Maple Ridge Family Campground - Miller Lake, ON

Terms of Service

Check-in time: Between 2:00pm and 7:00pm
Check out time: 11:00am

Late check-ins are permitted after hours but require prior arrangements with the office. In order to ensure the safety of our guests, late check-ins will not be  permitted after 9:00 pm. Management approved late check-ins (after 9 p.m. will be charged a $ 50 fee).

Please read over all rules and code of conduct before signing. Failure to abide to these rules/code of conduct will result in fines and immediate eviction from the campground without refund.​

Maple Ridge Campground reserves the right to cancel any reservation at least 30 days prior to check-in date for any reason by providing e-mailed notice to the Customer.

I agree, and shall cause my children, invitees and guests, to abide by the Park Rules, including those rules and policies published at www.mapleridgecamp.ca, posted at the Premises or otherwise communicated in any manner by Maple Ridge Campground management.

I further understand and agree that Maple Ridge Campground does not give credit or refunds due to the discomforts of nature. Maple Ridge Campground's refund policy varies, depending on the timing of the cancellation notice in advance of the reservation date, as outlined in the refund policy.

You may not book an RV site with the intention of tenting on the site.

OCCUPANCY TENT SITES: 1 tent is permitted per site. Maximum 4 people per site. Any variance to this direction requires prior written management approval.

OCCUPANCY RV SITES: 1 RV and 1 Car per site only. Maximum 6 people per site.Tents are not permitted on RV sites without prior written management approval.

QUIET HOURS: 11:00pm - 9:00am Our quiet hours start at 11:00PM and they are ENFORCED. No undue noise ( vehicles, machines, screaming, shouting, amplified or unamplified music, etc.) is allowed at ANY time. All music/radios must be off at 10:00 pm until 9:00am the next morning and voices minimal (soft voices) and children must be on their campsite. No driving through the campground at this time and early departures must be done very quietly. Campfires must be extinguished no later than 1:00 a.m.

SPEED LIMIT: 10km/h Please respect the nature of a campground site and drive cautiously.

PETS: Maximum of 2 pets per site . Pets must never be left unattended whether inside or outside of your RV or tent. Please register your pets through your online booking. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times. Please clean up after your pets. Bags are available at the office for free.

GUESTS: Only registered guests are allowed in the campground, random site checks will be made by Maple Ridge Campground Management.

FOOD: All food must be kept in your trailer/RV, car, or tent until consumed to dissuade visits by wildlife.

GARBAGE & RECYCLING: CLEAN Recycling needs to be separated from the garbage and placed in the Recycling Bin at the front. Garbage must be taken to the dumpster at the office building every night. No garbage can be left out at night or during the day when you are not at your site. There is a $100.00 fee that will be added to your account if garbage is left at your site while you are not there/after you have checked-out.

WILDLIFE: Please be mindful and respectful of the wildlife in the area. Do not leave food or waste outside of your vehicle overnight as you WILL be visited by wildlife.

FIREWORKS: Absolutely no fireworks.

CAMPFIRES: Campfires must be put out before going to bed/when leaving the site. Please make sure to fully drown your fire before leaving it unattended. Campfires must not exceed 18 inches in height. Campfires are not permitted during government mandated "fire bans".

POND: No fishing,swimming or watercraft of any type  in the pond.

I HEREBY RELEASE, WAIVE, DISCHARGE AND COVENANT NOT TO SUE Grotto Getaway Ltd., a Ontario Corporation d/b/a Maple Ridge Family Campground, its owners and agents (collectively, Maple Ridge Campground Management), from any and all liability to me, my children, my invitees/guests, personal representatives, and heirs for any loss or damage on account of injury to person (including death) or loss or damage to property relating to, or arising out of, use and occupancy of the Maple Ridge Campground property, facilities, and amenities (collectively, the Premises) and any dangers and hazards associated with acts of nature such as changing weather conditions; high winds; thunder and lightning; temperature fluctuations; falling trees; tree limbs, ice; or encounters with wildlife.

I HEREBY AGREE TO INDEMNIFY, SAVE AND HOLD HARMLESS Maple Ridge Campground Management, and each of them, from any loss, liability, damage or cost (including attorney fees) they may incur due to injury (including death), damage or loss of property relating to use of the Premises by me, my children, and/or my invitees/guests or due to any incidents that may occur during my stay. I understand that, although Maple Ridge Campground Management makes every reasonable effort to provide a secure environment, the security of my person, my belongings, and all persons registered in my party is my sole responsibility.

As a courtesy, our employees, if so requested, may assist with directing you to your designated campsite. It is your sole responsibility to ensure that the site will accommodate your specific trailer/RV and that you will not hit any branches, bollards, trees, etc. when positioning your trailer/RV on the campsite. You agree to indemnify and hold Grotto Getaway Ltd., a Ontario Corporation d/b/a Maple Ridge Family Campground, its owners and agents (collectively, “Maple Ridge Campground Management”) harmless from any loss, liability, damage or cost (including attorney’s fees) that may result from an employee assisting or directing you onto a campsite. Furthermore, you release, waive, discharge and covenant not to sue Maple Ridge Campground Management for any and all liability, loss, or property damage relating to an employee assisting/directing you to your site.

I understand that I am and remain personally liable to pay the total amount of my reservation prior to my scheduled check-in date, or at such earlier date communicated to me.  If I fail to pay the total due, I agree that Grotto Getaway Ltd may charge any remaining balance (in additional to any damage charges or other amounts owed under these Terms and Conditions) to any credit or debit card on file with my reservation. Any amounts due after 30 days will be subject to the maximum late charge permitted under province law.
