Policies and General Information

Deer Creek RV Park

CHECK-IN: 2 PM

CHECKOUT: 11 AM

RV TYPE POLICY:   Approved recreational vehicles include class A, B, and C motorhomes, fifth wheels, hard-sided travel trailers, hybrid travel trailers with pop-out beds, toy haulers, hard-sided truck campers, pop-up campers and teardrop campers. All recreational vehicles must be factory manufactured only and currently registered, maintained in good condition, and in running order without leaks of any kind. In addition, all RVs must be leveled and supported with the proper equipment. (Tent camping, FEMA Trailers, modified school buses or auto/truck camping tents are not permitted.)

15 YEAR RULE:  We do love a great restored vintage camper; however, we will need to pre-approve any RV more than 15-years old to ensure that it is maintained and in good condition. Please email images of your RV within 48 hours of booking your stay to office@deercreek-rvpark.com for approval. RVs over 15 years old that arrive without prior authorization may be denied entry. 

LATE ARRIVAL: Gate closes at 5 PM. If arriving after 5 PM, please call our office at 251-241-0479 to make prior arrangements with park management. NO ARRIVALS after 10:00 PM.

CHECK-IN:  Early check-in and late checkout may be available for a fee. 

SITE ASSIGNMENT: Sites assignments are not guaranteed and may be changed at management’s discretion unless Site-Lock is purchased at booking. If you wish to move, please check with the office before moving. Due to reservations and maintenance, moving may not be possible.

OCCUPANCY:  Rates are based on up to 4 people per site.  Additional people over 4 are allowed with a $5 per person per day fee.

MONTHLY OCCUPANCY: Maximum 2 people per site unless otherwise approved by Deer Creek Management.

MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY: No more than 6 people allowed (including registered guests and visitors) per site at any time. 

EMERGENCY:  For any emergencies, please dial 911. (Please notify staff at 251-241-0479 to assist with escorting emergency vehicles in park)

CANCELLATION POLICY

  • Cancellations must be received at least 14 days prior to arrival to receive a refund of your deposit minus cancellation fee.
  • Cancellations made less than 14 days prior to arrival will be charged the full remaining balance on the reservation.
  • A $20 cancellation fee will be applicable to all cancellations.
  • There are no refunds for No-Shows, inclement weather or early departure.

Note: All refund calculations exclude the service fees and credit card processing fees, which are non-refundable. 

 

VEHICLES AND TRAILERS:  You are permitted one RV and one vehicle per assigned site. Do not park on patio, grass, another site, or the road. Subject to availability, a 2nd vehicle pass may be purchased for $5.00 per day.

QUIET HOURS:  Quiet hours are between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM and are enforced. Children and teenagers are required to be with Parent(s) and/or Guardians after quiet hours begin. 

OPEN FIRES:  Open fires are not allowed in the park. NO Wood Burning Fires Allowed! Portable gas fire pits may be used. All portable gas fire pits must be placed on gravel or concrete surface so that the heat from it does not damage the grass. Absolutely No burning of garbage, trash, or other items in your firepit!

SMOKING:  Smoking (including the use of electronic smoking devices) is not allowed in Office, Bathhouse or in any of the other facilities or common areas. Please note that any smoking that interferes with another camper’s overall experience will not be permitted.

DRUG & ALCOHOL: Alcohol is allowed for campers/guests 21 years of age and older. Alcohol must be consumed at guest site ONLY! Alcohol is not allowed in Office, Bathhouse or in any of the other facilities, roadways or common areas. Loud, inappropriate, vulgar language and excessive use is not tolerated, and campers/guests can be asked to leave. Please note that any use of a legal substance that interferes with another reasonable camper’s overall experience (including at a campsite) will not be permitted. Any illegal drug use is not permitted. Any violation of the Drug & Alcohol Policy will result in campers will be asked to leave without a refund. Ala. Code § 35-15-30 (1975)

SPEED LIMIT:  5 mph or less throughout the park.

TRASH:  Please place all trash in the dumpster at front of park. DO NOT leave anything outside of dumpster. No construction material allowed, DO NOT clean out your work truck here! Only Household trash. Large oversize items including matresses, tents, etc, are not to be placed in dumpster or left beside it. Any large items left will results in a $150.00 fee added to your account for the added costs of removal.

