Terms and Conditions

I agree, and shall cause my children, invitees and guests, to abide by the Park Rules, including those rules and policies published at our (Campsite Rules and Policies page), posted at the Premises or otherwise communicated in any manner by Wild Acadia Camping Resort management. 

I further understand and agree that Wild Acadia Camping Resort does not give credit or refunds due to the discomforts of nature. Wild Acadia Camping Resort refund policy varies, depending on the timing of the cancellation notice in advance of the reservation date and the type of reservation, as follows:

Campsites: If a reservation is cancelled more than 2 weeks prior to the arrival date we issue a full refund, minus a $25 transaction fee; or Camp Credit in the full amount can be elected. For a cancellation of a reservation more than 1 week, but less than 2 weeks, prior to the arrival date we issue Camp Credit for 50% of the payment and the balance is forfeited. For a reservation cancelled less than one week prior to the arrival date, the full amount of the reservation payment is forfeited.

Cabin Rentals: If a reservation is cancelled more than 3 weeks prior to the arrival date we issue a full refund, minus a $25 transaction fee; or Camp Credit in the full amount can be elected.  For a cancellation of a reservation more than 2 weeks, but less than 3 weeks, prior to the arrival date we issue camp credit for 50% of the payment and the balance is forfeited.  For a reservation cancelled less than two weeks prior to the arrival date, the full amount of the reservation payment is forfeited. 

Camp Credit can only be redeemed within one year of the cancelled reservation and can only be applied toward your campsite rental. For reservations paid with a credit card, refunds will be credited to the credit card on file with respect to reservation.

As a participant in a recreation activity, I am responsible for acting within the limits of my ability and heeding all warnings regarding participation in the activity. I will maintain control of myself and any equipment while participating in the activity and will refrain from acting in any manner that may cause or contribute to injury to myself or to others.

I HEREBY RELEASE, WAIVE, DISCHARGE AND COVENANT NOT TO SUE Allen Associates, LLC, d.b.a Wild Acadia Camping Resort, its owners and agents (collectively, Wild Acadia Camping Resort Management), from any and all liability to me, my children, my invitees/guests, personal representatives, and heirs for any loss or damage on account of injury to person (including death) or loss or damage to property relating to, or arising out of, use and occupancy of the Wild Acadia Camping Resort property, facilities, golf carts, amenities, pools, water park, fun park activities and amusements (collectively, the Premises) and any dangers and hazards associated with acts of nature such as changing weather conditions; high winds; thunder and lightning; temperature fluctuations; falling trees; tree limbs, ice; or encounters with wildlife.

I HEREBY AGREE TO INDEMNIFY, SAVE AND HOLD HARMLESS Wild Acadia Camping Resort Management, and each of them, from any loss, liability, damage or cost (including attorney fees) they may incur due to injury (including death), damage or loss of property relating to use of the Premises by me, my children, and/or my invitees/guests or due to any incidents that may occur during my stay. I understand that, although Wild Acadia Camping Resort Management makes every reasonable effort to provide a secure environment, the security of my person, my belongings, and all persons registered in my party is my sole responsibility.

As a courtesy, our employees, if so requested, may assist with directing you to your designated campsite. It is your sole responsibility to ensure that the site will accommodate your specific trailer/RV and that you will not hit any branches, bollards, trees, etc. when positioning your RV on the campsite. You agree to indemnify and hold Allen Associates, LLC, d.b.a Wild Acadia Camping Resort, its owners and agents (collectively, “Wild Acadia Camping Resort Management”) harmless from any loss, liability, damage or cost (including attorney’s fees) that may result from an employee assisting or directing you onto a campsite. Furthermore, you release, waive, discharge and covenant not to sue Wild Acadia Camping Resort Management for any and all liability, loss, or property damage relating to an employee assisting/directing you to your site.

