Terms & Conditions

The following applies to all properties of Cedar Valley Grove Campgrounds:

 1. PROPERTY. Lessor hereby leases to Lessee, and Lessee hereby leases from Lessor, the portion of the Property located at (“Property”) Lessee shall take the Property in "as is condition".Please note:  Reservations are accepted for 14 days term.  Renewals will be accepted at the campground discretion.  

2. USE OF ALCOHOL/TOBACCO/DRUGS. The use or possession of alcohol, tobacco (in any form whether smoked or smokeless), illegal drugs (in any form), marijuana, and firearms is absolutely prohibited on the site and on all property owned or occupied by the Lessor. The Lessee shall strictly enforce this prohibition. In the event, Lessee fails to take such action Lessor reserves the right to immediately terminate this Lease Agreement.

3. CONDITION OF PROPERTY. Lessee shall return the Property and its furnishings to the same condition and arrangement they were in prior to use of the Property. In the event damage, other than reasonable wear and tear, occurs to the property while in use by Lessee, the Lessee agrees to pay, in cash, for the damages caused, in an amount to be determined solely by the management within ten (10) days of receipt of damage reimbursement request.

4. INDEMNIFICATION. Lessee hereby covenants and agrees to and does hereby indemnify, defend and hold Lessor and its affiliates (including Community of Christ), and its respective agents, contractors, subcontractors, employees, officers, directors, priesthood and other representatives harmless from, and against, any and all claims, actions, suits, proceedings, costs, expenses, damages, losses and liabilities, including attorney's fees, court costs and other expenses of defense and collection arising out of, connected with, occurring on, or resulting from the Property, or the Lease Agreement, including (i) any accident, injury or damage to any person or property occurring in, on or about the Property or any part thereof, including the playground (if applicable), resulting from ordinary negligence, (ii) any claim involving any alleged criminal act or violent behavior by Lessee’s guests, agents, members, and all other persons who may be directed by, responsible to, or under the supervision of the Lessee, including child molestation, injury to pets or due to pets and (iii) any claims or sanctions related to exposure or infection with COVID- 19 brought by Lessee’s guests, agents, members, or government officials. These indemnities shall survive expiration or termination of this Agreement.

Pet Policy

I agree to keep my dog on a leash or in a carrier while in all public areas of the Campground. I further agree to always have my dog with me or a designated individual and understand that I may not leave the dog unattended in the cabin or at the campsite. I agree to prevent noise or any other disturbance by my dog, in the interest of other guests at the Campground. 

County code laws do not allow pets in our building. Pets are not allowed in the buildings.

Please do not tie your pet to our trees, doors, or posts. Pets are also not allowed on our playground.

Cleaning Up After Your Pet

Be a good neighbor; please clean up after your pet. Do not leave your pet waste on your site or any other guests’ sites. Failure to clean up after your pet will result in you being asked to leave.   Please dispose of pet waste in the dumpsters on the campground.

Pet Vaccinations

Due to Insurance Requirements, all pets must be vaccinated in our park. Please make sure your pet’s shots are up-to-date and provide current vaccination records.

Disturbances

 I agree that, should my dog create any disturbances, which cause complaints to be made to the management by other guests or employees of the Campground, at the request of a Campground employee, I will immediately plan to house my dog elsewhere outside the Campground. Additionally, I understand and agree that if I do not find alternative housing for my pet after being asked to do so, I will be asked to leave the Campground and will not be issued a refund.

Assumption of Risk and Release

 I understand to have my dog at the Campground with me is a privilege and not a contractual right. Such permission is expressly conditional upon my adherence to the terms of these rules and other rules in effect at any given time. I understand that the Campground may revoke such permission at any time for any reason. Additionally, I hereby assume all responsibility of risks, injury, damage, other harm that may occur while my dog is at the Campground or caused by my dog. Further, I hereby knowingly and voluntarily expressly release and discharge the Campground, its owner, its agents, its parent companies, members, managers, directors, officers and employees (“Released Parties”) from any and all claims, damages, liabilities, injuries, demands, or causes of action, both present and future, whether known, unknown, anticipated or unanticipated, that me or my guests or invitees may have against any of the Released Parties arising out of or incident to my dog’s presence in the Campground, whether arising from any act or omission, whether negligent or otherwise, of me, my dog and/or any guest or invitee. I further agree to indemnify each of the Released Parties for claims, damages, liabilities, injuries, demands, or causes of action, including costs, expenses, and attorney’s fees arising becuse of or related to the presence of the dog at the Campground. This provision shall be fully enforceable of the law.

CEDAR VALLEY GROVE CAMPGROUNDS - ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

I HEREBY AGREE TO INDEMNIFY, SAVE AND HOLD HARMLESS Cedar Valley Grove Campground Management, and each of them, from any loss, liability, damage, or cost (including attorney fees) they may incur due to injury (including death), damage or loss of property relating to use of the Premises by me, my children, and/or my invitees/guests or due to any incidents that may occur during my stay. I understand that, although Cedar Valley Grove Campground Management makes every reasonable effort to provide a secure environment, the security of my person, my belongings, and all persons registered in my party is my sole responsibility.

As a courtesy, our camp staff, if so requested, may assist with directing you to your designated campsite. It is your sole responsibility to ensure that the site will accommodate your specific trailer/RV and that you will not hit any branches, trees, etc. when positioning your RV on the campsite.

I understand that I am personally liable to pay the total amount of my reservation prior to my scheduled check-in date, or at such earlier date communicated to me.

The Premises are privately owned, and Cedar Valley Grove Campground management RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE to anyone for any reason except for those prohibited by law. Cedar Valley Grove Management reserves the right to require any person or party it deems necessary, to leave the campground based on violations of Park Rules or behavior management deems inappropriate or disturbing to others. Harassment or mistreatment of our staff or other guests, including but not limited to, racist comments or hate speech, will not be tolerated under any circumstances.

 By signing below, I acknowledge that I have read the Campground Policies and fully understand the provisions and implications. My execution of this Acknowledgement is entirely voluntary and intended to be binding on my heirs, executors, legal representatives, and assigns.

I further understand that it is my responsibility to ensure that my guests and invitees also comply with the Rules. Failure to adhere to the policies and rules set forth herein may result in my removal from the Campground without a refund.

I have read this notice and agree to it as well as all Cedar Valley Grove Campground Rules and regulations. In addition, I understand that I am responsible for the actions of all persons registered in my party, including any children, and any guests that visit during my stay. On behalf of each person in my party, I grant Cedar Valley Grove and its affiliated entities and promotional partners the right to include any photographic, video and other visual portrayals of each person in my party in any medium and for any purpose.