GERNERAL:  Violators of these rules will be asked to leave the park without a refund!

o   DO NOT PLACE GRILLS ON PICNIC TABLESS! There will be $250.00 charge for damage to tables! 

o   No RV / Car or ATV Washing or Maintenance on any site.

o   No Off-Road Vehicles, ATV’s, 3-wheelers, 4-wheelers permitted in park

o   NO EV Charging allowed unless approved by Park Management

o   Absolutely NO Hair Coloring or Dyeing allowed in bathhouse! Guest is financially responsible for any damage.

o   No Generators

o   No Tents

o   No Overnight Exterior Lighting (as a consideration to other campers)

o   No Fireworks

o   No Firearms

o   No Disorderly Conduct

o   No Clotheslines

o   No Swimming Pools

o   No Grills on Picnic Tables or Other Park Property

o   No Digging, Poles, or Stakes in Grass

o   Do Not Cover Grass with Mats, Carpet or Tarps

o   No Liquid Waste of Any Kind May Be Dumped

o   Absolutely No work-related equipment OR vehicles at your site.

o   Refrigerators, freezers, and other appliances are not allowed outside campers in campsites.  No exceptions.

DRONES:  Drones are not permitted anywhere on the Deer Creek property for privacy and safety reasons. 

SEWER CONNECTORS:  Use of rubber donut or watertight collar is required on all sewer connections. These are available for purchase at the park office if needed.

WATER HYDRANTS:  Our water hydrants are frost-proof; however, water must be turned off with hoses disconnected from the hydrant and camper when temperatures are below 32 degrees Fahrenheit. Customer is financially responsible for any frozen hydrants and damage due to non-compliance. Minimun $250.00 repair charge as all park water will have to be shut off if your line freezes during repair.

PETS:  Pets limited to 2 per site. Only non-aggressive pets allowed. Must be on a maximum 6’ length leash. Must be current on all vaccines. May not be left outside when owners are away from site or park, nor may they be left inside RV to continually bark. Excessive barking, growling, or any aggressive behavior will not be tolerated. If your pet is not under control, you may be asked to leave the park without a refund. Other than service dogs, pets are not allowed in buildings or playground areas. Do not tie your pet to park property including trees and picnic tables. Please clean up after your pet and properly dispose of all pet waste/litter in proper receptacles. Pets are not allowed in Flower Beds! Owners not cleaning up after their pets will be asked to leave the park without a refund. No exotic or oversized pets or reptiles permitted.

WILDLIFE: Deer Creek has Deer, Bear, Raccoons, and many other wild animals visiting the park! DO NOT FEED THE ANIMALS!                       Be Bear Aware! Do not leave food or trash outside your camper. Do not leave food in your vehicle. Keep a close eye on your pets.

VISITOR POLICIES:  Anyone not registered to a site at check-in will be considered a visitor. All visitors must register and obtain a car permit at the office before entering the park. Cars parked without a valid permit are subject to towing at any time, at the customer or visitor’s expense. Permit must be visible on dash at all times. Visitor parking is in designated parking areas only. Day visitors must leave by 10:00 pm. Visitors may be restricted during periods of high occupancy. Registered customers are responsible for their visitors and will be held financially responsible for any damage to park property. Please make sure your guests are aware of the community rules. Those who do not comply will be considered asked to leave the park. Ala. Code § 35-15-30 (1975)

DISPLAYS: The American Flag, Sports Affiliated Flags, and flags with a delightful picture and/or family name are welcome. All other flag descriptions are not welcome on Deer Creek’s private property. This is a private campground. We reserve the right to change and/or interpret our “Terms and Conditions” to maintain a comfortable destination camping environment for all.

CAUTION:  Please enter the park with care and safety. Damage by a guest or guest’s visitor to park property is the financial responsibility of the guest.

SAFETY:  The park is not responsible for personal injuries or damages, loss or theft of any personal property or vehicle.

ACCIDENTS/INCIDENTS:  MUST be reported to management as soon as possible.

SUB-LEASE:  Subleasing of RV pads or campers is strictly prohibited. 

LAUNDRY FACILITIES:  (Coming Soon) Hours as posted. Do not leave clothes unattended. As a courtesy to other customers, only one washer/dryer set may be used by a party at one time. Please observe any laundry facility guidelines that are posted in the facility.

MONTHLY TENANTS: No Mail to be delivered or transferred to Deer Creek RV Park, There is a Post Office across the highway. No package delivery to the park. Dollar General across the street has a UPS site.

VENDORS:  No sale or solicitation of any products including, but not limited to, souvenirs, food, or merchandise. “For Sale” signs permitted only on private campers/vehicles.

VIDEO/CAMERA SURVEILLANCE:  Property and buildings are monitored for security purposes. 

MEDIA CONSENT:  Photography and video recording may occur at Deer Creek by management or third parties on its behalf for general and marketing purposes. The image, likeness, and voice of anyone entering the property may appear in final productions which may include, but not be limited to, publicity, illustration, advertising, and web content, all of which are the sole property of Deer Creek. By entering the property, you grant Deer Creek and their agents the right to record or photograph you, your guests, and your children/minors for these or any other legal uses, and you all agree to release Deer Creek and their agents from all liability connected thereto. Please contact management if you have any questions. 

 

  Management assumes no responsibility for any damage to you or your rig. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason.  Please use our facility at your own risk.
