ACKNOWLEDGEMENT AND ASSUMPTION OF THE RISKS Camper acknowledges and understands that accessing and using the Park, including participation in any activities, presents certain risks, including but not limited to risks of injury, property damage, drowning, exposure to wildlife, hazardous terrain, and unforeseen dangers. Camper assumes full responsibility for all risks and agrees to use the Park and its facilities at their own risk.
EQUINE LIABILITY ACT DISCLOSURE WARNING: Under North Carolina law, an equine activity sponsor or equine professional is not liable for an injury to or the death of a participant in equine activities resulting from the inherent risks of equine activities, pursuant to NC General Statutes § 99E-1 et seq.
PETS The Campground allows pets under specific conditions outlined in the Campground Rules. Camper agrees to follow all pet-related regulations, including leash policies, waste disposal, and behavior expectations. Camper is solely responsible for any injury or damage caused by their pet and agrees to indemnify the Campground from any claims arising from pet-related incidents.
GOLF CART USAGE Guests who choose to bring their own golf carts must ensure that all operators are licensed drivers and follow all Campground rules regarding vehicle operation. By participating in these activities, guests assume full responsibility for their own safety and agree to comply with all rental terms, including wearing appropriate safety gear such as life jackets. All guests renting or using watercraft (kayaks, paddleboards, etc.) must wear a U.S. Coast Guard-approved personal flotation device at all times, as required by North Carolina law.
