Terms of Service
-Campsites are limited to a 6 persons maximum including Guests.
-2 Bedroom Park Homes Limited to 5 persons maximum including children. Sorry no tents on rental site.
-1 Bedroom and Studio Cabins Limited to 4 persons maximum including children. Sorry no tents on rental site.
-2 vehicles maximum per site. One vehicle included in site fee. Additional fees apply for additional vehicle.
-Reservation dates must be honored.
-Reservation changes that result in a decrease in days stayed will be subject to a $75 change fee.
-Quiet Hours are 11pm - 8am. Quiet hours are strictly enforced. Repeated warnings may require guest to leave.
-Pets are permitted in RV's only ibeginning July 1 to Labor Day. Sorry no pets in tents or pop-ups during that time period. Nuisance pets may be asked to leave if they cannot be controlled.
-Pets are not permitted in Rental Park Homes and Cabins.
By accepting this reservation, Guest hereby waives, releases and discharges and covenants not to sue Paradise Park for all claims and liability for personal injury, accidents, property damage, any other claim arising out of or in connection with Guests’ use of the Rental/Property. Further, Guest agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Paradise Park from all losses, claims, expenses and demands, including attorneys’ fees, that Paradise Park may incur arising out of or in connection with Guests’ use of the Rental/Property. Guest further agrees to be responsible and liable for the actions and safety of every person in their group. Paradise Park reserves the right to remove any renter, occupant or guest who is subject to a lifetime registration requirement under a State sexual offender registration program.
Pet Policy: We are a pet-friendly resort, but pets must be walked on a leash, cleaned up after and may not disturb other guests. Pets are the responsibility of the owner. Management reserves the right to restrict disruptive or aggressive breeds. Upon check-in, please notify the office of your pets.
Park Home and Cabin Reservations:
Deposits are non-refundable.
Campsite Reservations made in the same calendar year:
-International guests (including Canada): Deposits are non-refundable if border remains closed. Reserve at your own risk.
-Cancellations made at least 10 days in advance prior to arrival will be refunded in the form in which it was paid, less a $25 cancellation fee.
-Cancellations received between 24 hours and 9 days prior to arrival are subject to a $75 cancellation fee. The remainder of the deposit will be left in your account as a credit. No Refunds will be issued for cancellations received less than 10 days prior to arrival.
-Cancellations received less than 24 hours prior to arrival will forfeit their deposits in their entierity.
Campsite Reservations made in the previous calendar year:
Cancellations made at least 30 days in advance will be refunded in the form in which it was paid, less a 1 night cancellation fee. Deposit will be forfeited for all reservations cancelled less than 30 days prior to your arrival date.
Assumption of Risk, Waiver of Liability, and Indemnity Agreement
The novel coronavirus, COVID-19, has been declared a pandemic, and the Maine Center for Disease Control has reported the presence of community transmission in York and Cumberland Counties. COVID-19 is considered extremely contagious and is spread mainly, although not exclusively, from close contact with others. Paradise Park Resort cannot guarantee that you, your children, or your guests or invitees will not contract COVID-19. Even with the use of social distancing and other precautions, it is impossible to eliminate all risk of contracting COVID-19 and attending Paradise Park Resort may increase the risk of contracting COVID-19. For this reason, Paradise Park Resort ] feels that it is important that guests understand that there are inherent risks in utilizing Paradise Park Resort ’s services. These risks include, but not are not limited to, personal injury, illness, partial or permanent disability, medical or hospital bills, death, and other expenses and losses.
