Thank you for choosing Point of Rocks. Please read and sign, acknowledging our Terms and Conditions (Park Rules) below. Reading this will provide you a clear understanding of our campground rules, avoid miscommunication, additional fees and will speed up your check-in process. Reservation Required

Be sure your reservation covers your entire stay. We cannot guarantee availability beyond the dates you secured. If your full-length dates are not available, we suggest you attempt to book another reservation on another campsite with those missing dates.

 

Availability 

We suggest booking 3 months in advance. Be sure to search both campsite categories online (premium vs standard) for availability. Online and Office availability is the same. We have no waitlist capability, so keep checking online for availability.

 

Lock Your Favorite Campsite!

We want to maximize occupancy to allow more people to come visit Prescott. While we guarantee you a campsite within the category you selected, our software is designed to maximize occupancy to ensure everyone can book a campsite. Secure your favorite campsite using the Lock Feature option for $15.00. Your campsite number will only appear on your confirmation email if you paid the lock fee.

 

Don't See Your Campsite Number?

If you utilized our “Lock Your Campsite” feature, your assigned campsite number will appear on your confirmation email. If you did not choose to pay the lock site fee, your reservation confirmation will not show a site number. Your personalized welcome packet with your last name will be posted outside the office with directions to your assigned campsite and park information.

 

Full Payment

We require all reservations be paid in full at time of reservation. We accept all major credit cards, no cash. View park rules, cancellation and change policies to avoid additional charges.

 

Know your Rig

Before booking, please ensure you know the correct length, number of slideouts and power usage (30 or 50 amp) of your RV. It is your responsibility to book an appropriate site that matches your RV. If you arrive and your RV doesn't fit the site or amperage, we may not have an alternative site available for you.

 

Booking Fees (Non-Refundable)

All reservations are charged a booking fee. If booking multiple campsites, this fee will be applied "per" campsite.

 

No Discounts offered

We are not affiliated with any discount programs. We offer no group discounts or weekly rates.

 

No Tent Camping

No tent camping. No truck bed, hatchback or rooftop tents.

 

Only RVs Allowed

No tiny homes, converted school buses, cars, vans or cargo/U-Haul trailers allowed. Your RV must be classified/registered as a "recreational vehicle" on your DMV registration, which is verified at check-in. No truck bed, hatchback or rooftop tents. We don’t have cabins or RVs to rent.

 

What's on my campsite?

All campsites have connections for power, sewer, water and include a picnic table. Wi-Fi available throughout the park, no streaming allowed. Campsites DO NOT have a BBQs or a fire ring. Wood fires are not allowed. No cable connection, only over the air TV (20HD channels).

 

Mail Delivery

Yes, as a courtesy we do allow mail delivery. Have mail written to your name, our address (3025 N State Route 89, Prescott AZ 86301) with C/O: Point of Rocks RV Campground. Never do a postal change of addressed with our business. Items delviered with no reservation will be refused.

 

Need Directions?

Please avoid highways through Jerome Arizona, Mingus Mountain and Prescott National Forest. These locations are not RV friendly. Click the following link for directions from various locations. Click the following link for directions.

 

Check-in Time

Check-in starts at 1:00 PM. Early check-in is not permitted. If you will be arriving in the area early, please make other arrangements until 1:00 P.M. We do not have a waiting area or overflow parking. A personalized reservation packet with your last name will be posted outside at 1:00 P.M. This packet will provide directions to your assigned campsite, park information and passcodes. If you arrive after your arrival date, you still must still follow our check-in policy of 1:00 PM on the day you arrive due to restricted lanes and traffic. No exceptions. Violation of this policy can prevent further stays.

 

Arriving After Hours?

We have no gate entry, so you can arrive anytime after 1pm. Be prepared as the park is dark at night with no street lights. Our quiet time hours is 10pm to 7am. It’s required you produce minimal noise if you arrive within our quiet times, completing RV setup in the morning.

 

Check Out Time

Check-out time is by 11:30 AM. Late check-outs are not allowed. A guest that leaves after check-out time will be charged a $20 fee per hour after 11:30 AM (AZ time) and could prevent future stays. We require our guests to adhere to this policy, as it prevents traffic issues due to our one lane roads, and to prepare (clean) the campsite for our next guest. We have no check-out process, but we thank you for choosing Point of Rocks.

