Deer Creek Campground and RV Park – Agreement, Policies, & Waiver
I. GENERAL AGREEMENT
I agree, and shall ensure that my children, invitees, and guests abide by the Park Rules, including those published at www.deercreekcampsite.com, posted on the premises, or otherwise communicated by Deer Creek Campground and RV Park management.
I further understand and agree that Deer Creek Campground and RV Park does not issue credits or refunds due to the discomforts of nature. The refund policy is outlined below and varies depending on the timing of the cancellation notice before the reservation date.
Cancellation and Refund Policy

If cancelling with 14 or more days' notice we will provide a refund minus a 10% cancel fee. If cancelling with less than 14 days' notice, your 1 night deposit will be forfeited.
Note: Camp credit can only be used within the same calendar year and only toward site or cabin rentals. Refunds for credit card payments will be issued back to the original card on file.
Recreational Activities and Liability Waiver
As a participant in recreational activities:

I am responsible for acting within my abilities.

I will heed all safety warnings and maintain control of myself and any equipment.

I will refrain from any behavior that could cause harm to myself or others.
I release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue Deer Creek Campground and RV Park, LLC, its owners, and agents from any and all liability for:

Injury (including death) or loss/damage to property
-
Hazards related to weather, wildlife, or natural surroundings
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the campground and its management from any damages, legal fees, or claims related to my stay or that of my guests or family members.
Campground Site Access & Responsibility

Campground staff may assist in guiding RVs to sites, but you are fully responsible for your vehicle and any potential damage.

You indemnify and release the campground from any liability resulting from staff assistance.
Payment Terms

I am personally responsible for paying the full reservation amount prior to check-in.

Any unpaid balance may be charged to the card on file.
-
Balances due after 30 days may incur the maximum late fees allowed by state law.
Behavior and Conduct
Deer Creek Campground and RV Park is privately owned and reserves the right to refuse service to anyone except where prohibited by law. Grounds for removal without refund include:

Violation of park rules
-
Inappropriate or disturbing behavior
-
Harassment, hate speech, or mistreatment of staff or guests
I agree to be responsible for the conduct of all individuals in my party.
Photo/Video Release: I grant Deer Creek Campground and its partners the right to use any visual portrayals of individuals in my party for promotional purposes.
Rental Unit Terms

Units must be left in a reasonably clean condition:

No dirty dishes, clean fridge, microwave, and countertops

Trash must be disposed of properly

Cleaning Fees:
-
$125 if not cleaned properly
-
$250 (minimum) if excessively dirty, if pets are present in non-pet units, or if there is smoking in the unit
Damage Liability:
I am liable for all damages to the rental unit including, but not limited to:

Lost keys or remote controls
-
Broken/damaged furniture, appliances, or fixtures
-
Stains, drawings, or damage to bedding or mattresses
Animal Waiver
Regulations
-
Prohibited Areas: Dogs are not allowed in food areas, playgrounds, or pavilions.
-
Campground Discretion: Management may exclude dogs for reasons including breed restrictions, aggression, illness, or disruptive behavior.

Supervision: Dogs must be leashed or crated and cannot be left unattended.
-
Vaccinations: All dogs must be up-to-date on rabies, distemper, and flea treatments.
Disturbances
If my dog causes complaints or disruptions, I agree to find alternate housing or leave the campground without a refund.
Assumption of Risk
I acknowledge my dog’s presence at the campground is a privilege and not a right. I release the campground and all associated parties from liability related to my dog’s behavior and agree to indemnify them for any damages or claims.
COVID-19 Acknowledgment
By entering the campground, I affirm that:

I have not tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 14 days

I have not been in contact with anyone who has

I am symptom-free and will not visit if I show symptoms or test positive

I will follow all on-site COVID-19 safety measures, including mask-wearing and social distancing where required
Deer Creek Campground and RV Park Policies
Check-In / Check-Out

Check-in: 2:00 PM CST
-
Check-out: 11:00 AM CST
Early check-in is not permitted. The previous guest has paid for their site until noon, and we respect their time. If arriving early, please make alternative arrangements or wait in our designated waiting area.
You do not need to contact the office for check-out unless you're paying for an after-hours check-in. Late check-ins are allowed at any time—please contact the park for instructions.
Guests staying more than 14 days must contact the office for more details.
Site Changes
Guests are assigned a specific site. If you wish to move, please contact the office. Changes may not be possible due to reservations or maintenance.
Open Fires
Open fires are not permitted. Fires must be in approved fire pits or designated rings.
Parking
Do not park your vehicle, trailer, or boat in an adjacent site. Doing so will result in additional charges.
Storage
Storage under or around RVs or picnic tables is not allowed.
Site and Park Navigation
Do not walk between campsites. Please use main roads and public paths.
Washing
Washing RVs and vehicles is not allowed.
Rugs
Rugs larger than 3' x 2' are not allowed on the grass.
Pet Policies

Leash: Pets must be on a leash at all times.

Buildings: Pets are not allowed in buildings or on the playground. Do not tie pets to trees, doors, or posts.

Clean-up: Use designated pet areas and clean up after your pet. Failure to do so may result in removal without a refund.

