CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICIES

Action Camp dba Los Angeles RV Resort

CANCELLATION POLICY

 We do not give refunds due to the discomforts of nature or early departures. Our cancellation policy varies depending on the timing of your cancellation notice in advance of the reservation date.

Changing a reservation must be done at least 30 days prior to the arrival date for a Camp Credit in the amount paid for the reservation, minus a $30 processing fee. Changing a reservation less than 14 days prior to arrival for all cabins or less than 7 days prior to arrival for all campsites will results in all deposits paid being forfeited. In many cases you may be issued a Camp Credit for any money paid toward your reservation, to be used at a later date. (Please see " ***CAMP CREDIT " below for terms and conditions)

Monthly reservations  No refund is given for monthly reservations cancelled less than 30 days prior to arrival. The security deposit received will be fully refunded as long as there are no damages to the guests site and there are no outstanding balances for rent or utilities.

If you are a guest paying a monthly rate and leave prior to the end of the month, no money paid towards your rent will be returned to you. We DO NOT pro-rate, no exceptions. As long as no there are no damages to your site and there are no outstanding balances in your account, you will be refunded your security deposit in full. In the case that there are damages to your site and/or any outstanding balances within your account we will deduct those costs from your security deposit before it is returned to you.

Security deposit refunds processed via credit/debit card are to be processed back to the original credit/debit card and number used to pay said security deposit when reservation was made, no exceptions. The name on credit card must match the name on the reservation in order to recieve your refund. If the refund was paid in cash, you will recieve your refund in the form of a business check-(we DO NOT refund in cash, EVER)

CHANGING YOUR DATES:

 We are happy to assist you with reservation changes at any time. Changes made 30 days or greater prior to arrival will not incur any charges. Changes made less than 30 days prior to arrival that result in a reduction of the number of days for your rescheduled dates will incur either 50% percent or 100% responsibility for those removed days as deemed in our standard cancellation policies. Please speak to the office about whether or not you qualify for a camp credit in your name to be used at a later date.

NO SHOW POLICY:

Reservations will be held until check-out time on the day following your scheduled arrival. No shows will result in a cancelled reservation and full forfeiture of funds.

HOLIDAY CANCELLATIONS

We have a ZERO CANCELLATION POLICY for Memorial Day weekend, 4th of July week or Labor Day weekend. These reservations are 100% NON-REFUNDABLE and must be paid for at the time of booking if booked in the same calendar year.

CANCELLATION DUE TO RV BREAKDOWN/ACCIDENT, HOSPITALIZATION, ILLNESS:

 We understand that RV's breakdown, accidents occur, and people become injured/sick at the worst possible times, possibly leaving you suffering financially. If you find yourself faced with one of these unfortunate events, Please inform our office staff as soon as possible so that any money you paid towards your reservation can be moved into a camp credit account in your name to be used at a later date.

***Camp Credits remain active on the User Account for 1 year from the date of issuence before expiring. Camp Credits may NOT be redeemed for any reservation dates that encompass a holiday period or a special event. Camp Credits have NO cash value and may only be redeemed once. If a reservation that has been paid for with camp credit is cancelled for any reason, no more camp credit will be given. Also, if any camp credits remain after being used, they will not be given to anyone in cash or deposited onto a credit card/debit card. Camp credit cannot be transferred in anyway from one person to another with no exceptions. Camp credit cannot be sold or given away as a gift. 

CANCELLATION DUE TO NATURAL DISATER:

Your cancellation request after you make reservations or after you check in and stay due to natural disasters like high wind, storm, earthquake, flood, wild fire, and wild animals cannot be refunded. But we give Camp Credits for one year to the remaining nights except holiday or special events. We do not refund holiday or special event reservations in any cases.

CANCELLATION DUE TO INTERNET (WIFI) & CELLPHONE:

 Internet (WiFi) and cellular phone services are not included in our reservation prices, and we do not guarantee the quality of services. So we do not issue refunds due to disatisfaction with the quality of internet (WiFi) and cellular phone services.

LEAVING BEFORE YOUR ORIGINAL DEPARTURE DATE AFTER CHECK-IN AND REFUND:

In the case that a guest checks in and stays in our park, then wants to leave before their departure date for any reason. In some cases, Camp Credits for the remaining nights can be issued to the guest(s). Please speak to our office staff to see if you are able to recieve a camp credit for future use when in this type of situation.

RESERVATIONS MADE ON-LINE AND WITH OUTSIDE ENTITIES:

In the event that you have made a reservation to stay at the LA RV Resort/ActionCamp with anyone other than ActionCamp/LA RV Resort, like Booking.com, Air BnB, etc., any changes you may need to make to the reservation will have to be done with whomever made the reservation. This includes refunds and cancellations. - We cannot make changes to any reservations made through a third party-PLEASE keep this in mind when beginning to plan your stay with us.