 

Change My Reservation (online process)

Avoid additional administrative fees and book extra days online or submit a change request online. Change requests must be submitted 4 days prior to arrival date. Changes made 3 days or less prior to arrival date will forfeit a fee equal to a one night stay plus the $5 booking fee. We do not communicate by email.


Cancel My Reservation (online process)

Open your confirmation email, click the link, select the Cancellation option, and follow the 2-step email process. Policy requires you to cancel 4 days prior to your arrival date to receive a full refund minus the $5 booking fee. Cancellations made 3 days or less before arrival will forfeit a cancellation fee equal to a one night stay plus the $5 booking fee. We do not communicate by email.

 

No-show Policy

No show reservations will be charged for all missed days, date of notification and the $5 booking fee. If you arrive after your check-in date, you still must follow our check-in policy of 1:00 PM on the day you arrive due to restricted lanes and traffic. No exceptions.

 

Moving Campsites?

If you chose to move campsites to extend or make your reservation happen, you are required to move by 11:30 AM or when your next campsite opens. Please schedule your activities around this requirement. We suggest booking 2-3 months in advance to prevent moving sites.

 

Long Term Change/Cancel

Cancellation and/or change of any reservation that is 28 days or longer requires 14 days' notice prior to the arrival date to receive a full refund minus a $25 administrative fee and $5 booking fee. If cancelled less than 14 days prior to arrival date, a $250.00 cancellation fee plus the $5 booking fee will be deducted from your deposit. We do not pro-rate monthly reservations.

 

Refund Process

Please allow 5-10 business days for a refund to process back into your billing account. All refunds issued via credit/debit card, will be processed back to the original credit/debit card used, no exceptions. No cash refunds for credit card transactions. 

 

RV Age Policy

Any stays under 4 weeks do not have an RV age restriction. The maximum stay for any RVs older than 12 years is 4 weeks at the daily rate only, appearance does not waive this policy.


Long Term (Monthly stays)

Currently monthly rate for 2022 is $800/month plus electric. Full payment is due at time of reservation. No monthly prorations, even if you arrive late or leave early. Make reservation even months. Dates outside even months will be charged a daily rate. RV age must be 12 years or less. Maximum stay at Point of Rocks is 6 months. RV registration is required to verify RV age. Monthly campsites are preselected and provided upon arrival. Long Term Registration link will be provided once your request is paid in full. 

 

Campsite Use

No sheds, clotheslines, tarps, gates, storage bins or portable pools. Any outdoor lighting should only illuminate your site, and not disturb other guests. Yard sales and unauthorized soliciting or selling are not allowed. Do not trim trees or hang bags, clotheslines, and hammocks on trees.

 

1 RV and 1 vehicle only

Campsites are allowed 1 RV and 1 vehicle only. Our campsites are not longer than the size of your RV, therefore you must disconnect your vehicle or tow vehicle. We have no pull-thru sites. Guests are allowed to use guest parking during the day. No overnight parking.

 

Text Message

If you opt in for text messaging, we will contact you regarding any campground emergencies, outages, reservation alerts or policy reminders. Text messaging is only active while you’re staying at the campground. Do not communicate with us by texting. Voice calls only. 

 

Quiet Time Policy

Quiet time is 10 PM to 7 AM. Keep noise level low and within your campsite. Be a good neighbor. Anyone reported or witnessed being loud or disruptive will be warned only once and then asked to leave without a refund and prevent any future stay. If you observe any activity you believe to be of concern, please contact the office at (928) 445-9018 between 8am-4pm or after hours select option 6 (no texting). 

 

Wi-Fi Availability

Wi-Fi available throughout the campground for light web use only. No video streaming (Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, Zoom Calls, etc.). This is a FREE service we provide. If our guests do not follow guidelines, Wi-Fi interruptions may occur. We do not guarantee reception or lack of reception, which cannot be used as grounds for a cancellation, credit or refund.

 

Fires / Barbecue

Wood fires and pellet smokers are not allowed. Propane firepits and self-contained charcoal or propane BBQ grills are allowed. All open fires must be supervised.

 

Parking

Each paid registration covers 1 RV per site and 1 vehicle per site. Our guest parking (near restrooms) is for day use and visitors of our registered guests only. No parking in common areas or campsites that are not registered to you. Please refrain from parking on the roadways that can block traffic and do not block our trash boxes, bathrooms, or laundry room ADA ramps.

