Terms of Service

Weekends

  • 1 Night deposit is required within 10 days of making reservation.
  • 72 Hour (3 days) cancellation notice is required for a refund.
    (Must call by 2:00 PM 72 hours prior)
  • $10.00 Processing fee will be deducted per site cancelled.
  • Sites will be considered cancelled at 2:00 PM 24 hours after date reserved for no shows or no notice.
    (No refund even if site is re-booked)
  • Refunds will not be given for inclement weather.

Holiday Weekends

  • Memorial, 4th of July, Labor Day
  • 3 Night minimum stay is required.
  • 2 Night deposit is required within 10 days of making reservation.

Halloweens

CHECK-IN TIME: 2:00 PM
CHECK-OUT TIME: 1:00 PM
ALL VISITORS MUST REGISTER UPON ARRIVAL

Pool

  • No eating, drinking or smoking.
  • Read all posted rules prior to entering pool area.
  • Must be 18 years or accompanied by an adult.
  • Must have a minimum of 2 adults inside pool gate, one must remain on pool deck. 
  • No lifeguard provided.

Dumpster Usage

  • Read signs on barrels and sort your recyclables accordingly. Rinse all recyclables
  • No trash such as lawn chairs, grills, carpet, refrigerators, TVs, awnings, etc. is to be left at the dumpster. Our garbage service does not remove those items. They are to be taken out of Sun Valley Campsites to be disposed of by you. Boxes must be broken down.

Pet Policy

  • Dogs of any breed that are hostile or aggressive will be asked to leave the campground. 
  • Dogs must be kept on a short leash at all times not to extend past site boundary
  • Pet litter must be picked up immediately
  • Do not leave dogs unattended at your site
  • When walking your dog, pet is to be kept on a short leash at all times
  • Pet owner is completely responsible for the action of their pet
  • If your pet is too vocal, you'll be asked to take the dog out of the campground. This determination will be based on constant barking and camper complaints
  • You must show current vaccination records for all pets

General Campground Usage

  • Sun Valley Campsites is owned and operated on private property. We have a zero tolerance for the use of marijuana. While marijuana may be legal it is not permitted anywhere on our private property. Anyone violating this policy will be forced to leave the property immediately. Refunds/deposits will not be reimbursed for those that violate our rules and regulations.

  • All motorized scooters, hoverboards or electric bikes are not allowed

  • Don't walk through other camper's yards. Stay on roads and paths.

  • Radio, stereos, etc. should be heard only at your site.
  • No loud, abusive, or indecent language.
  • Alcoholic beverages are to be used in moderation.
  • No moving of fire rings.
  • Campfires are to be built in fire rings only and kept under control.
  • Fires must be extinguished when you retire for the evening.
  • Parents are responsible for the whereabouts, safety and actions of their children. NO minors are to be left alone on the premises, and must be at their campsite by 11:00 pm.
  • Parents must accompany children under 6 years of age to the restrooms.
  • The Recreation Hall closes at 10:00 PM.
  • The speed limit is 5 mph. Drive carefully and obey road signs. Motor vehicles to be operated by licensed drivers only. All New York State laws are to be followed.
  • No bicycle riding on grass, including the playground.
  • Children under 14 years of age must wear a safety helmet when bicycling.
  • Smoking is not permitted in any public building, including the pool.
  • No pets are permitted in any public building.
  • No golf carts and no electric or battery operated cars.
  • No gas-powered generators, mini bikes, chainsaws, etc. are to be operated on the campground without permission of the management.
  • Electronic heaters and electric water heaters are prohibited by overnight or weekend campers.
  • Exterior refrigeration must be padlocked.
  • No fireworks permitted.
  • Washing of vehicles is not permitted.
  • No soliciting or competitive sales allowed anywhere on the premises.
  • Quiet hours are from 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
  • Children must be off playground at dark.
