A.   Be Considerate of Fellow Guests

1.    Quiet hours are between 10pm and 8am. No loud music, illegal activities, public intoxication, or lewdness.  No yelling, bullying, or threats.  No profane, foul, disrespectful, aggressive, or threatening behavior.  No abusive language in public or toward another.  No disrupting the peace, comfort, and well being of others.  Please respect one another, including our staff (they work very hard to accommodate our guests each day).  Please BE KIND, always.  Remember, you get a lot more with honey than vinegar : )

2.    No walking between camp sites, please respect your neighbor’s privacy and campsite.

3.    Children 12 and under must be supervised by an adult at all times.  No standing in swings, standing or jumping on cornhole games.  No breaking tree branches or unruly behavior by children.  Please accompany your children throughout the park.

 

B.    Save Our Trees…Everyone Loves Them, You Will Too!

1.     NO OPEN FLAMES / FIRES ON PROPERTY AT ANY TIME.  No firepits, candles, or tiki torches, at your campsite, throughout campground, or on the beach.  Only the community fire pit at "The Hangout” is allowed on property which you are welcome to enjoy.  We sell oak firewood at the office.  The community firepit is located under our beautiful Oak trees with magical streaming lights.  We don’t allow open flames for two reasons: to protect our magnificent trees that are irreplaceable and because we believe in "community"…getting back to the basics and interacting with one another the old-fashioned way…in person. So, please help us protect our special trees and enjoy meeting your neighbor!  Anyone caught using open flames will be charged a $300 fine and asked to leave immediately with no refund.   We appreciate your understanding and love of our trees.

2.    Grills are allowed at your site, must be self-contained propane or charcoal covered grills, with legs, & monitored at all times.

3.    Charcoal ashes/ coals must be “COLD” & disposed of in our designated silver trash “ASHES ONLY” can next to the dumpster at front, NOT on the ground or in drains.

4.    No nailing, screwing, or attaching anything to a tree.  No cutting or breaking any part of a tree, EVER.  No clothes lines allowed.

5.    NO FIREWORKS in campground, on beach, or pier at any time. Fireworks are managed solely by Hideaway Management.

 

C.    Observe Standard RV Regulations/ Rates/ Vehicles

1.     CHECK IN: 12pm-5pm   /   CHECK OUT: 11am.   Anyone departing after 11am will be charged a $40 Late Departure Fee. Anyone checking in after 5pm will be charged a Late Arrival Fee of $50 and an After-Hours appointment must be scheduled for parking with the office prior to your day of arrival. All late arrivals must be setup by 9pm to prevent disturbing guests within the campground.  If guest does not arrive on their scheduled arrival date, or call the office to inform us of their delay, the guest will be considered a NO SHOW and their reservation will be cancelled with no refund. 

2.     Backflow preventer and proper sewer connections (rubber donut or universal connector and sewer slinky/ support) needed. 

3.     No dumping gray or black water on ground at any time.

4.     Limit of 2 vehicles per reservation. One vehicle per site allowed at no charge.  Extra Vehicle $10 per day.  Monthly Vehicle Charge - $50.  Max 3 boats on property at one time, based on first come first serve.  Boat-Trailer-RV $15 per day.  Monthly Boat Trailer- $105.  Extra vehicles to park in overflow area up front to right of bathhouse.  Boats/ trailers to park in assigned area by office staff.  Golf carts allowed and a fee charged unless you can fit it on your site.  Please situate your RV toward the far end of your site to allow room for your vehicle if possible.  Please place your PARKING PASS on the dash of your vehicle.  All unregistered vehicles without a Parking Pass will be towed at owner’s expense.  No parking in empty sites or on waterfront.  No tents in RV sites.

5.     No parking on grass.  No rugs, mats, tents, dog runs, or gazebos placed on grass.  Grass is watered daily, usually in the AM, please remove any items you do not want potentially wet.

6.     When checking availability online, if nothing is available, please call the office at 850-939-2717.  When booking, you are guaranteed a site category, not a specific site number. However, you may lock in a specific site number to get the site of your choice for a $35 Lock Fee. It is the guest’s responsibility to request a full hookup site and to ensure they are booking the correct 30 or 50amp site to accommodate their camper and bring their own extensions/ adapters, if needed.  It is tent camper’s responsibility to ensure they are booking a site with power/ water, if needed, and to bring their own power/ water extensions.

7.     Rates are subject to change at any time at the discretion of Hideaway Management.  Rates are based on complimentary 2-person occupancy per reservation, maximum of 6 people per site.  Extra Person- $5.00 per day, per person- Monthly Guests one-time fee $20 per extra person.  Visitor(s) of guests will be charged a $5 Day Pass, per day, per person and $15 per vehicle, max one vehicle.  Visitors to be accompanied by registered guest on property at all times.  All guests / visitors must sign Camp Rules and their vehicles MUST be registered in office, and a Parking Pass issued, or it is subject to be towed at owner’s expense. 

8.     All items rented/borrowed from The Hideaway, such as adapters, electrical cords, etc., that are not returned to the office prior to departure, guest’s card on file will be charged accordingly.  For example, $300 per electrical cord and $100 per adapter, etc.

