CAMPSITES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE: In Campspot, "Campsite Optimization" is an automated reservation feature that acts like an intelligent Tetris game for a campground's booking map. It automatically shifts existing reservations in real-time to eliminate empty gaps, allowing park staff to maximize their occupancy and reduce internal daily moves. Grid optimization takes place from the point of booking up until 72 hours or three days ahead of a reservation check-in date. If it’s any closer to arrival, the booked site will no longer be moved.