 

Unauthorized RV/Vehicle

We are a very busy park. To avoid interruption to confirmed reservations, security is prompt in responding to unknown RVs or vehicles. If we can’t locate the owner, we will boot and tow the RV or vehicle at the owner’s expense. Be sure you park in your authorized/assigned campsite only.

 

Laundry Hours / Policy

As a courtesy to our guests, we offer a laundry facility. Our laundry room is open 830 AM-330 PM (last load in by 2 PM) We sell rolls ($10) of quarters only. Do not wash pet items or rugs. Stay with your laundry and clean up after use.

 

Group Reservation

Group leader is responsible to assign their group members to available campsites. We would prefer each member of your group to go online and book their own campsite for liability reasons. If not, the group leader can book all campsites with one reservation. Group leader must provide campsite information to group members as we do not share guest information due to legal reasons. If a guest needs to know where group members are located, they must get this information from the group leader.

 

Severe Weather / Monsoon Season

In case of severe weather and during monsoon season (June-September), keep your awnings rolled in when away from your campsite. In case of water outage, please be sure to keep your freshwater tank full. During these months mosquito activity is high, be prepared. Monitor local weather for any alerts.

During winter months (December - February), Point of Rocks has freezing temperatures and occasional snow. Please be prepared and verify that your RV is classified as 4 seasons ready. Our water lines are heated and insulated, but regular water hoses will freeze, so be sure to remove and empty your hose during freezing temperatures. We recommend using a heated water hose. Utilize your furnace, and tank heaters if you have them, to heat and protect your RV pipes and tanks. Never completely fill your water tank in case furnace heat fails.

 

Electrical Use

You are responsible for understanding how many AMPs you are using in your RV. AMP usage over the 30 or 50 AMPs provided can trip your breaker. If our breaker constantly trips, please stop use immediately. Please notify the office if you have any electrical issues so our maintenance staff can address the situation. Guests are not permitted to diagnose our electrical pedestals for insurance and safety requirements.

 

Washing / Maintenance

Washing RVs or vehicles is prohibited. Feel free to contact Attention2Detail, a local company that brings a power wash trailer to your campsite. Repairs to RVs and vehicles are not permitted in our park. We are happy to provide contact information for a local Mobile RV Repair Company that will come to your site to assist you with any repairs. Attention2Detail

 

Trash Disposal

Trash cans are located throughout the park and are indicated on your campground map. Please tie trash bags and dog waste bags closed and put your trash completely in the trash container. If the first can is full, please find another container. Do not place your trash on the ground. Please do not dispose of wires, oil, TV’s, furniture, mattresses, or any toxic waste or chemicals in our trash cans. Please utilize our metal cans for safely disposing of charcoal only. Failure to adhere to this rule may result in charges for damages to property. Dog waste bags are available for free. Dog waste bag stations are located near sites 56B, 96, and 19.

 

Fireworks and Firearms

All fireworks are strictly prohibited in our park including sparklers, smoke bombs, aerials, and firecrackers. All firearms must be kept in a case and can only be carried between your RV and vehicle. Firearms cannot be carried or used within the campground or surrounding areas.

 

Pet Policy (maximum 2 pets)

We are a pet-friendly campground and ask that you follow these rules to ensure all guests have an enjoyable stay. Point of Rocks RV Campground has the sole discretion to exclude any pet. The basis for exclusion may include but is not limited to the following: breed-specific exclusions, are sick, are aggressive, vicious, noisy, dangerous, or potentially dangerous, require muzzling, are easily frightened or sensitive, resulting in disruptive behavior (such as fighting or biting) in response to a stimulus.

Breed Exclusions: Due to Insurance Requirements, no Chow, Doberman, Rottweiler, or any “Pit Bull” type breeds, including American Staffordshire etc. are allowed in the park. No exotic pets. (Dogs & cats only).

Be a good neighbor: Immediately clean up after your pet. Do not let your pet deposit waste on your site or any of our other guests’ sites please. Failure to clean up after your pet will result in you being asked to leave without a refund. Dog waste bags are available for free. Bag stations are located near sites 56B, 96, and 19. Pets may not be left unattended in our park. Dogs must always be on a max 6-foot leash while outdoors. Please do not allow your pets in the laundry room, restrooms or in the office. Do not utilize our laundry machines to wash pet items. Other guests can be allergic and concerned with pets.