The Premises are privately owned and THE WILD ACADIA CAMPING RESORT MANAGEMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE to anyone for any reason except for those prohibited by law. Wild Acadia Camping Resort Management reserves the right to require any person or party it deems necessary, to leave the campground based on violations of Park Rules or behavior management deems inappropriate or disturbing to others. Harassment or mistreatment of our staff or other guests, including but not limited to, racist comments or hate speech, will not be tolerated under any circumstances. I have read this notice and agree to it as well as all Wild Acadia Camping Resort Rules and regulations. In addition, I understand that I am responsible for the actions of all persons registered in my party, including any children, and any guests that visit during my stay. On behalf of each person in my party, I grant Wild Acadia Camping Resort and its affiliated entities and promotional partners the right to include any photographic, video and other visual portrayals of each person in my party in any medium and for any purpose.

I understand that I am and remain personally liable to pay the total amount of my reservation prior to my scheduled check-in date, or at such earlier date communicated to me.  If I fail to pay the total due, I agree that Wild Acadia Camping Resort may charge any remaining balance (in addition to any damage charges or other amounts owed under these Terms and Conditions) to any credit or debit card on file with my reservation.

Animal Waiver

I hereby agree to the following regulations and conditions relating to my dog while camping at Wild Acadia Camping Resort (“Campground”) with my dog.

·       Excluded Areas. I agree to keep my dog out of the following areas including, but not limited to, food and beverage areas, the pool and pool deck, the water park, the fun park, all indoor spaces, playgrounds and pavilions.

·       Excluded Dogs. I agree that the Campground has the sole discretion to exclude dogs. The basis for exclusion may include, but is not limited to the following: breed-specific exclusions; due to their young age are exempted from state or local law vaccination requirements; are sick; are in heat; are aggressive, vicious, dangerous or potentially dangerous; require muzzling; or are easily frightened or sensitive, resulting in disruptive behavior (such as fighting or biting) in response to a stimulus.

·       Supervision. I agree to keep my dog on a leash or in a carrier while in all public areas of the Campground. I further agree to have my dog with me or a designated individual at all times, and understand that I may not leave the dog unattended at the campsite. I agree to prevent noise or any other disturbance by my dog, in the interest of other guests at the Campground.

·       Vaccinations. I represent and warrant that my dog is up to date on all vaccinations (including rabies and distemper) and flea treatments.

·       Disturbances. I agree that, should my dog create any disturbances, which cause complaints to be made to the management by other guests or employees of the Campground, at the request of a Campground employee, I will immediately make arrangements to house my dog elsewhere outside the Campground. Additionally, I understand and agree that if I do not find alternative housing for my pet after being asked to do so, I will be asked to leave the Campground and will not be issued a refund.

·       Assumption of Risk and Release. I understand that my permission to have my dog at the Campground with me is a privilege and not a contractual right. Such permission is expressly conditional upon my adherence to the terms of these rules and other rules in effect at any given time. I understand that the Campground may revoke such permission at any time for any reason. Additionally, I hereby assume all responsibility of risks, injury, damage, other harm that may occur while my dog is at the Campground or caused by my dog. Further, I hereby knowingly and voluntarily expressly release and discharge the Campground, its owner, its agents, its parent companies, members, managers, directors, officers and employees (“Released Parties”) from any and all claims, damages, liabilities, injuries, demands, or causes of action, both present and future, whether known, unknown, anticipated or unanticipated, that me or my guests or invitees may have against any of the Released Parties arising out of or incident to my dog’s presence in the Campground, whether arising from any act or omission, whether negligent or otherwise, of me, my dog and/or any guest or invitee. I further agree to indemnify each of the Released Parties for any and all such claims, damages, liabilities, injuries, demands, or causes of action, including costs, expenses, and attorney’s fees arising as a result of or related to the presence of the dog at the Campground. This provision shall be enforceable to the fullest extent of the law.

·       Acknowledgment. By signing below, I acknowledge that I have read the foregoing Assumption of Risk & Release and fully understand its provisions and implications. My execution of this Release is entirely voluntary and intended to be binding on my heirs, executors, legal representatives and assigns.

I have read this Animal Waiver and understand it is my responsibility to abide by the Rules. I further understand that it is my responsibility to ensure that my guests and invitees also comply with the Rules. Failure to adhere to the policies and rules set forth herein may result in my removal from the Campground without a refund.

Additional Terms for campground pool use (not including water park)

·       NEVER SWIM ALONE.

