Zero Tolerance for Hate Speech: Any form of harassment or bullying based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or ability will not be tolerated.

Campground Policies
Check-In/Check-Out
- Check-in: 2 PM EST. Your site is reserved until 11 AM the following day. Early check-ins are not allowed, as prior guests have until noon to vacate. Please plan accordingly; we do not have a waiting area for early arrivals.
- Check-out: 11 AM. Late check-out must be approved of 24h in advance.
- Late Check-ins: Permitted anytime; contact us for instructions.
Site Changes
You are assigned a specific site. If you wish to move, please check with the office. Moves may be restricted due to reservations or maintenance.
Fires
Fires must be in fire pits or designated fire rings. Portable firepits brought by guests (solo stoves, etc.) must be approved by camp staff and placed on gravel or packed earth to prevent damage to sites. You may collect any downed firewood from the grounds for use at your site during your stay; bundled firewood is available for purchase.
Parking
Only park your vehicle, trailer, or boat in your assigned site. Parking in additional sites will result in extra charges.
Navigation
Respect your neighbors; do not walk through other sites. Use designated paths, sidewalks, or roads. Out of respect for our neighbors, please mind trail signage to see what vehicles are permitted, if any, on trails.
Washing
RV or vehicle washing is allowed only with a bucket and sponge. Hose washing is not permitted.
Pet Policies
- Leash: Pets must be on a leash at all times. If your pet is unleashed you may be asked to leave without refund.
- Restricted Areas: Pets are not allowed in buildings, the playground, or tied to trees or structures.
- Clean Up: Use designated pet areas and clean up after your pet. Failure to do so may result in being asked to leave without a refund.
- Unattended Pets: Do not leave pets unattended or tied up.
- Vaccinations: All pets must have up-to-date vaccinations.
- Barking: Excessive barking is not allowed and may result in being asked to leave without a refund.
Vehicle Policies
- Speed Limit: 5 MPH throughout the park. Violations may result in warnings or removal.
- Parking: One RV and one vehicle per site. Additional vehicles, boats, or trailers require pre-approval and will be charged an extra fee and must be parked in designated areas. Parking on grass or unassigned sites is prohibited.
- Golf Carts, ATVs, etc.: Use only for getting to/from your site or on designated atv rails. Recreational use within the park is not allowed except on designated atv trails.
General Park Policies
- Severe Weather: Seek shelter in the restrooms or lodge room during severe weather. Signs indicate designated shelter areas. Bring pets with you.
- Visitors: All visitors must register at the office, pay a fee, and receive a parking pass. Day visitors must leave by 10 PM, and overnight visitors by noon. Visitors may not bring pets.
- Electrical Use: Be mindful of amp usage to avoid tripping breakers. Only park staff may address electrical issues.
- Restrooms: Open 24/7 except for daily cleaning. Children under 18 must be supervised.
- Playground: Open 9 AM to dusk. Supervision required for children under 18. No horseplay, glass, or food at the playground. Proper footwear is required.
- Quiet Time: 9 PM to 7 AM. Loud music is not allowed and may result in removal without refund.
Need to Cancel?
Please call 315-929-0128 before the deadlines listed below. Text, email, or social media notifications of cancellations without a written confirmation from Carterville Acres staff prior to the dates below may not be seen before the deadlines below.
- RV Sites: We must be notified by phone or email at least 21 Days prior to arrival to receive a 50% refund in the form of funds returned to your card. No refunds will be given for cancellations made fewer than 7 days prior to arrival. No cash refunds will be provided as your request to hold a site may result in lost business. Credit must be used within the same season of original booking and will expire at the end of the season. Less than 14 days notice will result in forfeiture of your full deposit and is fully non-refundable.
- Cabins and Tent Sites: We must be notified by phone or email 21 Days prior to arrival to receive 50% refund credited to the card you purchased with. No refunds will be given for cancellations made fewer than 7 days prior to arrival. No cash refunds will be provided. Less than 14 days notice will result in forfeiture of your full deposit and is fully non-refundable.
- No Shows: Please ensure you give us a call at 315-929-0128 if you are unable to check-in the first night of your reservation. If you have reserved a site and do not arrive by 9PM and do not advise us of when you plan to arrive, you are considered a no call, no show and we reserve the right to cancel your reservation without a refund. In addition, you will forfeit your site for the remaining duration of your stay.
- Holidays and special events. We fill up on the holidays, and we encourage you to book early! No refunds will be given for cancellations on holiday weekends or for event rentals. Special events have special conditions and deposits/refund policies. Please call 315-929-0128 for details.
- Early Departures/Mother Nature: Camping is an outdoor activity and subject to Mother Nature. We do not provide refunds on unused days due to early departures for any reason or due to weather related cancellations.
Reservations made after these deadlines require full nonrefundable deposits. Cancellations made after deadlines will result in forfeiture of all deposits.
Additional Policies
- Trash: Dispose of tied trash bags in designated containers. Do not leave trash on the ground. Violators will be asked to leave without refund.
- Children: Must be supervised at all times, and are not allowed without an accompanying adult in pet areas. Playground closes at dusk.
- Drones: Not permitted within the park.
- Clotheslines: allowed only at tent and RV sites; not allowed at cabin sites.
- Fireworks and Firearms: Strictly prohibited, including sparklers and BB guns. Violations result in immediate removal without refund.
- Repairs: Vehicle and RV repairs are not allowed. Contact the office for mobile repair service recommendations.
- Safety: For emergencies, call 911. Notify the office if calling 911 to assist emergency personnel.
