ROUGHRIDER CAMPGROUND PARK RULES

The Roughrider Campground is privately owned. You are responsible for understanding and complying with the following park rules and regulations, as well as any posted rules and regulations. Violations of any of the rules by any member of your camping unit, or any guests of yours, may result in your entire camping unit and members being required to leave the park immediately.

1.   Respect the right of your neighbors to peaceful enjoyment of the park. Any noise from your unit that can be heard in your neighbor's unit, or by people walking by your unit, is too loud. Residents will be given notice of any problem behavior that must be corrected immediately.

2.   Every person is required to be registered at the park office. This includes all guests that visit. All guests must be signed in at the office. Only those persons registered on your account are authorized to reside in your unit. Any unauthorized persons found to be residing with you will be asked to leave the site and are subject to removal by law enforcement. You will be responsible for additional cost incurred. All guests must be signed in prior to the office closing. After the office closes any guests that arrive will be asked to leave and return in the morning.

3.   Guests of yours at the park are expected to abide by all park rules and regulations. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ACTIONS OF YOUR GUESTS.

4.   Do not engage in any illegal or other activity that causes state or local law enforcement officials to take action on the park property. Obey all state and local laws and ordinances. The manufacture, sale or use of illegal drugs anywhere on the property is prohibited. Belligerent or threatening conduct toward other residents, visitors, or staff will not be tolerated. Use of or the threatened use of firearms, air rifles, archery set, knives, or weapons of any kind is prohibited in the park. If there is any conduct dealing with weapons you will be asked to leave immediately.

5.   Campfires permitted ONLY in designated areas. DO NOT move fire pits without permission. Please do not bring in wood from outside the campgrounds; we have wood for sale at the office.

6.   NO FIREWORKS IN THE PARK.

7.   Residents shall store with extreme caution kerosene, gasoline or other flammable or explosive material near their unit, please do not store them under your unit.

8.   The maximum speed limit in the park is 5 MPH. Slow down and please watch for children.

9.   Park only directly in front of or behind your unit. Do not park on the side of your unit or where grass is or should be. We will continue to work on landscaping throughout the year. Do not destroy, deface damage or remove any item from the park. This includes painting, writing on or scratching your name or any other words on pic-nic tables, any buildings or walls, ceilings, fences.

10.  Residents must not tamper with any equipment on the property. You will be held liable for any damages to the park and this includes any damages that your children may cause.

11.  Personal property of any kind shall not be kept outside the unit, unless it is properly stored inside your vehicle. We are not responsible for any stolen items.

12.  Resident is responsible for disposing of all trash into dumpsters provided by the park. Under NO circumstances may any resident stack garbage outside of the unit.

13.  Sewer seals and leveling block are required. Power Surge Protectors are required between the RV and the parks pedestal. Failure to do so Roughrider is not responsible for damage to the guests property/RV.

14.  Rent is due on or before the ISt of each month. If you are not paid in full by the close of business on the 5th of the month, your card on file will be charged. If your card is declined, you will be asked to leave the park immediately and subject to loss of deposit.

15.  Satellite dishes are not to be placed outside of your site. They can't be put on a permanent pole and they can't be placed on a tree and must be able to be moved. We have many trees that may interfere with a signal, so you may want to consider this before committing to a contract. If your satellite is not attached to your unit, it may sit directly in front of or behind your unit. If it is placed in such a manner that the wires are in the way of park maintenance, staff is NOT responsible for any damages that occur.

16.  You are responsible for supervising your children. Children should not be left unsupervised. Children should be attended by a parent or responsible guardian when they are on the playground. Should staff see your children bullying or picking on any other children they will be asked to leave the playground and not be allowed back on it until they can behave themselves. Staff are not babysitters and cannot be responsible for any guests children.

17.  The Oxbow river overflow area on the south side of the park is off limits please keep your children from wandering down to the waters edge. The areas that people are allowed around the oxbow are the grassy areas that are maintained by the staff.

18.  Dumpsters are located on the back of the park across from the shop, please don't throw your garbage anywhere other then the dumpster

19.  Please don't walk though other guests campsites. Stay on the road or in the grass behind those sites. No glass bottles outside of your own campsite please. Do not place garbage, food or any other debris in the fire pits please. If you are going to drink alcohol, please do so responsibly and absolutely no alcohol in the sandy area of the playground.

20.  Do not move to another site without prior approval from the office. If you move to another site without approval you will be asked to return to your assigned site or you could be asked to leave the park.

21.  The use of surge protectors and water regulators is highly recommended. We accept no responsilility for damage to Electrical and Water systems.

Pet Policy

•     Each dog must be approved by staff.

•     Any animal that displays vicious, dangerous, or aggressive behavior is not allowed.

      No pit-bulls, rottweilers, etc.

•     Pets must have current shots and have ID tag at all times.

•     Pets MUST be on a leash when outside the unit and may not be left outside unattended.

•     Any pet that is persistently noisy and becomes a disturbance must be quieted or removed from the park.

•     You are responsible for picking up and properly disposing of pet droppings immediately or you may be asked to leave.

      *A fee of $25 will be charged if the park has to cleanup after your pets! 

Should you become aware of criminal activity anywhere on this property, please report it to the office staff and local police or sheriff's office. Residents are to report to staff any damage to the park as soon as such damage occurs. If you plan to be away from your unit for an extended period of time (2 weeks or more), please notify office and leave proper contact information. Roughrider Campground and its staff reserve the right to refuse service to anyone and to change these rules and regulations at anytime without prior notice.  Failure to comply with any of the above rules can be subject to immediate termination of stay without refund and can result in towing of unit at owner's expense. Treat other guests the way that you would want to be treated, with kindness, courtesy and respect and your stay here will be a memory to be cherished forever.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

YOU MUST NOTIFY ROUGHRIDER NO LATER THAN NOON CENTRAL TIME (12:00pm CST) 48 HOURS PRIOR TO YOUR RESERVATION CHECK IN DAY OR HALF OF YOUR STAY THATS RESERVED WILL BE CHARGED.
**IF YOUR RESERVATION IS DURING THE ND STATE FAIR,  OR HOSTFEST, YOU MUST CANCEL WITHIN 48 HOURS PRIOR TO YOUR RESERVATION CHECK IN DAY OR YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE TO PAY ALL OF YOUR RESERVED STAY.**
