Terms & Conditions
Welcome to our rustic campground! Please review and abide by our terms and conditions for a safe and enjoyable stay. Your cooperation helps maintain the natural beauty of our surroundings and ensures all guests have a safe and enjoyable experience.
By accepting this reservation, the registrant (the “Guest”) to Country Comfort Consulting Ltd.’s camping resort, Country Comfort Cabins & RV (the “Campground”), acknowledges understanding and agreement to all Terms & Conditions and Park rules as defined below and posted at the Campground. The Guest assumes responsibility for the activities of all members of their party and acknowledges that they are all bound by this document. Please review the entire document.
Check-In and Out
For Cabins, RV/Tent sites:
- Check-in after 2:00 PM
- Check-out is 10:00 AM
For Group area:
- Check-in after 1:00 PM
- Check-out is 11:00 AM
Early check-in or late check out may be available but must be pre-confirmed with the Campground. Late check-in is allowed until gates close at 10:00 pm.
Quiet Hours
- Please be considerate of others. Quiet hours are from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. All minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult after 11:00 PM.
- Please respect others, no loud music at any time.
Gate Hours and Visitors
- The gate will be closed at 10:00 pm and reopen at 7:00 am. Please make arrangements with the office staff if you have special requirements.
- All non-registered guests must exit the park by 10:00 pm.
Cancellation & Refund Policy:
RV and Cabin Sites
- Cancellations made a minimum of 7 days prior to arrival date, will receive a full refund, less $10 fee.
- Cancellations made 3-6 days before arrival date, will be refunded 50% of the booking fee.
- No refund for cancellations less than 3 days before arrival date, NO EXCEPTIONS.
Group Area Reservations
- Cancellations 30 days or more before arrival date will receive full refund, less $100 fee.
- Cancellations less than 30 days before arrival date receive no refund of fees.
Refunds
- Damage deposits taken for rental of Cabins and Group Area are subject to refund on the first business day after check-out. Site will be inspected, and fees will be deducted for any damages or excessive time required to clean a site that is not left in accordance with Park Rules.
- No refund of fees will be given to No Shows, or Evicted Guests. Damage deposits will be refunded as per above.
- No refunds for reservations in the event of circumstances deemed as "acts of God." This includes inclement weather.
Site Details
- Each RV/Tent site includes 1 unit and 1 vehicle. Additional units or vehicles may be permitted (if site size allows) additional fees are charged per unit and/or vehicle.
- Each cabin site may have 1 tent in the site if occupied by Guests’ children under 18 years of age for no charge.
- Adults occupying the tent will be charged a fee per person.
- 2 vehicles are included in the cabin rental, additional vehicles are charged per vehicle per night.
Parking
- Do not park your vehicle, trailer, or boat in an adjacent site. Using more than one site will result in additional charges.
- No parking on roadways or grass, with exception of the guest area.
- Overflow parking is available at the office parking area or if the Group area is not in use. Check with the office for parking options.
Garbage Disposal
- Please leave your site clean and dispose of all household garbage in the dumpsters located in the park. Large waste items, such as those that cannot be bagged, must be removed from site by the guest and properly disposed of at the appropriate off-site facility.
- Bottles and cans should be disposed of in designated containers around the property.
- No garbage in Fire Pits! Evidence of garbage in fire pits will result in additional charges or reduced deposit refunds.
- Appropriately dispose cigarette butts in firepits, no butts on the ground!
- Fire hazard is high!! Any butts found laying on ground in your site will be charged back to your booking at $2.00 per butt.
Fire Pits
- Fires must be contained inside the fire pits and must not be left unattended.
- Do not burn any garbage in fire pits. Use provided receptacles.
- Cutting of trees or any destruction of the natural environment is not permitted at any time.
- Guests are permitted to utilize fallen dead trees as firewood during their stay. However, it is imperative that all deadfall is completely burned before the arrival of the next guest to prevent any misunderstandings or inconvenience.
- No campfires larger than 1/2 meter high.
- Burning of wood with nails, or staples, found in firepits or burned garbage will be subject to a $100 fee.
- There is zero tolerance for fireworks and firecrackers.
Washhouse
- Smoking is not allowed in any of the campground buildings.
- Remove muddy footwear in shower house, and please turn off the lights when not in use.
- Showers are free at this time, but there is limited water. Guests must limit the number of showers and keep them quick.
- Guests are responsible to supervise their minor children while using washhouse. Any children found abusing the facility will be escorted to their site by Campground staff and it will be considered a first warning.
- Park facilities are for the convenience of the guests. Any guests using these facilities accept that they are using them at their own risk.
- NO washing dishes inside the wash house. There is a summer sink on the deck for dish washing. Do not bathe pets in the summer sink.
- NO cooking food in the washhouse.
Pets
- Dogs and cats are allowed in your personal RV units at no additional cost.
- Dogs, only, are allowed in the cabin rental units at the additional costs outlined in the rates page.
- Your pet must never be left unattended in a cabin rental unit.
- You are responsible for any and all injury or damage caused by your pet and may be charged accordingly.
- Pets are not allowed on the furniture in any of our cabins. This includes the beds.
- Dogs must be leashed at all times and within your control, even in the campsite area.
- Be mindful of your neighbors. Not everyone you meet may like dogs and other dogs may not be as friendly as yours. Excessive barking can disturb the surrounding campers.
- You must clean up after your dog and dispose of all garbage in bins provided. Even though it is biodegradable, it is not indigenous to the woods and can draw the curiosity of other wildlife.
- Any excessive clean up required because of your pet will result in a clean up fee charged to your account.
- If your pet is a nuisance to other guests, Country Comfort Cabins & RV reserves the right to ask you to leave, without refund or reimbursement of your stay.
