China Creek Campground & Marina User Rules and Policies
The Marina & Facilities Attendants, Marina Coordinators and the Manager of Campground & Marina Facilities will enforce the Campground Rules and Policies. Warnings will be issued for violations of the user policies and rules, which may lead to removal from the property. Abuse or foul language toward our staff and management will not be tolerated. Aggressive misconduct may result in eviction from the campground and/or marina.
Campground Map
Cabin Accomodation Information
- Check In: 3pm - Head straight to your cabin! It will be unlocked with the key inside.
- Check Out: 11am - Please don't forget to return the key to the Campground Office, there is a dropbox to the right of the door.
- Nightly reservations require a non-refundable, non-transferable $50 deposit per site at the time of booking. ($45 + $5 Platform Booking Fee)
- All moorage & cabin fees must be paid in full at the time of check in and deposits are applied to fees.

Camping & Moorage Registration
- Check in time is after 1pm and Check out is 11am
- Nightly reservations require a non-refundable, non- transferable $50 deposit per site at the time of booking
- Seasonal camping reservations for the next calendar year require a non-refundable, non-transferable $100 deposit by September 30th.
- Seasonal moorage reservations for the next calendar year require a non-refundable, non-transferable $100 deposit by January 31st.
- All moorage & camping fees must be paid in full at the time of check in and deposits are applied to fees
- One tent or unit per site. All additional vehicles, boats or trailers must fit within the campsite. Additional units and/or parking available with parking fees.
Campground Etiquette
- Speed limit in the park is 10 km per hour. Please drive with caution at all times
- Children must be supervised at all times
- Please respect your neighbors; our quiet time is 10:00 PM, excessive noise and/or partying will not be tolerated. If the warning is disregarded, we have the right to evict you and your party from the campground.
- Generators can be operated from 8am to 10pm and should not be left running for extended periods
- Alcoholic beverages, cannabis and cigarettes may be consumed only in your campsite
- Public drunkenness, disorderly conduct, foul language or verbal abuse will not be tolerated and may result in eviction and/or future ban at China Creek Campground & Marina.
- Seasonal campers must be staying at the campground with their guests.
Subletting is not permitted. - Un-licensed and uninsured motor vehicles or ATVs are not permitted in the park
- No skateboards, rollerblades, scooters or bikes are permitted on the marina floats or the launch ramps
- Any alteration of camp site or park grounds is not permitted. This includes the cutting of trees or vegetation.
- Construction of permanent structures is not permitted.
Parking
- All vehicles and trailers must be registered at the office and display valid parking permits
- Additional vehicles and/or trailers must be parked in parking lot and are subject to parking fees
- Vehicles not displaying permit(s), parked outside of designated parking areas or in accessible parking spots without a displayed sign will be towed at the owner’s expense.
Fueling
- Day to day storage of fuel in transportable containers is not permitted within the campground or marina.
Pets
- All pet owners must sign our China Creek Campground Pet Pledge
- Use of the Dog Park is at the owner’s risk.
- Dogs must always be on a leash and under the care and control of a competent individual, including at the beach.
- Dogs are not allowed on the marina floats other than to or from your boat
- Please use “Doggie Doo” stations and clean up after your pets immediately
- Pets are not to be left unattended at sites
- No aggressive dogs allowed. Dogs will have to leave if displaying aggressive behavior or excessive barking
Campfires
- Due to strong winds at China Creek Campground & Marina fires are permitted in the shelter or designated fire pits only.
- Please adhere to Fire Smart practices posted at the shelter. Propane Fire Pits are encouraged as a safer alternative to open fires. During a fire ban, the Propane Fire Pits will be the only permitted fire option.
Electrical
- All electrical service connections between the Port Authority electrical outlets and the vessel, and all electrical equipment on board must conform to applicable electrical codes. Please see the office if you are unsure of the codes.
- Extension cords must be a minimum of 12 gauge if the cord is 75 feet or less and 10 gauge for cords longer than 75 feet.
- The Port Authority does not guarantee the continuity of utility services specifically with regard to electrical service and does not guarantee vessel or RV compatibility with the electrical circuit protector
Sanitation & Water Use
No washing of boats, vehicles, or RV’s is permitted on site in efforts to conserve water.
- China Creek Campground is on a well water system. During severe dry weather, we must limit the water output.
- There are two sani-dump stations in the park.
- RV campers must use biodegradable chemicals in their holding tanks and use air tight sani-hose connectors
- No person shall discharge sewage into water or on land
- No dish washing, fish cleaning, or cooking permitted in the washroom or laundry room buildings
- We recommend filling your holding tank for use during shortages or drought
Launching
- Recreational launching at China Creek is only available for registered campers
- Seasonal Moorage includes launching at China Creek. User must provide owners name and moorage slip to the launch ramp attendant. Otherwise, launching fees apply for single use.
- Launching is on a first come first served basis.
- No powering onto trailers
Boat Camping
- No person is permitted to use his or her vessel as a residence
- Boat camping must be reserved through the campground office; fees apply. Boat camping is only allowed up to a maximum of 2 weeks unless approved by the Manager of Campground & Marina Facilities.
Moorage
- Moorage Agreements and proof of insurance are required for all moorage
- Berths are assigned to vessels based on length, which includes swim grids, motors, etc.
- Moorage is calculated on the length overall (LOA) of the vessel or the moorage slip, whichever is greater
- Seasonal Moorage includes parking for one vehicle and trailer and dryland storage (Oct 1 – Mar 31)
- Guests wishing to cancel their moorage are to provide the request in writing
Reassignment of Camping and Berth
- Seasonal campsites and moorage berths are non transferable.
- Any change of ownership of the vessel must be reported to the Port Authority
- Vessel berths are not included in the sale of a vessel.
- Owners are to notify the Marina Coordinator if vacating berth for a period longer than three (3) days so that the berth may be temporarily re-assigned.
- Re-assignment of berths will be solely the responsibility of the Marina Coordinator. The Port Authority will retain moorage fees from berth re-assignment
Wildlife – Be mindful that you are in bear, cougar, and wolf territory.
Adhere to wildlife notices – If you encounter wildlife, keep a safe distance
- Keep a close eye on children and small pets at all times
- Do not feed wildlife. Any food or coolers must be stored inside a vehicle or RV or will be removed from the site
- Do not leave dirty dishes and used cooking utensils outside after use
- Secure all outdoor freezers and refrigerator units with a pad lock or tie down straps at all times
- Store all prawn, crab traps, and bait inside a vehicle, RV, or on a moored vessel
- Place all food waste garbage in a tied off plastic bag before placing in the dumpsters
Use of live traps, bear bangers, or pyrotechnic devices designed to ward off wildlife is not permitted