Acknowledgment: I, the ADULT GUEST [AND/OR MINOR GUEST AND PARENT(S) OR GUARDIAN(S)], hereby acknowledge that I will abide by any social distancing, self-quarantine, limitation on public gatherings, use of cloth face coverings, or other protective measure mandated by law related to COVID-19, including those measures that are mandated by executive orders issued by the Governor of the State of Maine. THIS INCLUDES, BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO, COMPLYING WITH ANY AND ALL QUARANTINE REQUIREMENTS FOR TRAVELERS TO THE STATE OF MAINE UNDER EXECUTIVE ORDER #34 FY 19/20, “AN ORDER ESTABLISHING QUARANTINE RESTRICTIONS ON TRAVELERS ARRIVING IN MAINE,” AS THAT ORDER MAY BE EXTENDED, MODIFIED, INTERPRETED, CLARIFIED, OR SUPERSEDED FROM TIME TO TIME.
Assumption of Inherent Risks: I, the ADULT GUEST [AND/OR MINOR GUEST AND PARENT(S) OR GUARDIAN(S)], understand that there are inherent risks posed by COVID-19 and that my presence at Paradise Park Resort may increase those risks, regardless of the care taken by Paradise Park Resort . I knowingly assume all inherent risks associated with my presence at the Paradise Park Resort premises, my use of Paradise Park Resort ’s property, facilities, equipment, and services, and any exposure to COVID-19 during my stay or presence at Paradise Park Resort .
Waiver of Liability: In consideration of permission to enter and/or use the premises, property, facilities, equipment, and services of Paradise Park Resort , I, the ADULT GUEST [AND/OR MINOR GUEST AND PARENT(S) OR GUARDIAN(S)], on behalf of myself, my spouse, heirs, personal representatives, and assigns (hereinafter the “Releasing Parties”) waive, release, and forever discharge from any and all claims, losses (economic and non-economic), or liabilities, for death, personal injury, partial or permanent disability, illness, property damage, medical or hospital bills, theft, or damages of any kind, which may in the future arise out of, result from, or relate to my presence at the Paradise Park Resort premises, my use of Paradise Park Resort ’s property, facilities, equipment, and services, or any exposure to COVID-19 during my stay or presence at Paradise Park Resort ],Paradise Park Resort ], ITS OWNERS, DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, VENDORS, INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS, AGENTS, AND REPRESENTATIVES (hereinafter “The Protected Parties”), EVEN IF SUCH CLAIMS, LIABILITIES, OR LOSSES ARE CAUSED BY THE NEGLIGENT ACT OR OMISSION OF A PROTECTED PARTY. In the case of minor guests, parents/guardians are waiving their own rights as well as the rights of the minor guests.
Indemnification: I, the ADULT GUEST [AND/OR MINOR GUEST AND PARENT(S) OR GUARDIAN(S)], agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Protected Parties from any and all expenses incurred, claims made, or liabilities assessed against them, including but not limited to attorneys' fees and litigation expenses, arising out of or resulting from, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, (i) my presence at Paradise Park Resort premises or my use of Paradise Park Resort ’s property, facilities, equipment, and services, (ii) my failure to adhere to any social distancing, self-quarantine, or other measure calculated to control or limit the spread of COVID-19 that has been mandated by law, including those measures contained in any executive order issued by the Governor of the State of Maine, and (iii) my own acts or omission that result in or contribute to a claim or liability arising from or related to a COVID-19 infection.
Miscellaneous: I, the ADULT GUEST [AND/OR MINOR GUEST AND PARENT(S) OR GUARDIAN(S)], understand that this agreement cannot be modified or changed in any way by representations or statements by any agent or employee of Paradise Park Resort , and expressly agree that the foregoing Assumption of Risk, Waiver of Liability, and Indemnification Agreement is intended to be as broad, inclusive, and protective of the Protected Parties as is permitted by the laws of the State of Maine and that if any portion thereof is held invalid, it is agreed that the balance shall, notwithstanding, continue in full legal force and effect. I also understand that if legal action is brought, an appropriate trial court situated in the State of Maine will have sole and exclusive jurisdiction, and that only the substantive laws of the State of Maine shall apply.
I HEREBY ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREED TO BE BOUND BY THIS ASSUMPTION OF RISK, WAIVER OF LIABILITY, AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT
