Camp Wapello, Drakesville, Iowa

Campground Rules:
 

  1. Arrival 3:00 PM, Departure 2:00 PM

  2. Speed Limit is 10 MPH on the roads.

  3. Pets are allowed and must be leashed.  Pick up after your pet. 

  4. Tent camping allowed in tent sites only, no tents allowed on RV sites.

  5. Avoid walking through another camp.

  6. Quiet Hours are11:00 PM-7:00AM

  7. No ATVs or UTVs after dark.

  8. Golf carts are permitted for mobility, not as a toy. Must follow all posted speed limits.

  9. Fires in designated fire pits only. NO EXCEPTIONS Fires must be fully extinguished before you go to bed and before you leave.

  10. Do not move fire rings or picnic tables from sites. 

  11. No dumping of grey or black water is allowed.              You will be fined.

  12. Dish cleaning is to be done on your site, not in the bath house.

  13. Food must be kept in hard containers or in your RV at night to help prevent unwanted wildlife in your site.

  14. All trash must be disposed of properly in provided dumpsters or trash cans.

  15. Respect nature. No cutting of trees or disturbing the campgrounds is permitted at any time. Twigs and sticks can be picked up from the ground for kindling but do not cut from of trees.

  16.  Warm showers and working toilets are a luxury.  Vandalism to facility will result in closure.   (Flush when done, throw paper towels in trash, and leave no trace.)

    By accepting this reservation, Guest hereby waives, releases and discharges and covenants not to sue Camp Wapello for all claims and liability for personal injury, accidents, property damage, any other claim arising out of or in connection with Guests’ use of the Rental/Property. Further, Guest agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Camp Wapello from all losses, claims, expenses and demands, including attorneys’ fees, that Camp Wapello may incur arising out of or in connection with Guests’ use of the Rental/Property. Guest further agrees to be responsible and liable for the actions and safety of every person in their group. Camp Wapello reserves the right to remove any renter, occupant or guest who is subject to a lifetime registration requirement under a State sexual offender registration program.

    Management shall not be held liable or responsible for non-utilization of package components or loss of recreational opportunities due to weather or any other circumstances beyond our control.

    Camp Wapello or its management bears no responsibility for any loss or damage to any person or property, or thing howsoever caused.

    The management reserves the right to evict any day user, guest, camper or group of campers for any cause.
