Park Policies
Check In / Check Out
Check in is at 1PM or after. You must be checked out by 11AM.
Late Check-Out Policy
Camp Elim may be able to arrange a late checkout, when agreed-upon ahead of time.
A late fee of $25 will be charged upon late departure without approval. In order to ensure availability for incoming guests, plan prompt departures.
Quiet Time Policies
Quiet time is 10 PM to 7 AM. Anyone playing loud music or making excessive noise will be warned only once and then asked to leave without a refund.
Mail/Packages
Camp Elim does not allow the delivery of mail or packages to any guests. Guests must make arrangements to have their mail or packages delivered to a third-party location for pickup.
Trash Disposal and Recycling
Tie trash bags completely closed and put your trash completely in the trash container. Please do not place your trash on the ground. Possums and racoons are attracted to left out or un-disposed food.
A dumpster is available on the north side of the park by the exit. Please do not dispose of any motor oil, cooking oil, wires, furniture, mattresses, or any toxic or hazardous waste items. Failure to adhere to this rule may result in charges for disposal fees.
Speed Limit
The park speed limit is 5 mph. This policy is to keep you, children, and all pets safe. Exceeding this speed limit will result in a warning. Multiple warnings will require us to ask you to leave. Safety is our number one priority for our guests.
Site and Park Navigation
Be respectful of your neighbor and do not walk between sites when navigating the park. Use main roads and designated public paths to walk around the campground.
Site Changes
You have been assigned a specific site, if you wish to move, contact us through our phone number. Due to reservations and maintenance, moving may not be possible. You must inquire before moving sites.
Parking
Each paid guest registration covers 1 RV per site and 2 vehicles per site unless noted. Extra vehicles will need to be parked in additional parking spots at the office. No parking in common areas. Do not park in the middle of the road. Do not park in sites that you did not register for and do not block the main road. Parking on the grass is not permitted.
Cancellation Policy
If cancellation is made 30 days in advance of the reservation start date, guests will incur a 75% refund.
If cancellation is made 14-29 days in advance of the reservation start date, guests will receive a 50% refund.
If cancellation is made 7-13 days in advance of the reservation start date, guests will receive a 25% refund.
No refunds are provided for cancellations made less than 7 days in advance of the reservation start date.
Fireworks and Firearms
Fireworks and the use of firearms are strictly prohibited in our park. The prohibition of fireworks includes sparklers, smoke bombs, aerials, and firecrackers. The prohibition of the use of any firearm includes all guns including air soft, BB, and pellet guns. If these items are seen outside of your RV, you will be asked to leave immediately without a refund.
Electrical Use
You are responsible for understanding how many amps you are using in your RV. Amp usage over the 50 AMPs provided can trip your breaker. Be mindful of your amp usage, so that you don’t trip your breaker during your stay.
Notify us if you have any electrical issues during your stay. Guests are not permitted to diagnose our electrical pedestals per insurance and safety requirements. We are happy to help. Even if you are an electrician, laws prohibit you from working on our pedestals unless hired to do so.
Safety and Emergencies
If you observe any activity you believe to be of concern, let us know immediately. If you need to call 911 for any reason, and time allows, inform us by text/call as well so the staff can be prepared to escort the emergency personnel to your site.
ATV’s (Dirt Bikes, Motorcycles, and Golf Carts)
ATV’s are welcome onsite but may not be used within the park. The use of an ATV is ONLY permitted when entering or exiting the park.
Pet Policies
Leash
Keep your pets on a leash at all times. This ensures the safety of you, your pet, other guests and other guests’ pets.
Cleaning Up After Your Pet
You are required to pick up any mess and/or waste produced by your pet. You MUST pick up and bag your pets waste and dispose of it properly. Failure to clean up after your pet may result in you being asked to leave without a refund.
Leaving Pets Unattended
Pets may not be left unattended in our park. Do not tie your pet to a tree and leave. Leaving your pets unattended is dangerous for your pet as many factors including weather, power outages, etc. can affect your pets well-being while you are away.
Barking
Excessive barking disturbs your neighbors and therfore is not tolerated. Note that excessive barking may result in you being asked to leave without refund.
Pet Vaccinations
Due to Insurance Requirements, all pets must be vaccinated in our park. Make sure your pet’s shots are up-to-date.
Excluded Dogs
Camp Elim has the sole discretion to exclude dogs. The basis for exclusion may include, but is not limited to the following: breed-specific exclusions; due to their young age are exempted from state or local law vaccination requirements; are sick; are in heat; are aggressive, vicious, dangerous or potentially dangerous; require muzzling; or are easily frightened or sensitive, resulting in disruptive behavior (such as fighting or biting) in response to a stimulus.
General Rules/Policies
● Space heaters are NOT allowed.
● Blowup mattresses, sleeping bags and cots are not allowed outside.
● The use of any paint products or chemicals is prohibited.
● All sites are to be kept neat and clean for the duration of your stay.
● DO NOT leave trash out overnight.
● Open fires are not allowed in our park. Fires must be in fire pits. Propane/charcoal grills and propane/charcoal fire pits are allowed.
● Storage is not allowed under or around your RV.
● Washing RVs or vehicles is only permitted with 1 bucket of water and a sponge. Hose washing is not permitted, as it can result in a mess and disturb your neighbors.
● Only registered guests are permitted to enter the park. All visitors must be checked in.
● Drones are not permitted in our park. Please do not fly drones over people or RVs.
● Clotheslines are not permitted in our park.
● Repairs to RVs and vehicles are not permitted in our park.
● The use of any illegal drugs along with recreational marijuana is PROHIBITED.
Winter Regulations *Applicable during temperatures below 35°F*
Long-Term Water Hose Connection
If Camper desires to have continuous water supply, the following requirements MUST be fulfilled, no exceptions
- Camper must purchase a freeze miser that is connected to a Y valve at the spigot.
- A hose then must be connected at the other side of the Y value
- Confirm with Campground management to ensure proper installation
Water System Protocol
All campers who have not or are not able to follow Long-Term Water Hose Connection rules(as seen above) are required to:
- fill their tanks and disconnect the water hose upon completion of use.
- Hose CANNOT be connected to spigot unless water is actively running.
- You MUST immediately disconnect hose after each use.
Underpinning
ANY proposed underpinning must be reviewed and approved by campground management.
Penalties for Non-Compliance
Any failure to adhere to campground regulations resulting in damage to a water hydrant will incur a fine of $500 to the camper responsible.
These are mandatory safety measurements that ensure no freezing occurs to the spigot and the Camper’s property.Thank you for your cooperation.
Camp Elim is not responsible for personal injuries or damage, loss or theft of any personal property or vehicle, guests are responsible for injuries or damage caused by themselves, their children and/or pets. Camp Elim reserves the right to refuse service and/or evict any person(s) who do not comply with the rules and policies.
By making a reservation you agree to all the above Terms & Conditions. Your reservation and signature does not create a tenant-landlord relationship between guest and Camp Elim RV Park & Campground.