·       Don’t drink alcohol and swim.

·       Only use this facility during posted hours of operation.

·       IN AN EMERGENCY, NOTIFY THE FACILITY OPERATOR AND CONTACT HELP AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

·       Children less than 14 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian (an adult who is responsible for the children and their behavior).

·       THERE IS NO SUBSTITUTE FOR ADEQUATE SUPERVISION.

GENERAL RULES/POLICIES

  • Open: May 17th, 2024– October 20th 2024.
  • Peak Season: June 15th, 2023– September 2nd, 2024.
  • Prior to Peak Season, the Fun Zone and Water Park is also open May 25, 26, 27 and June 1, 2, 8, and 9
  • Campsite Check-in time is 2:00pm
  • Campsite Check-out time is 12:00PM
  • Cabin Check-in: 4pm
  • Cabin Check out: 10am

 

  • Check-out: please let our staff know when you are checking out.
  • Registered guests staying at Wild Acadia Camping Resort receive full access to our fun park and water park activities during peak season. The Fun Park and Water Park are only fully open during peak season and the above mentioned weekends. Events and amenities have limited availability during non-peak season. Site rental prices vary based on what is open and available for activities and the number of guests per site. Resort guests have access to the Fun Zone and Water Park from check in until check out.   Please contact us for details. Guest should familiarize themselves with rules and restrictions for use of the fun park and water park prior to site purchase. Some restrictions may apply for younger or smaller guests. See details of activities here.
  • Specific campsites may be requested, but are not guaranteed. We do offer you the opportunity to guarantee your campsite location by paying our applicable locking fee. If you opt out of the locking fee, you are guaranteed your selected site type, but NOT the specific unit number.
  • We have adopted dynamic rates which fluctuate based on occupancy similar to the hotel and airline industry. With that being said, rates vary based upon availability and are subject to change with each search.
  • 1 camping unit and 1 car per site; extra vehicles must park in overflow lot and are subject to an additional parking fee. Vehicles must fit within the site.
  • One member of the group reserving a campsite must be 21 or older.
  • Flag Policy: The following flags are allowed to be displayed at your site and throughout the campground, American, other Country flags, Military, including Air Force, Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Coast Guard, POW, MIA, and veterans, sports and decorative flags such as holiday, seasonal or garden.
  • Recreational Vehicles: Golf Cart rentals are available. Bringing and using your own golf cart and/or other motorized recreational vehicles is prohibited.
  • Please no bicycle riding after dark; helmets are required
  • Campers may arrive on a motorcycle, but are not permitted to ride the vehicle around the park.
  • Bookings made during Memorial Day Weekend or Labor Day Weekend with a Sunday departure date will not be accepted, unless made within 1 week of booking.
  • Two-night minimum on all campsites.
  • Three night minimum on all Cabins.
  • Three-night minimum during Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day weekends.
  • Quiet hours: Daily 10PM – 7AM. Between these hours please be respectful of other guests and reduce noise and bright lights.
  • One camping unit per site.
  • Limit 6-8 people per site, depending on site type. Rates based on 4 people (3 years old and older). Additional person fees apply.
  • Site occupancy is limited to only those individuals named on your site agreement.
  • Max of two pets allowed at all RV campsites. · Pets of the registered RV site occupant are welcome, but limited to 2 pets per site. Guests or visitors may not bring pets with them. If they arrive with a pet, they will not be permitted to enter the park. Pet owner is responsible for noise and clean up. Pets may never be left unattended on Wild Acadia Camping Resort’s property. Pets are not allowed to stay in tents, pop ups, and hybrid units (only hard sided RV units). Pets must be leashed and controlled at all times. Owners must pick up after their pets. Pets are prohibited from all pool areas, playgrounds, the pavilion, the fun park, water park, food service areas, bathrooms and indoor public spaces. All guest with pets will be required to sign our pet policy in our terms and conditions at the time of booking. View our Pet Waiver (Here). We reserve the right to remove hostile pets from the parks.
  • 5mph Speed Limit: Please keep speed of vehicles, bicycles, and rental golf carts to a 5 mph maximum.
  • Vehicle Washing: Washing of vehicles and RV’s is prohibited.
  • Trash: Dumpsters are provided at several location. Please reference the resort map for locations. Please dispose of all trash appropriately and help keep our resort clean. Please do not burn trash in fire pits.
  • Swimming Pools: The water park is only open during peak season. The pools and water slides inside our water park are only to be used during posted open hours. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult while inside our water park and fun park. Our private camping resort pool is separate from our water park and hours fluctuate based on the season. This campgroundpool is for resort guests only, has no life guard and is swim at your own risk. All Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult when using the camping resort swimming pool area. All guests must follow rules posted at pools.
  • Fun Zone: The full Fun Zone is only open during peak season. Some activities may be available on a limited basis during off peak season. Please check schedule for availability. The Fun Zone is only available during posted open hours. All Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult when inside the Fun Zone facility.  Hours and availability may vary based on weather
  • Visitors: Visitors are welcome and must register and pay the guest fee. Guest fee price varies based on season and amenities available.
  • Trees: Please do not cut, damage, or climb in trees.
  • Restrooms and Showers: Restrooms and showers should not be used for washing dishes. Children should be supervised when using restrooms facilities. Please flush only toilet paper and what you have eaten.  Showers are coin operated and timed to help protect our resources. 
  • Open Fires: Fires are to only be built in provided fire rings. Fires are to be kept small, kept under control and supervised by an adult at all times. Fires should be completely extinguished with water before becoming unattended. In dry conditions, the local Fire Department may determine that fires are not allowed.
  • Fireworks are not permitted
  • Firearms and any item deemed as a weapon are strictly prohibited.
  • Alcohol: Alcohol is available for sale at the Camp Store. This is a family friendly camping resort, so please be considerate of others and refrain from loud and unseemly language. No glass is allowed at the water park or pool.·
  • Water Spigots: Maine Health Code requires a backflow valve on water spigots. Do not remove.
  • Dump Station: Dump station is to be used for all gray, black & portable tanks.
  • Car Tag: While at the park, make sure that a car tag is visibly displayed in all vehicles.
  • Please do NOT leave any trash or food outside. Wildlife is a serious issue and can cause severe damage when animals are tempted by food and coolers left out.
  • Smoking and Drug use: In order to provide a healthy environment for all of our guests, we prohibit smoking, E-cigarettes & Vaping in all buildings and public outside spaces. Illegal drugs are prohibited from the property.

