Cancellation Policy

Cancellations

  • Reservations can only be cancelled by contacting Prairie Oasis Park directly at 403-854-PARK
  • To receive a full refund of your camping fees, cancellations must be made more than 72 hours of the originally scheduled arrival date.
    • 1 night penalty if notice is less than 72 hours but more than 48 hours of the originally scheduled arrival date.       
    • 2 nights penalty if notice is less than 48 hours but more than 24 hours of the originally scheduled arrival date.
    • 3 nights penalty if notice is less than 24 hours of the originally scheduled arrival date
  • The $12 initial online reservation fee is non-refundable.
  • Camping fee refunds are applied to the card used for the original transaction.
  • As camping conditions are highly variable, the reservation fee is non-refundable except in the event of a campground closure.
  • Refunds are not given for weather, wildlife, insects, water or air quality, fire or liquor bans, vehicles or trailer trouble, closed facilities, advisories (except for a campground closure) or in the case of an eviction

Late Arrivals/No Shows

  • You must notify a member of the SAB Park team via the SAB Parks Info Line (403-854-PARK) of a late arrival.
    • A late arrival is a planned arrival after 11:00 a.m. of the day following your scheduled arrival date. 
    • If notice of a late arrival is not provided and the camper does not register by 11:00 a.m. of the day following the scheduled arrival date, the reservation is considered a "no-show” and will be cancelled. The campsite will be released for resale.
    • Up to three nights camping fees will be forfeited, depending on the length of your stay. Any remaining camping fees will be refunded to the card used for the original transaction.

Changing a Campsite Registration

  • Changes to a registration (after arrival at the campground) must be made by SAB Parks Staff.
  • To receive a full refund of camping fees, changes to your arrival date must be made more than 72 hours before the originally scheduled arrival date.
  • To receive a full refund of the camping fees, changes to your departure date must be made more than 72 hours before the revised departure date.
  • Insufficient notice penalties: 
    • 1 night penalty if less than 72 hrs but greater than 48 hrs notice before the orginally scheduled arrival date.
    • Up to 2 nights penalty if less than 48 hrs but greater than 24 hrs notice before the orginally scheduled arrival date.
    • Up to 3 nights penalty if less than 24 hrs notice before the orginally scheduled arrival date.