9.    The Hideaway Retreat, as a courtesy, may assist guest as an "additional spotter" while parking into or departing from their site.  This is only a courtesy.  Guest accepts full responsibility for safely and comfortably maneuvering through the property and parking in and out of their site and are fully responsible for their RV / property and any damage, injury, or loss that guest may incur at any time.  Guest indemnifies and holds harmless The Hideaway Retreat for any & all loss, damage, injury, or expense, that guest may incur.

 

D.   Keep Park Clean and Neat

1.    Litter to be picked up and garbage to be bagged and taken to the large green dumpster in northeast corner of park.  Only household waste allowed no disposing of furniture etc.  No bags left on ground outside of dumpster.  No household food or trash bags in small silver trash cans throughout property.  No food or garbage, to be left outside of RV to attract wildlife. Please clean your site before departing.  No trash left behind, or guest will be charged a $50 Cleaning Fee.

2.     No washing dishes in laundry sink. No washing pet bedding in washing machines.  No dumping sand in laundry sink or on floor. Please knock off beach towels and clothing outside before entering building and washing items.

3.     No washing RV’s, boats, or vehicles on property at any time.  No renovation or maintenance on RV or vehicle allowed.  All light maintenance must be approved by The Hideaway Retreat Management prior to work starting. If guest or their camper poses a potential threat or hazard of any kind, The Hideaway Retreat reserves the right to ask guest to immediately vacate the premises and remove their camper.

4.     No smoking in or around office area, bathhouse, or laundry. No discarding cigarette butts on the ground, in firepit, or in dumpster.  If caught a $150.00 fine will be charged to guest’s card on file.  Please help us protect our beautiful trees. No using the community firepit as a trashcan, $50 cleaning fee to apply when caught.

5.    Notify the office before cleaning fish to get the Fish Cleaning Policy. All parts/pieces from the fish to be double bagged and discarded in dumpster only. No liquids/parts of fish dumped in sewer or buried anywhere in campground.

 

E.   Take Precautions in Park, on Beach, in Water, on Pier

1.     No digging in sand or building sandcastles on Seawall, this may be done down on Hidden Beach at waterfront, please cover all holes. No standing, sitting, or running along the edge of seawall.  Please stay off the edge of seawall.  No climbing on rocks.  No diving or jumping from Deck, Seawall, or Pier at any time.  No lifeguard on duty.  Swim at your own risk.

2.     No personal vehicles (bicycles, tricycles, motorbikes, motorcycles, etc.) on beach or pier.

3.     No camping on beach or pier at any time.

4.     No parking along the waterfront. 

5.     No campfires or firepit on beach, ever!  No fireworks on beach or anywhere on property.

6.     Shoes to be worn and flashlights carried at night, undeveloped areas with wildlife border the park.

 

F.   Pet Policy

1.     3 pets per site allowed, additional pets to be approved by management.  Daily Guests: one-time $5 Pet Fee, per pet to apply.  Monthly Guests: one-time $15 Pet Fee, per pet to apply. Cats are complimentary.

2.     Dog waste must be picked up immediately. We love your pets staying with us, but we have a strict POO POLICY.  First offense: $50 fine.  Second offense: guest will be asked to leave with no refund.

3.     Pets must be on a leash when outside of RV.  Pets are NOT to be left tied up or left unattended outside at any time.  Owners must always have control over their pets.  Owners to keep barking at a minimum, no excessive barking that disturbs the peace.  No dog runs or fencing allowed.

4.     Dogs are allowed on our POOCH BEACH from 7:00-9:00am & 3:00-5:00pm. Pets must always be accompanied by their owner. 

5.   The Hideaway Retreat takes NO responsibly or liability for your pets’ behavior or actions.  Pet owners take full responsibility for all bodily injury, property damage, or medical payments caused by their pet(s).

 

G.  Booking & Rates

When booking online, if your search results reflect, no sites available, please call the office at 850-939-2717.  When booking you are guaranteed a site category, not a specific site number. However, you may lock in a specific site number to get the site of your choice for a $35 Lock Fee. G.  Cancellation & Refund Policy

Guest must cancel 14 days or sooner from their date of arrival to receive a full refund minus a $35 booking fee.  Guest may reschedule their reservation dates if done so prior to 14 days of arrival date and receive a full credit toward their next stay minus a $35 booking fee. No refunds will be given for cancellations or changes made to a reservation within 14 days of arrival date.  No Refunds for early departure for any reason.  No Refunds due to weather or acts of nature of any kind.  Monthly reservations require a 30 day cancellation and a $500 non-refundable deposit. 

If guest does not arrive on their scheduled Arrival Date, and does not notify the office of their delay, guest will be considered a NO SHOW and their reservation will be cancelled with no refund.  

Violation(s) may result in eviction from the park without refund.  Florida Statue Chapter 513.13 allows campgrounds to establish rules. The Hideaway Management reserves the right to evict guest or refuse service or limit stay for any guest or RV.
