Terms of Service

WARNING: Under Ohio law, there is no liability for an injury to or death of a camper or visitor to this campground if that injury or death results from the risk inherent to camping. Inherent risks to camping include, but are not limited to, the risk of injury inherent to land features, equipment, animals, or the negligent actions of the camper or visitor. You are assuming the risk of participating in camping.

When arriving to the camping resort, please use the inside lane, to talk to an attendant at the window. The attendant will collect any fees due, help you with directions to your site, along with giving you your car tag, list of activties, and food truck menus (if applicable) We ask that you stay in your car upon arrival. Early Arrival / Late Departure: may be available depending on availability. Please contact the office to coordinate early arrival or a late departure and for pricing.

 

All facilities on our property are smoke free. 

 

Firewood: We offer firewood for sale on site. In accordance with state law, wood MAYNOT be transported across county lines, to help with the spread of invasive species. 

 

Sleeping Structures: Each Site is allowed two sleeping structures, which consists of only RV's (or cabins if you are renting from us) and tents. When you are utilizing an RV or Rental site, you are permitted to also set up one tent. You may not bring a second RV. If you are utilizing a tent site, you are permitted to have two tents. 

For all of our rentals: linens/bedding are not provided. Please plan accordingly to bring your own linens, bedding, pillows, etc, for your own comfort.

Rustic cabins: we provide a mini refrigerator & microwave.

Deluxe Cabins & Rental Campers: we do provide basic cookware, utensils, refrigerator, microwave, and coffee pot.

 

Quiet time: is 11pm till 9am.This means that all noise, including music must stop at the respctive quiet time. Failure to adhere to this policy will be cause for your removal from the camping resort. 

 

Swimming: is allowed at the beach area only during daylight hours (dawn to dusk). Parents/Guardians must be present and are responsible for their minors. Swimming is always at your own risk. A lifeguard may or may not be present during these hours.  

 

We have an AquaGlide water park in our lake. All guests under the age of 18 are required to wear a coast guard certified lifejacket. Certified lifejackets are available for rent, for a nominal daily fee. Each day requires a new rental fee. The AquaGlide is only open during certain hours of the day, typically 10a-6p Sundays, 12n - 6p Monday - Thursday, 10a-8p on Fridays, and 10a - 8p on Saturdays and a lifeguard is present. The AquaGlide hours do and will vary from the beach swimming hours. Please confirm with the office or lifeguard on duty for current hours for that day.

 

Campsite guests are responsible for the actions of everyone on their campsite, including but not limited to friends, families, children & guests. Children are not to be left unattended at any time. Children are not allowed to spend the day, night, or weekend without their parents/guardians. All guests under the age of 18 are to be at their own campsite by 11:00pm.  CHILDREN 15 & YOUNGER MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT AT ALL TIMES - NO EXCEPTIONS!

 

Twin Lakes Camping Resort will not tolerate abuse of alcohol. Anyone clearly inebriated will be asked to confine themselves to their campsite or they will be asked to leave the park. Alcoholic beverages must be contained to campsite. Drinking and driving, including golf carts is against the law.

 

Twin Lakes Camping Resort will not tolerate vandalism nor abusive language.

 

No cutting of trees or vegetation are allowed.

 

Garbage must be placed in plastic bags and taken to the dumpsters conveniently located throughout the camping resort. Do not leave it at your site.

 

One fire ring & one picnic table have been provided at each campsite for your convenience and enjoyment. Please do not move your fire ring onto a different spot in your campsite. Please ensure that campfires are extinguished (cool to the touch) prior to leaving your campsite. ONLY YOU CAN PREVENT WILD FIRES – ‘Smokey Bear’

 

All campsites come with four (4) guests; any additional guests must register at the camping resort office and pay the required fees, whether daily or overnight.

 

Pets are welcome in the camping resort. Your pets must be registered prior to your arrival and there is a daily pet fee, per pet.  All pets must be current on all vaccinations and available to the camping resort upon request. Your pets must be leashed and quiet. All pets are to be cleaned up after. Pets are not permitted at camping resort events unless specified.  Pets are not permitted in the beach/swimming area. Pets when tied up at your campsite, may not be a lead that is more than 10 feet long and moust not be able to reach a neighboring lot or the road. Our rental sites do not allow pets. No aggressive dogs or aggressive breeds will be permitted, primarily American Pit Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, American Bully, and Staffordshire Bull Terrier. This may be determined by management on a case-by-case basis.

 

Only emergency messages will be delivered to your campsite. Please check at the camping resort office for any expected messages. 

 

For personal golf carts brought into the camping resort, must be registered with the camping resort office and proof of insurance must be provided upon request. WE ONLY ALLOW GOLF CARTS ON THE PROPERTY.  A daily rate (currently set at $10 per night) is collected upon check in for use of a personal golf cart.

No ATV's, SUV's, minibikes, mopeds, side by side utility vehicles, dirt bikes, 3-Wheel Golf Carts or any other "off-road' vehicle .

 

Golf Carts may only be driven by individuals that are both licensed (must be presented at the time of rental) and over the age of 21. Golf carts must have headlights to be driven in the dark. Carts are ONLY to be driven on the roads. Please do not drive on the dam around the lakes, amphitheater, runway, or any posted service roads.  Golf carts are to be parked in designated parking areas only. We may extend, at our discretion, driving privilages to those under 21, but no less than 19, with a valid drivers license, for a daily rate of $10 per night. Golf Cart rental period is 2pm - 11am daily. 

 

For golf carts that are rented out by Twin Lakes Camping Resort, additional policies will be provided. A key deposit and a copy of the renter’s driver’s license will need to be provided upon the rental of a golf cart. Please do not drive on the dam around the lakes, amphitheater, runway, in the 'back 40' or any posted service roads. Golf carts are to be parked in designated parking areas only. All drivers will be wristbanded and must be 21 with have a valid drivers license on file with our office. 

 

Weekend camping fees includes water and electric usage . The Dump Station is included in weekend camping fees as well and is located in the front of camp, near the office. For seasonal campers.... Please consult the handbook & website for current pricing for utilities, including electric, sewer, and water.

 

Failure and or abuse to any rules, will cause Twin Lakes Camping Resort to enforce removal, prosecution, or both as required.
