David Laird Campground, North Battleford, Saskatchewan

Check In / Check Out

Check in is at 2 PM CST and check out is 11 AM CST.

Early check in is permitted, however not before 11 AM and we will not ask a guest to leave so that you can check in early.

Late check-ins are allowed and may be done online so no contact with the office is required. 

Site Changes

You have been assigned a specific site, if you wish to move please contact our office. Due to reservations and maintenance, moving may not be possible. Please inquire before moving sites.

Open Fires

Open fires are not allowed in our park. Fires must be in firepits and ensure all fires are extinguished fully and properly. Do not leave fires unattended.

Parking

Please do not park your vehicle, trailer, or boat in an adjacent site. Use of more than one site will result in additional charges.

Site and Park Navigation

Please be respectful of your neighbor and do not walk between sites when navigating the park. Please use main roads, sidewalks, and designated public paths to walk around the campground.

Pet Policies

We ask that you keep your pets on a leash at all times. This helps our campers and pets stay safe. 

Pets are not allowed in the buildings. 

Be a good neighbor and please clean up after your pet. Failure to clean up after your pet will result in you being asked to leave without a refund.

Pets may not be left unattended in our park. 

Excessive barking is not tolerated and disturbs your neighbors. Please note that excessive barking may result in you being asked to leave without refund.

Vehicle Policies

The park speed limit is 20 km per hour.  This policy is to keep you, your children, and your pets safe. Exceeding this speed limit will result in a warning. Multiple warnings will require us to ask you to leave. Safety is our number one priority for our guests.

Parking

Each paid guest registration covers 1 RV per site and 1 vehicle per site unless noted. Please do not park on our grass. Ruts caused in your site due to additional vehicles will result in damage charges.

Do not park in the middle of the road. Do not park in sites that you did not register for and do not block our buildings. 

General Park Policies

Severe Weather

In case of severe weather, seek shelter in the bathrooms.

Visitors

Visitors must depart by 10:00 pm CST and registered guests are responsible for ensuring their visitors follow alll campground rules. Visitors may be asked to leave at the discretion of staff and management. 

Electrical Use

You are responsible for understanding how many amps you are using in our RV. Amp usage over the 30 AMPs provided can trip your breaker. Please be mindful of your amp usage, so that you don’t trip your breaker during your stay.

Please notify the office so that we can notify maintenance if you have any electrical issues during your stay. Guests are not permitted to diagnose our electrical pedestals per insurance and safety requirements. Maintenance is happy to help. Even if you are an electrician, laws prohibit you from working on our pedestals unless hired to do so.

Do not plug in appliances (such as fridges and/or freezers) in the outside outlets at your site. 

Bathrooms & Showers

For the comfort of all our guests, our playground area bathroom is open 24/7 with exception of a temporary closing for cleaning when applicable.  The north side bathrooms are only open during our office hours and temporary closed for cleaning when applicable. We ask for your help in keeping the restrooms clean. We recommend for guests under the age of 18, there is adult supervision in the bathrooms..

Playground & Volleyball Areas

Anyone under 18 must be supervised in these areas. Loud music, glass, and rough play are not permitted. Failure to follow these rules result in you being asked to leave without refund. Please do not let your children climb our trees, as it damages them.

Quiet Time Policies

Quiet time is 11 PM CST to 7 AM CST. Anyone playing loud music or causing disruption will be warned only once and then asked to leave without a refund. Citizens on Patrol may perform campground checks during these hours. 

Trash Disposal and Recycling

A dumpster is available by the playground/pavillon area. Please tie trash bags completely closed and put your trash completely in the trash container. Please do not place your trash on the ground. Wildlife are attracted to left out or disposed of food and while we think they are cute and wonderful animals, we don’t want you to find a surprise visitor at your site because of incorrectly disposed of trash. 

Do not dispose of wires, oil, furniture, mattresses, or any toxic waste or chemicals in our trash cans. 

Failure to adhere to this rule may result in charges for disposal fees and/or eviction. 

If you are recycling (bottles and cans only), please bring any recycling items to our office where there is a designated area available. 

Children

Children under 18 must be supervised by an adult at all times. 

Drones

Drones are not permitted in our park.  

Clotheslines

Clotheslines are not permitted in our park.

Fireworks and Firearms

Fireworks and firearms are strictly prohibited in our park. The prohibiting of fireworks includes sparklers, smoke bombs, aerials, and firecrackers. The prohibiting of firearms includes all guns including air soft, BB, and pellet guns. If these items are seen outside of your RV, you will be asked to leave immediately without a refund.

Repairs

Repairs to RVs and vehicles are not permitted in our park. We are happy to recommend a local Mobile RV Repair service that comes out to your site to assist you with any repairs.

Safety and Emergencies

Emergency Contact Information forms are required from all monthly guests. This information remains private and used only when a situation arises when we need to contact someone in the event of an emergency or is sought by law enforcement agencies. We never give personal information out to others.

If you observe any activity you believe to be of concern, call the RCMP 306 446 1720 (no soliciting is allowed).

If you need to call 911 for any reason and time allows, please call or visit our office, during office hours so the staff can be prepared to escort the emergency personnel to your site, if needed or other considerations. 

By accepting this reservation, Guest hereby waives, releases and discharges and covenants not to sue David Laird Campground for all claims and liability for personal injury, accidents, property damage, any other claim arising out of or in connection with Guests’ use of the Rental/Property. Further, Guest agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless David Laird Campground from all losses, claims, expenses and demands, including attorneys’ fees, that David Laird Campground may incur arising out of or in connection with Guests’ use of the Rental/Property. Guest further agrees to be responsible and liable for the actions and safety of every person in their group. David Laird Campground reserves the right to remove any renter, occupant or guest who is subject to a lifetime registration requirement under a sexual offender registration program.

Management shall not be held liable or responsible for non-utilization of package components or loss of recreational opportunities due to weather or any other circumstances beyond our control.

David Laird Campground or its management bears no responsibility for any loss or damage to any person or property, or thing howsoever caused.

The management reserves the right to evict any day user, guest, camper or group of campers for any cause.