Assumption of Risk and Release. I understand that my permission to have my pet at the Campground with me is a privilege and not a contractual right. Such permission is expressly conditional upon my adherence to the terms of these rules and other rules in effect at any given time. I understand that the Campground may revoke such permission at any time for any reason. Additionally, I hereby assume all responsibility of risks, injury, damage, and/or other harm that may occur while my dog is at the Campground or caused by my dog. Further, I hereby knowingly and voluntarily expressly release and discharge the Campground, its owner, its agents, its parent companies, members, managers, directors, officers and employees (“Released Parties”) from any and all claims, damages, liabilities, injuries, demands, or causes of action, both present and future, whether known, unknown, anticipated or unanticipated, that me or my guests or invitees may have against any of the Released Parties arising out of or incident to my pet’s presence in the Campground, whether arising from any act or omission, whether negligent or otherwise, of me, my dog and/or any guest or invitee. I further agree to indemnify each of the Released Parties for any and all such claims, damages, liabilities, injuries, demands, or causes of action, including costs, expenses, and attorney’s fees arising as a result of or related to the presence of the pet at the Campground. This provision shall be enforceable to the fullest extent of the law.

 

Policy Violations

Point of Rocks RV Campground reserves the right to require any person or party it deems necessary, to leave the campground based on violations of Park Rules or behavior that management deems inappropriate or disturbing to others. Harassment or mistreatment of our staff or other guests will not be tolerated under any circumstances. I have read this notice and agree to it as well as all Point of Rocks RV Campground Rules and regulations. In addition, I understand that I am responsible for the actions of all persons registered in my party, including any children, and any guests that visit during my stay.

 

Video and Photographic Images

On behalf of each person in my party, I grant Point of Rocks RV Campground and its affiliated entities and promotional partners the right to include any photographic, video, and other visual portrayals of each person in my party in any medium and for any purpose.

 

Term and Conditions

By accepting this reservation, Guest hereby waives, releases and discharges and covenants not to sue Point of Rocks RV Campground for all claims and liability for personal injury, accidents, property damage, any other claim arising out of or in connection with Guest’s use of the property. Point of Rocks RV Campground, its owners and agents release all liability to me, my children, my invitees/guests, personal representatives, and heirs for any loss or damage on account of injury to person (including death) or loss or damage to property relating to, or arising out of, use and occupancy of the Point of Rocks RV Campground property, facilities, amenities, and any dangers and hazards associated with acts of nature such as changing weather conditions; high winds; thunder and lightning; temperature fluctuations; falling trees; tree limbs, ice; or encounters with wildlife or owner pets. Guest further agrees to be responsible and liable for the actions and safety of every person in their group. Point of Rocks RV Campground reserves the right to remove any guest who is subject to a lifetime registration requirement under a State sexual offender registration program.

Campground guests are financially responsible for any damage to property, intentional or accidental.  Willful damage or defacing of campground property will be cause for immediate eviction and prosecution.

As a courtesy, if you requested an employee of Point of Rocks RV Campground to help direct you to your designated campsite, you must adhere to this waiver. It is your sole responsibility to ensure that the site will accommodate your specific trailer/RV and that you will not hit any branches, rocks, trees, etc. when positioning your RV on the campsite. You agree to indemnify and hold Point of Rocks RV Campground, LLC, its owners, and agents harmless from any loss, liability, damage, or cost (including attorney’s fees) that may result from an employee assisting or directing you onto a campsite. Furthermore, you release, waive, discharge and covenant not to sue Point of Rocks RV Campground Owners and agents for all liability, loss, or property damage relating to an employee assisting/directing you to your site.

I understand that I am and remain personally liable to pay the total amount of my reservation prior to my scheduled check-in date, or at such earlier date communicated to me.  If I fail to pay the total due, I agree that Point of Rocks RV Campground may charge any remaining balance (in additional to any damage charges or other amounts owed under these Terms and Conditions) to any credit or debit card on file with my reservation.

 

Acknowledgment

By signing below, I acknowledge that I have read and agree to the foregoing Terms & Conditions and fully understand its provisions and implications. My execution of this Release is entirely voluntary. I have read this Animal Waiver and understand it is my responsibility to abide by the Rules. I further understand that it is my responsibility to ensure that my guests and invitees also comply with the Rules. Failure to adhere to the policies and rules set forth herein may result in my removal from the Campground without a refund.