Unattended Pets: Do not leave pets unattended.
-
Furniture: Pets are not allowed on furniture in cabins or RVs. $25 charge per incident.

Vaccinations: All pets must be vaccinated.
-
Barking: Excessive barking will not be tolerated and may result in eviction.
Vehicle Policies
Each site includes one RV and one vehicle. Extra vehicles must park in designated areas behind the cabins.

No parking on grass.
-
Do not block roads, dumpsters, or building entrances.
-
Trailers, boats, and additional vehicles must be in designated overflow parking.
-
OHVs (ATVs, Dirt Bikes, Motorcycles, Golf Carts): Only to be used to enter or exit the park.
II. GENERAL PARK POLICIES
Severe Weather: Seek shelter in the bathrooms or laundry room. Bring pets with you.
Visitors: All visitors must register at the office and may not bring pets. Day visitors must leave by 10:00 PM, and overnight visitors by noon. Guests are responsible for their visitors.
Electrical Use: Understand your RV’s amp usage. Do not tamper with electrical pedestals. Contact maintenance for any issues.
Laundry: Open 24/7. Do not leave laundry unattended. We are not responsible for accidents or theft.
Restrooms: Open 24/7 except during daily cleaning. Children under 18 must be supervised.
Playground: Open from 9:00 AM to dusk. No alcohol, loud music, glass, or rough play allowed. Clean up after food. Children must be supervised.
Quiet Time: 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM. One warning for loud music; further issues may result in eviction.
Trash Disposal:

Place bagged trash by the road between 7:00–10:00 AM.

Do not dispose of hazardous waste or large items.
-
Improper disposal may result in fees.
Children: Must be supervised at all times. No bikes on the main entrance road. No restroom use without an adult.
Drones: Drones are prohibited.
Clotheslines: Not permitted.
Fireworks & Firearms: Strictly prohibited. Includes sparklers, smoke bombs, airsoft, BB, and pellet guns. Violations will result in immediate eviction.
Repairs: Onsite repairs are not allowed. We can recommend local mobile RV services.
Safety & Emergencies: Call 270-796-0108 or 270-784-2375 for concerns. For 911 emergencies, call the office if time allows so staff can assist responders.

III. GOLF CART RENTALS and LIABILITY WAIVER

Renter and Drivers must be 18 years of age and hold a valid driver’s license.

Golf carts must be operated at all times in a safe, respectful manner. Irresponsible or any dangerous activities will not be tolerated and cart rental will be immediately suspended.

Carts must stay under the speed limit and stay on the main roads in the campground.
-
Carts must only carry the amount of passengers the cart allow 2/4/6 seaters.

Carts must be returned at the designated times or $10 per half hour will be charged.

Please report any issues or malfunctions immediately to the park staff.

Anyone found abusing the rules will forfeit rental and no returns, any damage the renter occurs will be responsible for all repairs. The renter is liable to any damage to any property.

Alcohol is not permitted on cart and rules of the Motor Vehicle Act will apply.
RELEASE OF LIABILITY, WAIVER OF CLAIMS, ASSUMPTION OF RISKS AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT, BY SIGNING THIS RELEASE AGREEMENT YOU WILL WAIVE OR GIVE UP CERTAIN LEGAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING THE RIGHT TO SUE OR CLAIM COMPENSATION FOLLOWING AN ACCIDENT.
Deer Creek Campground and RV Park and their Directors, Officers, Employees, agents, Independent CONTRACTORS, SUBCONTRACTORS, REPRESENTATIVES, ORGANIZERS, AND VOLUNTEERS WILL BE REFERRED TO AS THE RELEASEES.
In the release agreement the term Activities shall include all activities, events, services or use of facilities provided and all equipment and property of Deer Creek Campground and RV Park.
Assumption of Risk: I am aware that participating in the activities involves many inherent risks, dangers, and hazards, including but not limited to changing weather conditions, natural objects, impact collision with persons property. I am aware that none of the risks, dangers, and hazards of the activities is negligence on part of the activities, some of which is referred to above. I freely accept and fully assume all such risks, dangers, and hazards of the activities and the possibility of personal injury, death, property damage or loss resulting therefrom.
I AM AWARE OF THE RISKS, DANGERS AND HAZARDS ASSOCIATED WITH THE ACTIVITIES AND I FREELY ACCEPT AND FULLY ASSUME ALL SUCH RISKS, DANGERS AND HAZARDS AND THE POSSIBILITY OF PERSONAL INJURY, DEATH, PROPERTY DAMAGE AND LOSS.
TO WAIVE ANY AND ALL CLAIMS THAT I HAVE OR MAY IN THE FUTURE HAVE AGAINST THE RELEASEES FROM ANY AND ALL LIABILITY THAT I MAY SUFFER OR THAT MY NEXT OF KIN MAY SUFFER AS A RESULT OF THE ACTIVITIES AT DEER CREEK CAMPGROUND AND RV PARK IN THE PROVIDENCE OF SCOTTSVILLE, KENTUCKY.
Final Acknowledgment
By signing, I affirm that I have read and understand all rules, waivers, and responsibilities outlined above. I agree to comply and ensure that all members of my party and guests do the same. Failure to do so may result in removal from the campground without a refund.