- Service animals may accompany a disabled person only with proof of certification of the animal.
Booking Modifications
- If you need to adjust the length of your booking or possibly change dates, please notify us immediately. We will make every effort to accommodate but cannot guarantee the change is possible.
- All reservations must be paid in advance. Unpaid bookings will be cancelled after 3 days of non-payment.
Safety and Emergencies
- Contact information is saved on file in case of emergency. This information remains private and used only when a situation arises when we need to contact someone in the event of an emergency or is sought by law enforcement agencies. We never give personal information out to others.
- If you need to call 911 for any reason, and time allows, please call the office so the staff can be prepared to escort the emergency personnel to your site.
Amenities
- Guests are invited to explore the property at their own risk.
- Playground is available to all guests; and children under 18 should be supervised at all times.
- Bicycles and toys shall not be left on roadways or greenspaces unattended.
- Guests must obey all posted speed limits and watch for children. The campground is a one-way vehicle flow and guests must ensure they travel safely.
- Please use provided receptacles for bottles, recycling, compost and garbage. Do your best to reduce our imprint. Remember we are in an area with plenty of wildlife, keep your sites tidy to prevent unwanted visitors.
General Park Policies
- Cannabis consumption is limited to inside of camper’s personal RV and the immediate area around your campfire.
- No smoking, vaping or cannabis consumption in any of the campground buildings or cabin units.
- $200 cleaning fee/fine charged for smoking/vaping or cannabis use in buildings.
- Alcohol consumption is limited to campsite areas.
- Do not drain any sewage or waste material on to the ground or in non-standard containers.
- Off highway motor vehicles operation on site is prohibited. You can trailer in and trailer out, but do not unload.
- Electric vehicles can only charge at the main office and will be a fee charged
- Guests are to acknowledge the risks and dangers of camping outdoors and not hold the park owner or employees liable for injuries or property damages resulting from these risks and dangers.
- Drones are not allowed to be used on our property without permission.
- The management reserves the right to evict any day user, guest, camper or group of campers for any reason or cause.
Privacy Policy
- At Country Comfort Cabins, we are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your personal information. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information, including your credit card details.
- Collection of Credit Card Information: When you make a reservation or booking with us, we may collect your credit card information to secure your reservation. This information may include your card number, expiration date, and security code.
- Use of Credit Card Information: Your credit card information may be stored securely on file for the following purposes: a) Damage Deposit: Your credit card may be used as a form of a damage deposit to cover any potential damages to the property during your stay. b) On-site Purchases: If you make purchases on-site during your stay, your credit card may be charged accordingly.
- Security of Credit Card Information: Your credit card information is stored and secured by Campspot in a secured database. They employ industry-standard security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
- Consent: By providing us with your credit card information, you consent to the collection, use, and storage of this information as outlined in this Privacy Policy.
- Disclosure of Information: We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your credit card information to outside parties unless required by law or necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy.
- Retention of Information: Your credit card information will be retained only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy or as required by law.
- Access and Correction: You have the right to access and correct any inaccuracies in your credit card information stored by us. Please contact us if you wish to review or update your information.
Guests Staying in Cabins:
- Guests are asked to bring their own bedding and bath towels, if needed, we can supply guests with these items for an additional charge per set, please notify us if you are needing these items.
- Cabins are supplied with dish towels and miscellaneous kitchen supplies upon arrival. Please note that park staff do not provide room cleaning services during stays. Dirty dish towels can be replaced for clean sets by request at the office.
- If items within cabins go missing, guests are subject to a fine of $50 or more, circumstance depending.
- Barbeques are provided with propane. Should the propane tank be empty, notify campground staff and it will be replaced.
- Each cabin is supplied with a large water jug. This water is for cooking and cleaning. One jug of water may be supplied per day. Additional water can be purchased at the office. Be sure to bring your own drinking water.
- Please ensure that guests clean up after themselves and maintain cleanliness in the area inside and outside your cabin.
- We kindly request that guests respect the peaceful atmosphere of those vacationing here and refrain from hosting parties on the premises.
Further, Guest understands and accepts:
- this Waiver is made for the benefit of Country Comfort Consulting Ltd. and Country Comfort Cabins & RV and each of its directors, offices, employees, volunteers, officials, lessees and agents (collectively the “Campground”). Guest acknowledges that if they are accompanied by a minor then the Guest confirms that all statements made herein are being made on behalf of such minor and are complete and truthful.
- that there are inherent risks (“Risks”) associated with the use of the premises and the use of the premises’ facilities and participation in camping, sports, group area rental, fitness, instruction, food and beverage services, and all other activities, services, programs or events provided or organized by either the Campground or by the Guest (the “Activities”). I understand that such Risks simply cannot be eliminated without jeopardizing the essential qualities of the activities.
- Risks include the potential for serious personal injury, death or property damage. I understand the Risks may be relative to my own state of fitness and health (including physical, mental and emotional) and to the awareness, car and skill with which I conduct myself. I further understand the potential for injury include those to myself, my children, children in my care or third parties.
- fully assumes all responsibility for all Risks and possibilities of personal injury, death, property damage or other loss resulting from my participation in the Activities. I accept these Risks and Agree to the terms of this Waiver, even if the Campground is found to be negligent or in breach of any duty of care or any obligation to me in any way in respect of the Activities.
Guest agrees that this Waiver shall remain in full force and effect for all visits by me to the Campground whenever they occur and that entry onto the Campground property is conditional to the terms of this Waiver.
Guest confirms, I have had sufficient time to read and understand each term in this Waiver in its entirety and have agreed to the terms freely and voluntarily. I understand that this Waiver is binding on myself and my Legal Representatives. I confirm that I have reached the age of majority in the Province of Alberta.
