Countryside Campground and Cabins

Campground Rules & Policies

  • Campsite check in time is 2:00 PM.  Cabin check in time is 3:00 PM.  No Check Ins After Dark.
  • Campsite CHECK-OUT TIME IS 12:00 PM. Cabin CHECK-OUT TIME IS 11:00 AM. If no one is checking into your site and you would like to stay after 12:00 PM, please notify the office the morning of check-out. Late check-out fees apply.  Anyone staying past 5:00 P.M. will be charged for an additional night stay.
  • Any outstanding balances will be auto-charged to the card on file 7 days prior to checkin!
  • Dry, affordable Firewood is available for purchase and can be delivered to your site upon request. Firewood is NOT permitted to be brought into the campground! Please be responsible and use the fire rings provided, keep your fire a reasonable size and be sure that it is completely out before you leave the site or go to bed for the evening.
  • Rates are based on 2 adults and 4 children or 4 adults.  An additional fee per night per person may apply for extra guests.   Maximum of 8 people per site per Michigan State Law.
  • Maximum occupancy for Rustic Cabins is 5 people.
  • Maximum occupancy for Rental RV & Full Service cabin is 6 people.
  • Quiet Hours are in effect from 10:00 P.M. until 7:00 A.M. daily.  Any unreasonably loud noise is prohibited at any time, including TV’s, Radios and Generators.
  • Children may not be left unattended in the campground without adult supervision.  Children must be on their site by dark unless accompanied by an adult.  Parents are ultimately responsible for their children’s behavior.
  • Only one Camping Unit per site.  No Exceptions.
  • Only one vehicle per site.  Others must park in visitor parking area.
  • Electric vehicle (EV) charging is not permitted at our campground. The existing infrastructure has been designed with specific electrical capacities to ensure consistent and reliable power distribution for the campground and its support facilities. Ignoring this warning could make you liable to infrastructure damage and expulsion from our campground.
  • No bike riding after dark.
  • Sinks in restrooms are not to be used for washing pets or dishes.
  • Sewer hoses must be in good condition with proper elbows.
  • All garbage must be placed in the dumpster located by the exit drive.  Do not deposit garbage in fire pits.  Campsite must be kept clean during occupancy and cleaned upon departure.  DO NOT leave garbage on the site.
  • NO CLOTHES LINES.  Please do not hang clothes from trees or bushes.
  • Washing of RV’s, cars or other vehicles is NOT PERMITTED.
  • All day visitors must register at the office.  Visitor fees apply – children 5 years old and under are free.  All visitors must exit the campground by 10:00 P.M.  Campers assume full responsibility for any visitors to their site.  If your visitors fail to stop and pay the appropriate fees, the registered camper will be charged.
  • Registered Camper will be held financially responsible for any damage to Campground Property by themselves, their pets or their guests.
  • Vehicles must be street legal and operated by a licensed driver on established roadways.  No golf carts / motorized scooters / mini-bikes, etc. No parking on neighboring sites. ATV’s may only be ridden in to and out of the park, not to be used for transportation within the park.
  • Please abide by the posted speed limit signs to keep our campers safe.
  • NO SMOKING in any building on site, including restrooms. Also, please be sure to PICK UP YOUR CIGARETTE / CIGAR BUTTS. SMOKING MARIJUANA IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED AT COUNTRYSIDE CAMPROUND. Non-compliance will result in forfeiture of your campsite.  No refund will be provided.
  • Cutting, trimming or damaging standing trees, plants or other living vegetation is prohibited.
  • Tree climbing is prohibited
  • The use of FIREWORKS, FIREARMS, EXPLOSIVES and PROJECTILE-FIRING DEVICES is prohibited.
  • PLEASE DO NOT FLUSH baby wipes or any other sanitary wipes into our septic system. Even if they say they are flushable, they still cause trouble to our septic system.
  • Please don’t cut through other people’s campsites.
  • ALCOHOL is permitted. However, excessive use of alcohol or use of any illegal drugs will not be tolerated and will be reported to local authorities. As solely determined by management, drunkenness, any disorderly conduct, illegal drug use, obscene language, any disrespectful/rowdy behavior by you, your guests, pets, children or anyone in your camp will subject you and your group to permanent loss of your camping privileges and immediate ejection without a refund.
  • Flying drones is prohibited within the park.
  • Flags and signs that display the Confederate flag, politicians, political candidates or contain vulgarity or profanity are not allowed to be displayed at your site or throughout the campground.
  • QUIET AND WELL-MANNERED PETS are allowed and welcomed at the campground. No more than two (2) pets per site.
  • EXCESSIVE BARKING will not be tolerated.
  • Pets must always be on a hand-held (6ft or less) leash and kept under control.  No retractable leashes.  Unattended, aggressive or loud animals will be considered a violation of these rules.
  • Pets are not permitted in any public building, swimming area or playground area. 
  • A dog park is provided in the back of the campground for your convenience. 
  • You must clean up after your pet.
  • Reservations for Holiday and Special Event Weekends require a 3-Night stay. And require payment in full at the time of reserving.
  • For Holiday Weekends or Special Events, NO REFUNDS will be issued
  • Cancellation fourteen (14) days or more prior to the beginning of your stay, a $25.00 cancellation fee will be charged.
  • Cancellation less than fourteen (14) days prior to beginning of your stay, a one night’s fee applies.
  • There will be no refunds for cancellations on day of check in.
  • There will be no refunds of unused days or for the discomforts of Mother Nature.
  • Campsites may not be transferred or subleased.

Guests of OKB Hospitality, LLC (Countryside Campground & Cabins) who stay at any site or use any of the facilities does so at their own risk.  All guests of Countryside agree to release Countryside and its affiliates, officers, family members, volunteers, fellow campers and employees of all liability for the loss of damages to property, and injury to his/her person arising out of his/her use of the Countryside facilities and agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Countryside, its officers, family members, volunteers, fellow guests and employees against any and all claims of any type.