CANCELLATION POLICIES: · We do not give credit or refunds due to the discomforts of nature. Our cancellation policy varies depending on the timing of your cancellation notice in advance of the reservation date.

Cabin Rentals:
3+ WEEKS in advance:
Refund minus $25 cancellation fee OR full refund issued in camp credit (expires in one year)

Between 2 and 3 WEEKS in advance:
50% of reservation issued in camp credit and 50% of reservation forfeited

LESS THAN 2 WEEKS in advance:
Full reservation forfeited

Campsites:

2+ Weeks in advance: Full refund minus $25 cancellation fee OR full refund issued in camp credit (expires in one year)

Between 1 and 2 weeks in advance: 50% of reservation issued in camp credit and 50% of reservation forfeited

Less than 1 week in advance: Full reservation forfeited

CHANGE POLICY:·

Changes to reservation arrival or departure dates made outside of the cancellation window (2+ weeks in advance) will result in a one-time courtesy change and every change made thereafter will be charged a $15 service fee.

Changes made inside the cancellation window (less than two weeks in advance) to decrease occupancy (resulting in a credit owed) will result in the issuance of a Camp Credit. Camp Credit will remain active on the User Account and will expire one year from issuance.

Reservation arrival or departure dates may not be changed inside the cancellation window (less than two weeks in advance).

 

PAYMENT POLICY:  A deposit is due at time of booking. We gladly accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. Are you struggling to pay your deposit? Give us a call to see how we can work with you.  For those bookings not paid in full, he remaining balance will be charged to your card 30 days prior to your arrival. 

 

NO SHOWS: Reservations will be held until check-out time on the day following your scheduled arrival. No shows will result in full forfeiture of funds.
