Lake Ridge RV Resort has established the following General Campground Guidelines to help ensure your safety and your enjoyment while in our park, and the same for our other guests. Those who choose not to observe these guidelines can be asked to leave our park without any form of a refund.

Notice to Camper

Please read all park policies and guidelines carefully before signing. This affects your legal rights.

Camping has inherent risks associated with outside activities. Lake Ridge RV Resort is not responsible for injuries or damages occurring as part of the inherent risks of any camping/water park environment. This property is privately owned. I (myself and my party) accept camping/water park privileges with the understanding that I do hereby release the owner of Lake Ridge RV Resort, its officers, family members, volunteers, fellow campers and employees of all liability for the loss or damages to property and injury to my person arising out of my use of its camping/water park facilities and agrees to indemnify the campground, its officers, family members, volunteers, fellow campers and employees, against claims resulting from loss or damage to the property or injury to myself or any member of my party, including visitors, arising out of the use of the camping/water park facilities and activities, games or events sponsored by Lake Ridge RV Resort.

I agree to pay any damages to campground property, sites, building, facilities, equipment or loss of equipment, which may occur due to the actions of myself or my party. I also agree to immediately report any accident, injury or property damage to the manager or staff. If a hazard or dangerous situation exists on the premises, the said camper will notify the management or staff immediately. I also agree to take full responsibility for myself and all the people in my party, including minors and visitors, and will require them to read and comply with all campground/water park policies and guidelines as posted in the office, rentals or on the grounds, as well as the terms and conditions set forth in this registration form. (Policies/guidelines for Lodging/Cabins are posted in each unit.)

I hereby give permission to Lake Ridge RV Resort and its affiliates, subsidiaries and licensees to use my name and photographic likeness in all forms and media for the purposes of advertising, promotions, trade and any other lawful purpose.

WIFI Notice: Customer use of the Lake Ridge RV Resort Internet Access Network: I agree that the service may only be used for lawful purposes. Transmission of any material in violation of any federal or state statute or regulation is prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, copyrighted material, material legally judged to be threatening, indecent or obscene, or material protected by trade secret. I agree not to use the service, including but not limited to, the modem and power supply for any illegal, abusive, or fraudulent purpose, or to achieve unauthorized access to any computer systems, software, data or other copyright or patent protected material. If I do, I acknowledge that I may be referred by Lake Ridge RV Resort to the appropriate law enforcement agencies. This internet access is not intended to be used for downloading movies, etc. nor can it be used to operate my own business or attend online classes.

Check-In Time: Cabins/Lodging - 3:00 PM, Campsites - 12 PM

Check-Out Time: Cabins/Lodging - 11 AM, Campsites - 11 AM, optional late check-out (subject to availability, please contact the front desk)

Quiet Time is 11:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. Please be courteous to your neighbors. Please be at your site/cabin by 11:00 PM.

Site Occupancy: Only ONE (1) RV or Tent is allowed per Campsite (RV/Tent/Primitive). ALL Campsites (RV/Tent/Primitive) allow for a maximum of eight (8) persons per site.

Maximum occupancy for cabins is the maximum persons they are rated to sleep.

No tents are allowed on RV sites or at cabins.

State Law

Sewer Ring: All RV’s are required to have an approved sewer ring/donut to prevent spillage and odor. (Available for purchase in the camp store.)

Firewood: Due to the extreme hazard of insect or disease-borne wood, it is against Virginia State Law to transport firewood across State and/or County lines. Therefore, any outside firewood brought into the resort by guests is prohibited. (Bundles of local firewood available for purchase in the camp store.)

Speed Limit: is 10 MPH. Please observe our speed limit to ensure the safety of all our guests. Watch for pedestrians. Pedestrians have the right of way. Remember… Children are playing!

Safety, after dark: In order to ensure all our guests’ safety after dark, please carry a flashlight with you. All bikes must have lights after dark.

Adult Supervision: For the safety of your children and consideration of all our guests, we require that all children under the age of 14 be directly supervised by an adult (18 years or older) at all times while on Lake Ridge RV Resort property.

Failure to comply can result in removal from the park without any form of a refund.

Armbands MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES while on campground property for you to enjoy all the amenities and alerts the staff who belong on the premises.

Swimming Pool: NO LIFEGUARDS ON DUTY, swim at your own risk. Children under 14 must be supervised by an adult (18 years or older). Please follow posted pool rules. Anyone behaving in an unsafe or destructive manner will be removed from the pool area.

NO cotton material is permitted (ie. cut-offs, t-shirts, etc). Only bathing suits are permitted in the pool. NO coolers or glass containers.

No food is allowed in the pool or on the pool deck. This includes items purchased at the snack bar.

Cabin Rental

Guests who rent cabin/lodging must be 21 or older with a valid ID, to be shown at check-in. This adult must be staying in the facility.

The person who checks in at the office & presents the vaild ID must be the name on the reservation.

Cash is accepted for payment. Customer must leave a credit card on file.

