Cancellation & Refund Policy

I understand and agree that CJS does not give credit or refunds due to the discomforts of nature or inclement weather. In the case I need to cancel my reservation at CJS, I understand that my payments are nonrefundable according to the following:

Family Adventure Camp and Individual Camping – Any reservation containing less than four sites can be cancelled for a full refund, less a 10% cancellation fee, if greater than seven days is given. Reservations cancelled seven days or less prior to the start date will not be refunded.

Group Campsites – Group camping is defined as any booking containing four or more sites. Group Campsites are nonrefundable if cancelled 30 days or less prior to the date of arrival. Reservations cancelled greater than 30 days from the arrival date will be refunded in full, less a 10% cancellation fee. NOTE: The booking system will allow cancellation of this type of site according to the individual policy above; however, no refund will be approved by the administrator if the group reservation is cancelled 30 days or less.  Please contact FSB.Camp.Sawyer@scouting.org prior to online cancellation if this is unclear as your sites will become available for another group to book once cancelled online.

Hurricane Cancellation – In the event your reservation is cancelled by Florida Sea Base due to a tropical storm or hurricane, your reservation will be refunded in full. You will be notified as soon as possible if cancellation must occur due to safety.
