Please be aware that an unprotected water hose connected to the water hydrant can cause the hydrant itself to freeze. Sewer lines that are full or partially full can freeze and cause a biohazard issue if the hose brakes and contents spill onto the ground. Damages caused to park facilities by freezing water hoses or sewer lines will be the financial responsibility of the guest. 

If you stay with us during the cold season, we want you to have a good time. Please make sure your equipment is protected from freezing!

Safety and Emergencies

Emergency Contact Information forms are required from all monthly guests. This information remains private and used only when a situation arises when we need to contact someone in the event of an emergency or is sought by law enforcement agencies. We never give personal information out to others.

If you observe any activity you believe to be of concern, call 217-324-4747, 24 hours a day. (No soliciting is allowed.)

If you need to call 911 for any reason, and time allows, please call the office so the maintenance staff can be prepared to escort the emergency personnel to your site.

Photos taken during stay may be used in promotional pieces.

This campground is on private property. The owners, workers and employees maintain the right to ask anyone to leave the property immediately. Failure to comply with the request constitutes trespassing and will result in an eviction and prosecution by the police. Kamper Kompanion LLC reserves the right to change any and all rates and rules at any time without notice at its own discretion.

By completing reservation and payment I agree to these terms and conditions, and give Kamper Kompanion permission to charge electronic payment on file and for any additional fees that may arise from this reservation.

Additions for Monthly Guests

All above terms and conditions apply to monthly guests.

Monthly reservations are currently bookable by phone at 217-324-4747, and are subject to a simple vetting process.

We do not guarantee sites

We require a credit card, drivers license, and email address on file to make a monthly reservation.

A $200.00 deposit is required when making a monthly reservation, it will go towards your electric bill upon check out. Incurred fees, if any, will be assessed first. If a balance remains it will be due upon check out.

We accept cash, checks and money orders on monthly stays only after initial check-in.

All monthly guests must pay their rent or Additional night by 12 pm on check out date or a 5% late fee will be automatically added to bill.

Guests must give our office notice when they are leaving the park. All balances are due at checkout.

We offer limited community mail and package pickup.

Monthly Rescheduling, Cancellations, and Refunds

Please be aware, all payments are due in full at time reservations are made.

We do not accept partial payments.

First rescheduling is free, if rescheduling 7 days or more prior to arrival. If a second rescheduling is needed OR if rescheduling 7 days or less prior to arrival, a $15.00 fee will be assessed. Date changes are subject to availability.

If canceling 7 days or more prior to arrival a $125 fee will be charged.

Cancellations made 7 days or less prior to arrival are non-refundable.

No Call/No shows forfeit any refund.

Extending Stay

If you choose to extend your stay past your original reservation, please give as much notice as possible. We will try to accommodate as best we can. Still, you may be subject to availability and relocation to another site in the park.

RV Age and Condition

All RVs 10 years or older, and staying a month or longer will need to provide a clear picture of all 4 sides of RV.