Guests must bring their own linens, which includes blankets, sheets and towels.

If the cabin is not in order at time of check-out, you will be liable for extra cleaning charges. The registered guest for the cabin will be responsible and charged for any damages that occur during your stay.

Please return your cabin key to the office upon check-out. Missing or lost keys will result in a $25 fee.

Pet Policy  

We welcome your pet to our campground. There is a limit of 2 pets per site. As a reminder, pets cannot be left outside unattended. Please walk your pet with a visible leash, no longer than 6 feet. Please scoop your poop and dispose of it in trash receptacles. Those not scooping will be required to leave the park without a refund. Pets are not welcome inside any park-owned building or pool area.

Cabins/Lodges: Lake Ridge RV Resort offers pet-friendly cabins for a $30.00 non-refundable cleaning deposit (per pet). Do not leave your pet unattended in your cabin or lodge. If you bring a pet into a cabin or lodging that is not designated for pets, you will be liable for $300 in cleaning charges.

RV Sites: There is a $5 charge for bringing your pet with your RV. We ask that you notify the front desk either at booking or upon check-in.

Tent Camping: If you are staying in a tent, pets are not allowed. If you do have a pet on your site, you will be asked to leave without a refund.

Aggressive Pets: Aggressive dogs of any breed are not permitted at Lake Ridge R.V. Resort. If your dog shows behavior that is protective and unfriendly to strangers, please leave it home. If you decide to bring your dog and it exhibits this type of behavior the owner or management of the park will ask you to please find other camping accommodations.

Trash and Garbage: Please place all garbage in designated dumpsters. Charcoal is to be dumped in the fire ring at your site or cabin.

Fireworks and Firearms are prohibited on park property. This includes BB, Airsoft and pellet guns.

Campfires are allowed in fire pits ONLY 

Fishing Lake: Swimming, as well as kayaks, canoes or outside paddle boats, are not permitted in the lake.

Smoking is prohibited in all campground buildings, cabins, on the playground and/or the water park. Please dispose of butts in provided receptacles.

If you are found to have been smoking inside one of our lodging units, cabins or rentals you will be assessed a one-time cleaning fee of $250.

Alcohol: When drinking, we ask that you do so responsibly. This is a family-friendly campground. There is a zero-tolerance policy for public intoxication.

Visitors: Your visitors are always welcome here at Lake Ridge RV Resort, as long as they register at the Main Office. Registered guests and their visitors are expected to read and adhere to all campground guidelines. Guidelines are presented at time of Check-In. All visitors must register at the front desk, purchase a Day Use Pass, and leave the campground by 10 p.m.

The number of visitors allowed at your site is dependent on your site type and the maximum occupancy allowed for that site. For example, if you are registered in a cabin that sleeps 4 people and you have two people staying the night, the maximum number of visitors you can have is 2. Likewise, all campsites have a maximum occupancy of 6 people, so if 3 are staying overnight you can have a maximum of 3 visitors.

Vehicles: Up to two vehicles are allowed per site, additional vehicles may park in the parking lot. Please display your car pass on your rear-view mirror at all times while in the park.

Recreational Vehicles: No fully battery-operated vehicles nor motor-driven cycles, bikes or scooters are to be driven in the park. You may operate a battery assisted bicycle with pedals. You may operate any golf cart that you rent from Lake Ridge RV Resort, provided you follow the guidelines. You may bring your own personal golf cart to the park for $15 per visit or $50 yearly pass.  Proof of insurance documentation and driving license are required. All personal golf carts must follow the same rules as rental carts. (MUST BE 18 TO OPERATE) Please contact the front desk for more information.

Vehicle Repairs (including oil change, etc.) of vehicles and RVs are not permitted in the park. You may check with the local listings for businesses that provide these services.

An RV Dump Station is available to dump your gray and black tanks on your RVs. There is a small fee for this service. Please check with the Main Office for more information. 

Drones: For safety purposes, we do not allow drones to be flown in our park. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Metal Detectors: These are not allowed to be used in the park.

Camping is an outdoor experience; therefore, we do not give refunds due to the whims of Mother Nature.

Forms of Payments: We accept Visa, Master Card, cash or money orders. Sorry, we do not accept checks.

All site changes need to be approved by the front desk. Park management has the right to move vehicles or belongings without notice or liability in an emergency.

Management reserves the right to refuse service, limit the length of stay and the number of persons or vehicles per site and/or evict any person or party without refund. Park staff are not allowed to work on guests’ RVs.

Violation of these Guidelines is grounds for ejection from the park WITHOUT refund.

I HAVE READ AND AGREE TO COMPLY WITH ALL CAMPGROUND POLICIES AND GUIDELINES LISTED IN THE AGREEMENT, OR AS POSTED IN THE OFFICE, IN THE RENTALS AND/OR ON THE GROUNDS OR OTHERWISE STATED BY THE CAMPGROUND MANAGEMENT OR STAFF.
