BRUSHCREEK CAMPGROUND RULES

DO NOT BRING FIREWOOD INTO THE CAMPGROUND.
Due to the Emerald Ash Borer quarantine within the state of Michigan,
the transportation of firewood is restricted. Firewood may be available for sale (or you may gather wood that has already fallen). Chainsaws and cutting of trees are prohibited.
LOCAL AND STATE NO-BURN RULES WILL BE POSTED AND ENFORCED
GENERAL
· Check-in and check-out time is 11 a.m.
· All persons must register before arrival.
· Minors under 21 cannot enter the campground unless accompanied by a registered adult.
· Campsite price is for four (2) person occupancy. Additional persons over 12 are an extra $5/per person/night.
· Only licensed drivers are permitted to drive vehicles within the campground premises. Observe the speed limit at all times. 'Cruising' the campground is prohibited.
· Washing vehicles and camping units are prohibited in the campground.
· Motorcycling, mini bike riding, and all-terrain vehicle (ATV) riding within the campground are prohibited.
· Parents and/or guardians are responsible for the actions, behavior, and safety of their minor children at all times. Minors are to be supervised at all times and are not to be left unattended in the campground. Children must be supervised in restrooms, showers, and in playground areas.
THERE IS NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY AT THE CREEK
· Minors must be at their campsite by 10 p.m. Michigan time. Parents/guardians are responsible for enforcing a curfew.
· Campers are responsible for the cleanliness of their campsite and are expected to properly dispose of trash in the provided containers.
· Alcoholic beverages must be confined to individual campsites. Intoxicated or disorderly persons will not be tolerated. Any use of illegal drugs will be reported to authorities. Smoking or consumption of alcoholic beverages by minors, may result in immediate ejection from the campground and/or report to authorities. Visiting hours end at 10 p.m. Michigan time. All visitors must register with the campground management. Overnight visitors must be registered with your reservation. Campers are responsible for their visitors both on and off their registered campsite.
PETS
· All pets must be registered at the campground office at the time of reservation or arrival.
· We prefer pets on a leash at all times or confined inside a camper/trailer regardless of their size.
· Pets may not be left unattended at any time.
· Pet waste must be cleaned up immediately.
· Pets creating a disturbance or those threatening other campers may be asked to leave the Park.
GARBAGE and REFUSE REMOVAL
· All garbage and refuse must be placed in plastic bags, tied, and disposed of inside the containers provided at the campground.
· Discarded furniture items of any kind, appliances, grills, bicycles, rugs, carpets, and all building items, cannot be placed in or around garbage containers they must be removed from the Park.
· Pails must be kept under sink drains and emptied into the dump station. State law prohibits the dumping of gray water on the ground.
Trash left in fire rings or sites may result in a clean-up fee.
FIRES (See the above firewood notice.)
Fires are to be contained in fire rings. Open fires on the ground are prohibited. Lumber with nails should not be used as firewood. All fires are to be put out before retiring or leaving
OTHER
· The following are prohibited in the campground: fireworks, firearms or weapons of any kind, illegal drugs, chainsaws, boom boxes, loud noises, and gas tanks over 40 pounds.
· Campground Management is not responsible for accidents or injury to guests or for the loss of money or valuables of any kind.
· Campground Management reserves the right to refuse entry into, or eject from the campground any person, adult or minor, deemed unwilling to abide by all campground Rules and Regulations.
· For everyone’s enjoyment and safety, please be courteous and respect the rights and property of other guests.
· IN THE EVENT OF SEVERE WEATHER TAKE SHELTER IN THE BATH HOUSE.
· Management's interpretation shall preside when a rule's meaning is in dispute. These rules may be amended as management deems necessary.
CANCELLATION POLICY
We are happy to provide a full refund less a $10 processing fee for cancellations made at least 7 days prior to the reservation start date. For cancellations made within a 7-day period, we can offer a refund minus a $30 fee.
